........GIGGLES......but does it wiggles? Guys love the jiggles. But definitely nothing wrong with yooo guys going to the motor pool. """ Hhhhmm, which sled to pull out and get some miles with it?
Everyone went ape on the R18 social sites when KW came out with a windshield for the R18. I have a Roctane and coming off my 24 RG onto it, my first thought is Geez, what a beast! BMW put more steel and aluminum in the R18 than a skyscraper. The R18 engine is more old Harley V-Twin than the modern Harley’s. The quality on a R18 shames Harley.
I'm so incredibly jealous of you that you're still able to ride. My 04 Electra Glide blew out the spark plug on labor day weekend and it's going to cost around 1k to fix so my season ended immediately. Enjoy your videos as well as many others and they help me get through the brutal Buffalo winters till I can get back on the roads. I like that Jekyll and Hyde exhaust you run too, very suburban neighborhood friendly!
This is why I love to watch your videos. You're always cute and funny and I enjoy listening to that giggle. Thank you always for being you on these videos. ❤
This windshield truly makes a difference. The lip definitely makes a difference eliminating most of the buffeting while aesthetically keeping the bike looking sporty. I agree with Jess, the remaining buffeting comes from underneath the front fairing, I installed Chinesium winglets that wrap around the front turn signals, the combination of the winglets and the Klock Werks windshield eliminates about 90% of the buffeting. There aren’t many aftermarket parts for these bikes, and with the slow sales I doubt there will ever be an abundance of aftermarket parts for these BMWs.
That's good to see that Klockwerks has come out with a good aftermarket alternative to the OEM options for that bike. The turbulence off of the fairing on mine (2022 R18B) with both the factory one and the Transcontinental was the reason I ended up selling it and buying a K1600B.
Klock Werks are good folks. I live about an hour away from them. They let me demo the R1250RT windscreen on my bike before committing to buy it. It ended up not being a good fit for my height, but they were super cool about it.
Another budget friendly bike and I love it is the Kawasaki Vaquero bagger, it hasn't been updated for 14 years but cost savings leaves lots of room for upgrades
Thank you for this. Great video, and don't apologize for the ending. You made me laugh a couple of times. Also, I'm heading down to "On Any Moto" here in Tucson to try out the V100 Mandello. I keep hearing good things about it, and after your comments, I HAVE to see if that is my next bike.
JUGS!!!!! But I don't need the windshield. LOL. I'd been hounding them too and purchased one right at release. It's a beautiful product and functional as far as I can tell. It looks stunning on the Manhattan Metallic Matte. Rode the Bighorns just before it came out and can't wait to repeat that with the new windshield come spring.
A graveyard is typically associated with a church. A cemetery is usually associated with a municipality or private organization. But....nowadays it's pretty interchangeable.
LOL!!!! You were on a roll at the end of that one! This was a great video with an install, bike update, and motovlog in one. You don't have to get that much in every vid but it was a really nice video. Thanks!
Well hello-o-o Dolly! So good to see her again. I've been a big fan of the R18s ever since they came out. Your video of the swap of your R18C for the 'B is still one of my favourites, and I watch it often. I've missed seeing Dolly ever since you bought her, and wondered what the story was. My 2013 FLHTC is the same colours, and recently I tried trading it for an R18. But the BMW dealer wouldn't take my trade! Too many km. (193,000) So I watch your videos and dream. And as for that ending. Oh, so what. That's life, and The End is part of it. Plant me, and I'll grow a beautiful tree.
Great video! Loving the Monday content, I have 3 bikes, Spyder F3L, Honda XR150 and Royal enfield Scram 411. I enjoy them all and try to ride each of them at least once a week. It is great to be able to choose what to ride. Love the XR for gravel back roads and trails. Scram is nice on pavement and gravel. Spyder is a great long haul ride, it is my mile crusher. Enjoy all of your bikes!
Honestly, you're BMW is my least favorite bike you have, im just not into those bikes, that being said i genuinely love how much you love and appreciate her and the joy she bring you! Loved this video so much! Love the "plant your dead" comment! Cracked me up and makes me wanna call cemeteries and grave yards "People Gardens"! Hahaha
The bike is heavy by midway it has no easy sway whatsoever. I've had a similar bike which was my VTX 1800 Honda and after 16 yrs I just couldn't deal with the weight anymore, too heavy and always afraid to lose control ,which took a few weeks to get rid of once I bought my 2004 Goldwing which has a way better balance ,smooth and not to mention getup and go, a real joy to ride.
Rode mostly Japanese bikes, primarily Suzuki, since the early 1990’s. Bought my first BMW this last July, a K1600B. Now wondering why I waited this long. You can’t go wrong with a BMW. Luxury motorcycle is an understatement. I work for HD at their plant in York, PA. I’m known as the “dude” who rides the Beemer. Can’t say I’m upset by that moniker.
Jess if you think the BMW is a heavy bike try a 99 yahama roadstar dry weight for shipping is 949 lbs then add 5 gallon of gas and 5 quarts of oil then bags trunk and windshield
The windshield looks good on there! Also good stuff for mounting it by yourself! 💯😄 Also as a naked bike rider, it's hard for me to fathom you want to get rid of most of the riding wind. I need to feel some. 😆Also, yes don't have a choice with that unless I get a different bike next to this one. 😂 Moto Guzzi incoming for Jess at some point. 😆 Also the ending, ahahahahaha had me laughing so hard! 😂
I enjoy your motovlog! I recently downsized my bike from a VTX 1300 to a Vulcan 900. I miss the power of the VTX . However, I was ready for a lighter weight bike. Have a great day!
I upgraded the stock windshield on my 2009 Road King with one from Klockwerks this year. Night and Day difference! Motovlog Mondays for the win! I was listening while topping off my wife’s Jeep tires with the X9 Pro! ✌️
Nice intro! LOL at all the jugs comments. 😅 Ex Ohio native, enjoyed seeing the Fall foliage. I miss those sunny, colorful, Oct rides. There is just something about them. 😊🍁
The stock taller Transcontinental windshield works great. I 've put 15K on mine without issue. Probably not the best looking option for the bagger, but might be worth a swap for longer trips.
So I owned the r18b last year and put 16000 miles on it during the summer. Bike was absolutely flawless, no issues I ride it hard and nothing went wrong with it. Rides very good. Way more stable then a harley at high speed, suspension is by far superior over a harley, brakes are way better then a harley. I bought the new 24 roadglide this year, put 18000 miles on it, the big display quit on it they had to put a new one in it. Front brake rotors warped on it, after about 7000 miles the second set of rotors is warping now, my rear wheel bearing are toast in it now. Rear brake error is warped. Bmw is by far the better quality bike, hands down for way less money
Which is faster the Road Glide Or the R18 ? Can you maneuver the R18 like the Road Glide? Enjoyed the video.

