Been using this fold since the early 70's when my first son was born. I was still using it until l retired from my daycare job in 2016. It's great that cloth nappies/diapers are still being used today. Go you good mums.
This was supper popular when I started flats with my baby at the time a couple of years ago, and I am coming around to trying it this way? Ya sold me on no poop in the folds to contend with!
Hi My mum used this fold for me and my brother who is now 40. In our country we only have disposables for about 25 years. Here everyone used this fold from newborns to toddlers. Its good that you invented it again becouse its very easy and really adjustable.
Thank you so much! This is my favorite fold to try so far. I’m branching out to flats after using prefolds because my baby is in between size 1 and 2 prefolds for the brand I started with. This one is so adaptable and efficient. My mnemonic for remembering it is “Two mountains, one big, one little. The little one goes in and then out. The big one follows and goes back out.”
OH MY GOODNESS I just came across this video and I made this fold with a GMD large muslin, stuck it on my 7mo. It is SO cute and functional!! No snappy needed for us! Awesome!!
This is the best fold ever! Holy smokes thanks so much! The fluff butt may actually fit into some pants now haha. It is so trim and the best fold that I have got to fit inside my covers to date.
You are a genius! I'm going to try this one tonight. I've been struggling to fit the origami and kite folds in certain wool covers, and I think this is just what I need. Thanks 😁
Oh my gosh, this is incredible! Thank you!! I really liked the origami fold but there is barely any absorbency and soo much fabric in the wings. I can’t wait to try this! Thank you!!!
this fold is awesome. and quick and easy. versatile too. keeps good shape just as you said. and utilizes absorbancy... to be, where it is needed most.. also with options to increase or add a soaker too. fantastic!
Sherisa Raising Mothers - I’m so glad it’s working out for you! We love this for nighttime with a hemp doubler sandwiched inside. Thanks for the feedback, mama! 😘
I kind of can't believe the Pickman fold was literally just created and is named after this mama who invented it! Definitely a solid way to fold flats and works great for my littles man (6 months) and my big girl who is about to turn 3 (for night time accidents)!
This one is prob the best. I saw a lot of foulding...but yes this might be the best (most of the fabric is there where it should be). It looks a little bit like origami, but after a few times pract. i can do it!
This isnt new. Sorry. Its a fold that i used after learning it from another video about 12 years ago. I think the nappy lady also has this fold example in her videos. That being said this is like the spear- independently reinvented without outside influence all over the world. You figured it out all by yourself! And then shared your knowledge just as people have all over the world forever. I think thats so awesome. Well done.
This looks like a fold I can do. I am trying to stop using my pockets and i like this becaise I can have the ready to go and just add a bamboo insert in the middle.
Hey, um, a lady who uses disposables told me that if the explosion happens away from home, you have to carry dirty diapers around in a bag with you, however many they soil. How do you handle flatfolds on the go, or are they more like lockdown diapers?
Are these the muslin or Birdseye? I have some stretchy flats that I love that I’ll try with this but, the non stretchy ones may work better with this. Thank you in advance!

This is now my favorite fold! Works well with my heavy wetter baby boy
Omg new to cloth diapering but this fold is a game changer. Thanks.
Nice! I like how much fabric sits in the front when you adjust the size - perfect for well-hydrated little boys!

OBSESSED with this fold! covers all the bum cheeks where as most other folds don’t! Love love love!
Just tried it out, so simple and looks so trim! Very easy to snappy on! One happy mumma here!

