Id like to use this in an off grid situation with a limited data hotspot. Do you know if you can set the camera to upload photos only without video to save on data?
I like too travel would this be able too connect my laptop or something that has data for its hotspot in places where I wouldn’t have access too Wi-Fi?
Very informative. I will look into buying. I purchased a similar one from Amazon and it was terrible. Just one question, can you connect through Alexa to get echo alerts or watch on echo show or fire TV?

The camera won’t recharge? I haven’t had it a year. Keep trying to turn it on with the power switch. What’s the other switch? I can’t tell if it’s on or off or if it’s unchargeable and dead.

I plan on using this for an RV. I put a data only sim into the router above the RV. So i am basically using my cellphone data plan. I want a security camera that just uses data when it detects motion not something on 24/7. How much data/KB/GIGS/ it uses. Like I said I only want it downloading when motion is there.
Is there a monthly app fee? Id like to use the camara with just my phone.

I just received this camera and it's not working very well. Whether or not I have a "Strong" or "Medium" wifi strength doesn't seem to matter...it's not working to well in both strengths. The problem is that it is slow to pick me up moving right in front of the camera waving my arms! So I have recycled the power button, used the reset button and now have a trouble email into their Support Team. I will post again to follow up, good or bad.
Ive had this device for about 6 months. And the time lapse isnt good, itll miss someone walking up but will capture them there

Hi, I just bought one. But the real time alert and motion detection isn't working even though all the settings are turned on. There are no videos in my library.
I am only able to get a live feed when I'm on the app.
Can you help me?

You may check your Push Notification setting if it is on
It works pretty well as long as you have good Wi-Fi at home
If you don't have wifi you can still use it. Put an sd card in and it'll record any movement without having to be connected to wifi. Just got two and I love them.

@@alvaroq2024Excuse me I actually got one is the quality on the SD card the best it can do based on the device because if you have bad wifi or if it's to far from the router the vid quality is worse ????????????????????????

I haven't personally experienced that, no.

There's no free do you have to get the plans for it to work
The light version is free and then it's 2.99 if you choose that. I got the pro version free for a month . I think that version is 5.49 a month. You could purchase somthing more with extra features but I have not tried everything yet.

Only if you want longer footage. It'll only record 20 seconds of footage with free. Also it'll only hold footage for a few days for free. Plans are pretty inexpensive

what if u dont wanna pay subscription
You can just use an SD card so all events if triggered by motion will save to the local storage. Get Subscription plan if u want it to be stored in the cloud and for other features.
I just bought these camaras, I don't want to have a subscription, do I still get the notification alert? What fetaures I will get if I don't get a subscription?