I love the looks of the BMW R18, It's the most gorgeous bike on the market. I really wanted to love the ride, but I didn't. It feels big and it doesn't like to turn. you can't lay it down properly because of the cylinders sticking out. That was a big bummer bimmer.
There wasn’t a damn thing wrong with the ending of this episode. Gotta love you Jess! You’d fit right in with my bunch, we’re all inappropriate as all get out. Keep up the good stuff and keep being you. 👍👍
That was sooooo funny when Jordan said that you should have put a towel down before you did the windshield cause I was thinking the same thing!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ride safe Jess !!! Hi to Jordan too!!!😃😃😃😃
Luv'en Moto log Mondays, you have some really nice roads to ride on, I live in a small town in east texas, pine trees and pastures. I watch you ride around on those country roads Monday evening and I gotta go ride Tuesday, I'm retired, I can do that, keep doing what you're doing
So is Jess officially done with GoPro now? I spy two DJI's! The BMW is a beast for sure, kind of intimidating! And wow the colors of Ohio are beautiful this time of year! We don't get that here in my part of California (: Oh, also.... I definitely don't think motovlogs are dead. I, too, have had people tell me they watch videos and just listen to them like a "podcast" which in itself is really cool.
Don't we all love the "Big girls?" The smallest bike I ever owned was a Suzuki DR800s. Called DrBIG. 240kg dualsport. Out of my three current bikes, the lightest one weigh 300kg. You do what you wanna do. I would love to buy my self a PanAmerica, but they are too expensive here in Sweden.
Love motovlog monday, I watch every monday on my drive home! Just an idea have you ever considered geocacheing maybe ride to a location and see what kind of trinkets ot trackable items you can find medium and large caches are usually best... Just a thought....
Have you ever looked into F4 windshields out of the Cleveland area (Twinsboro I believe)? I learned of them on Law Abiding Biker, Ryan Urlachers podcast. They are tough and visually correct. Doesn't matter on a low windshield profile like that bike but any bike where it's more upright...it would be great. Unfortunately I had just bought a windsplitter for my Electra Glide so I don't have personal experience with them
I love the moto vlog mondays it gives me something to do at work on monday and the scattered brained craziness, it's things that I like about you in sha tree, but you're a lot better looking than changing, he's definitely a bit crazier
I have one of those on my wishlist already. Yes the B and TC are the same. I have the TC is the same colors as yours. Which side case guard did you go with?
I GENUINELY apologize about that ending... 😅
Beginning was absolutely terrific!!😂
Focus jess Focus lol
"Don't plant them" 😄>🥲

😂 that's so something I would say! Also saying 'tiddies'....😅
I absolutely LOVE Motovlog Mondays. It's you being you.
More to come!
Yes
Jess I really enjoy Motovlog Monday.. It's nice and calming and relaxing....Thanks!😊
I'm so glad!

