While certainly not to the extent of in Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities metro, there are other lakes of some significance around the Chicago area, including its own chain of lakes in the northwest suburbs, the fox river valley, as well as rivers and lakes in the forest preserves.
I think your comments on crime are really wise. Peoples experiences always vary based on so many factors. I lived in a "murder capital" for a long time and always felt very safe.

Totally. I think they’re just not weaved into the fabric of the metro like the lakes of the cities.
I knew Chicago was big but I didn’t know it was the third largest city in the US. Thanks for conceptualizing it for me.
Our pleasure!

You should make more comparison videos!
I lived in Chicago for 10 years without a car. CTA is available everywhere.
Thank you for the thorough comparison. How do the people differ? I noticed Chicago seemed fast paced and often times rushed and sometimes aggressive.
The reason for the massive change in price when you get into the suburbs of chicago is because you no long are paying chicago city taxes
Chicago's transportation cost is probably higher because of all the toll-ways 😔
Very good point!
