it works without the home base. I have a normal router.

it does, you can disable it in the app
What is the range? How far from the camera will it pick up motion?
they claim 30 feet which is about the same distance in my test
So does it alarm at the intruder? (If i can activate that)?
yes it does. you can set it to go off automatically or do it manually.
no homekit super is just a big no. dont want to use an app to check camera
what do you mean no homekit? doesn't every security cam comes with an app?
