If anyone's looking to turn off floodlight/flashlight upon detection. On the app select your camera, press on the settings icon on top right corner, go to image settings and there go to Full Color Mode. Change Intelligent Vision to Black and white night vision mode.

They record, I'm actually not sure where, but I can see many old recordings in the app. So I'm actually not sure, if they're recorded into the phone storage itself, or in the cloud. The outdoor Blink has subscription based storage. So what's the story with this one? My phone is 256GB storage, so I'm fine with recordings being stored in the phone. Thanks.
If you read the instructions you will see that the areas that you shade are the areas you want to be covered by motion detection not the other way around.

I can't find the answer but I recall reading that it will continue to record to sd card if wifi is lost. It will keep overwriting the card when it's full though

Good video, I bought one of these a few weeks back, installed it ok, but then after a couple of weeks the battery went dead, charged it but when I turned it back on the red light keeps flashing and fails to connect to the app, after around five minutes of the light flashing the camera turns itself off, this is all I can get now, the booklet says a flashing red light means it's trying to connect to Wi-Fi but obviously it fails to do so, I'm beginning to think I may have to press re-set ? what do you think please? but this means having to reinstall it I presume ! Not so impressed if I have to do that everytime it needs charging !

The Storage options are up to you, with the cloud subscription you will most likely pay more as an sd card is cheaper but the footage saves straight to the cloud using the cloud option
I bought this camera and a 1tb sd card is there any way to have it record 24/7 incase something happens and the camera doesnt pick up the motion detection event i have neighbors who tried to poison my dog with anifreeze which is why i got the camera but i still cant figure out how to make it record more than 30 seconds
This camera will only record motion detection (probably coz the battery would run out to fast making a battery camera pointless). I’m sure the max sd card size is 128gb. You can get a second camera with a power cable (still using a wifi signal to connect) iegeek do a cheap £30 powered camera which you can set to “All day recording” in the settings. This will give you a better chance of catching the neighbour with 2x cameras watching your property. It’s easy to add a second iegeek camera to the same app.
To find out , please , it is also possible to view in real time from time to time ( for about 2 minutes or a little longer ) what is happening in the area where it is installed to monitor , through the respective APP , whether this mode is included ? Or does it only work when it detects motion? Thanks .

Yea good video but u go way to fast..I was trying to set mine up and kept having to hit pause..Definitely would have been better if u slowed down and explained stuff..Then on mine my light on the camera comes on when sum one stands un front of it I found out how to turn off the blue light and I get it at night tike u might need the light but I don't want a intruder to stop doing what they were doing because a bright light comes on..Their has to be a way to turn it off..And then my canera time is right infixed all of that but it says new York and im not in new york cant figure out how to change that
I bought one from Amazon. Huge mistake the detection is so poor a person has to be virtually 1m to 1.5 m right on top of the camera before it detects them. So it's major function is shockingly bad. The connection to wifi and phone/app is a nightmare too. I must have had a dozen attempt's before it worked. So I sent mine back. The only positive thing about this camera is that it looks and feels well made. So it's basically a nice ornament. Replaced mine with Tapo products.
How do you find the wifi connection? I have BT and the IEGeek i have keeps dropping out connection..and its located not that far away. Bt Rubbish signal i guess! Grim!
If the camera works when it’s close to the router but doesn’t work well when you move it away from the router it’s probably that the signal isn’t very good. You can get WiFi signal extenders but I’m not sure if that will solve the issue or not
You can see the footage. It’s only if your camera is powered off or stolen you can’t see the footage because you won’t be able to connect to the camera
Most of these are super super complex to register and activate. I have a camera on my porch I just use as a deturent. Why can't they make it as simple as turn it on and it works. I'm going to get hard wired cameras. It's like they discriminate against the elderly.

I removed the yellow shade (brush icon) and my camera gave me a screenshot of people walking by.

You must have the camera recording lots of movement, adjust the sensitivity or you may need a powered camera

You should be able to download the app on android too. You can use a micro sd card also

You need motion detection on and receive notification, you can also go on your phone setting and under the app check you have notifications turned on.
