I guess Micaiah's relationship to Sothe starts out as a kind of pseudo-mother, then sister, then lover and finally wife
It will be sad when he grows old and dies, and she will look pretty much the same :(
Im gonna be real honest here, ikes dialogue about not caring about skin or hair colour is probably the beat game dialoei have evee read and I feel like it genuinely helped me become a more accepting person
I personally thought it was kind of bizarre because Macaiah like raised Sothe when she found him as a child. So she's kind of like a mother figure to him.
I don't understand why many people hate their relationship, as far as I play FE, I like this couple most
From Personal experience, I'd say that Micaiah and Sothe have a 15 - 10 year age difference.
My Parent's are around that far apart from eachother in age, and pictures of them together when they were younger, well, it's hard to tells how old who is.
So basically, they're kind of a livling example of Sothe and Micaiah.

Love transcends time and age, i think it's a pretty beautiful love story that between Sothe and Micaiah
Oh, well I was just exaggerating xD. Since she found Sothe at a young age, and she's still with him today, the age difference would be determined based on how old Sothe looks now.
Shouldn't be far apart, but when they grow old together, she'll still be looking young! lol

sothe and micaiah actually only get married if they have A support (which they start out with) , in true FE tradition
Considering how the support controlled endings worked in Radiant Dawn, I think all of them are canon including both Soren and Ranulf left Tellius with Ike.

actually old since when she met shote she was the same age looking but is really older than him in years but if its just age looks than yeah
I can honestly say, throughout the game as I saw the two interact (they got too much screen time where the DB as a whole got too little -_- ), they came across to me as completely familial. And that was fine - if they'd left it at that (which fortunately, I can) then it'd make sense.
Emotional incest is just...disturbing. I can't see or particularly want any way around it. =/
Other than that though, this is one of my favourite conversations in the game.

Sothe isn't 5 years younger. Micaiah is probably like 50 years older because of the Laguz blood running through her veins.
Anyone who cares about another person like they do about each other can be called bro and sis relationship.But they're not blood related so of course they can get married.
Does anyone ever wonder what gender Micaiah and Sothe's child should be?

I'll be honest; I really loathed Sothe and Micaiah's relationship together. I like Micaiah. I like Sothe. But I don't like them together. In fiction, the ideal "true love" is one where they benefit each other. In Sothe and Micaiah...they don't. Sothe loses all his personality and becomes one-dimensional. Micaiah, as she develops, doesn't actually need Sothe for protection. It feels so much...more hollow. Especially since the two seem to excel better in each other's absence.