How did it work for you? Good for chunky thigh babies? My girl just poops right out the sides of the origami fold 😩
@@BasedZoomer My babe isn’t here yet but I feel like I remember the origami fold really holding stuff in with my last son!
That’s a fold I can remember too!!! About to try it with my large GMD flats!
this fold is awesome. and quick and easy. versatile too. keeps good shape just as you said. and utilizes absorbancy... to be, where it is needed most.. also with options to increase or add a soaker too. fantastic!
I used this fold on all three of my sons - such a versatile fold
I just tried this and I absolutely love it!! I’ll try this for night wearing as well tonight. My girl looks so trim! Thank you

Way easier than the origami fold and works just exactly like it! Woohoo
Best fold I’ve seen so far! Thank you!
Using this fold now that the origami fold seems too short for my baby’s torso. Super trim and easy, I love it :)
Love this fold so much! Thank you thank you thank you for changing my flat game for the best🌸
Thank you for the fold. It's so easy even I can do it... Looking forward to using this absolutely.. Love from Finland
I love this fold .. absorbant and trim :) you're my night time life savior
This is an extremely useful video! Thanks so much for posting.
“A nice clean area for poop.” Probably made me laugh harder than It should have....

This looks like such an awesome fold. I can't wait to try it out!
This fold stays in place once on the bum, love it!
Thank you so much just try your way and i love it

pickman fold is my favorite! maybe tied with origami.
Love your name.
Wow this is amazing, can't wait to try it

yes it was called gaynor fold.
I’m hoping this will work for my heavy wetting 3 week old!!!
Nice one
I'm looking forward to trying this out.
Wonderful ! What is the size of square??
Sorry this is an older video I know, I just bought my first flats to use on my toddler. I'm due in june, would this be a trim option on a newborn?
This is fantastic! Thank you :)
I need those napkins 70*70 in Zimbabwe
I tried this fold and it worked very well. Can you please tell which brand cover diaper you are using ? Thank u in advance.
Amazing! Thank you for this 😊
This looks like a fold I can do. I am trying to stop using my pockets and i like this becaise I can have the ready to go and just add a bamboo insert in the middle.
THis is perfect as I cannot for the life of me get the airplane fold idk what im doing wrong
Love this!
How often do you change a 1.5y old if you use this fold on a birdseye?
Awesome!
Amazing this is the best thanks !
Thanku so much.
Can i know what u have been ised for pinned / snapped thing for sticking the diaper?
Can i get in online.
Thank u
It's called a Snappi. You can find them online. Got mine on Amazon.

In which way
Yes
Can you use this on a newborn???
From France here, what’s « small » size for you in cm or inches? Thanks! ☺️
Forgive me if I missed it but what brand flat diaper are you using in this video?
Amazing
I don't know how to get the wide thiner with out the wings to short.. Ill play around more with it
Is the material muslin cotton
This is my favorite food but I’m worried the wings are so thin that the snappi is rubbing her. Have you had this problem?
Can this be done with an FST? And can I add a hemp insert inside the pad for extra layers?
my question as well
Hey, um, a lady who uses disposables told me that if the explosion happens away from home, you have to carry dirty diapers around in a bag with you, however many they soil.
How do you handle flatfolds on the go, or are they more like lockdown diapers?
You simply put the soiled diaper in a wet bag and deal with it when you get home. Really not a big deal.
Get a wet bag. Thirsties bags are a great size for travel, can be washed with your diapers, and they are compact when rolled up.
Are these the muslin or Birdseye? I have some stretchy flats that I love that I’ll try with this but, the non stretchy ones may work better with this. Thank you in advance!
Thank you sooo much!
What size flats are you using?
I love it,,,
Can’t see the full cloth in the video. It makes it difficult to follow
Ok. I must be doing something wrong. When I pull the wings to make snug the nappy comes undone
Is this fold named after you? Did you invent it??
she invented it! but before she invented it, other people invented it.
Hi, Could you please advise me the cloth material name and height and width of the cloth?
how does this fold do with poop?
Ok I'm apparently doing something wrong. When I pull the wings to fit on baby, my fold comes undone
The wings seem too thin with this fold to use a snappy without it poking my child’s skin
This looks so easy, but my flat can not be the right size. It's not working at all, probably because these are newborn size organic muslin from GMD
this fold is annoying to do with flats that aren't perfectly square. The wings will be a bit wonky.
IcedCupcakes I just created a square before following the video. It’s easy to do.
Talking too much and taking so long to explain something very simple 🤷♀️
Too much talkative