That was the best candid video ever, loved every minute of it and Dolly is definitely my favourite 😃
Love that new windshield, Jess! And the fall colors up there in Ohio are incredible!!!🥰👍👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks so much!!

Windshield looks fantastic
Great video. Love the tree colors. I like fall but not what’s next. I will enjoy as many miles as I can over the next few weeks.
Yeah I dread what’s next!
Love when I laugh in the first 10 seconds of a video. 😂 PS: Continue being your uncensored self, it's awesome. The kids will be alright.
I was in a mood 😂

Jeeze, you're in a mood for this one. Love it!
Love my r18b first bagger and such a good fit for me
Loved the ride, great scenery. Glad to ride along with you.
Love the new windshield
JUGS Love to put this On My R18B
OK I'm commentinga lot, but yeah when I downshift I love that crackle from the exhaust!

Very nice!
Ohio is sooo beautiful in October. Nice ride, when I see a BMW R18 it always catches my eye.
Ohio looks awesome in the fall. Good to get out for a ride in this Indian Summer.
JUGS 😀 Love the new klock windshield
Jugs! I have a 2023 r18b and absolutely love it!
Hey Justin! Go ahead and shoot me an email at: info.hertwowheels@gmail.com
Took the wife on a ride down through Vintan County this past weekend. But I really think this weekend should be prime for seeing all the colors.
Nice intro! LOL at all the jugs comments. 😅
Ex Ohio native, enjoyed seeing the Fall foliage. I miss those sunny, colorful, Oct rides. There is just something about them. 😊🍁
I tuned in because somebody said something about big jugs!!! 😂
We’re simple creatures.
Whenever big jugs are mentioned us dudes are on high alert....
@@leedanielson7452sadly, so true. We’re easily distracted. 😂
@@peternorton5648 Aint that the truth....😂
Mannnn, that bike is just prettyyy 😍
She really is!!
Absolutly, a good windshield makes a world of difference.
Cheers Jess ! 😃
Enjoying the Monday vlogs, look forward to them.
JUGS - I would love to have this for my R18. It seems to make a great difference in the video.
Jess, we love you!
I almost spit my apple cider across the room on that ending! 😂
Hilarious. Please continue.

I didn’t know the difference. But I did know from personal experience they make great neighbors.
Nothing like a beautiful fall day in NE Ohio! I just finished a nice 4 hour ride of looking at the colors myself.
Very nice!
These are my favorite videos .... Rambling on the road ....and Rambling ha ha ha
Jugs! I’d Love to test this on my 23 Transcontinental, the top of my stock windshield is right in my line of sight.
JUGS But sadly i don't have an R18. Going to order a curved shield for my 2019 kawasaki vulcan voyager
Jugs!! This windshield looks great!
You were really on one in this video. 😂😂 Hilarious
Love Dolly.

Absolutely beautiful Jess . And so is that bike❤🇺🇸Hoosier Wing.🇺🇸
Jess, I would use black hardware on this, would look cleaner in my opinion….great job again !

Please take the Dyna out, it's being neglected leaving her in the shed! ❤️Love love love your Dyna, Jess!!
I wish Klock Werks made a windshield for my bike. I desperately need one that reduces or eliminates the buffeting!

😂😂😂 welcome!
Klock Werks should include Black Mounting hardware for the windscreen.
🎉 JUGS 🎉
Nice video keep up the great work Her Two Wheels
Larger bmws are heaven handling at slow speed but on road very nimble and stable. Enjjoy the new windscreen.
I love the motovlogs. It's always fun to go on a virtual ride with you
Glad you like them!
Awesome ride safe and enjoy always enjoy watching it
Beautiful road Beautiful October month colors
seriously envious of the autumnal weather in Ohio! Its around 6C here (40F), and unpleasant would be an understatement 🤣

I was contemplating getting an ebay windshield but I might have to take a look at this!
Planning on moving away from heavy bikes. My back is shot and I don't want to have to pick one up if I drop it any more.
The Road Glide HD is the best
R18 for the fall colors
I hope you will attend the BMW rally in burkesville ky the 3rd weekend of May
Looks good 👍
Jugs!! 2022 R18B FE ☺️
