Those who detest Captain America (aside from those who just don't like the outfit) are generally hating on his lack of impressive superpowers. To those people, I have two things to point out. 1. Captain America never backs down when facing evil, no matter how bad the odds. This alone makes him worthy to stand beside Thor and Iron Man. 2. Somehow, no matter how bad the odds, when the fight is over, it's nearly always Cap who stands up. That's all you should need to hear.
Captain America is the moral compass of the Marvel Universe. Steve Rogers' inner strength and courage are what makes him a hero, not the super soldier serum. He always knows what is right and stands for the common man. That's what truly makes him great, and this music captures that perfectly.
***** I think both of them (Cap and Supes) were created to be the pinnacle of justice and heroism, so there can't really be any comparison between the two. It's like The Flash; there's no arguing that he's the fastest, because he is. Superman and the Captain are both incomparably outstanding.
Unless your a bomb, or a plane, or some ice, then he’ll choose to take a nap, cause the ice seems nice. When Captain America throws his mighty shield.
I thought this movie suck when I wached it first but when I wached it again I couldn't understand how I could think this movie was bad. Now I think this is one of best superhero movies I have wached.
@@hendriktackx8652 I really loved it. I mean, Winter Soldier is my favorite amongst the Cap trilogy, but this movie is great. Personally I would like to have seen some greater detail of the side missions aside from the montage, but I guess they were leaving that up to our imagination right?
When I first watched this movie, I just saw it as another stereotypical superhero movie where he eventually falls in love with a woman. It has a lot more meaning to it, an is now my favorite superhero movie.
I have to say; in my mind, those are the greatest kinds of heroes. The kinds where, if you ask what their powers are, the answer is "he doesn't lose." I like that power. Everybody loves watching the underdog, who somehow manages to win, regardless. That's how I see Captain America.
I love how in each of the Avenger marvel movies, they pay proper tribute and homage to the original hero suits before they move onto the new ones designed for the movies. Like we get to see Thor in his original suit at his crowning, cap's during Star Spangled Man, Iron Man escapes from the cave in the original original suit. I think its just nice that they do that. Oh, and they get bruce banner to wear those purple pants in The Incredible Hulk.
I remember his quote - "I can do this all day". And it's true he can. part of the reason he wins is because he uses the power he has in clever ways other than just using a lazer and expecting to be done. He stands and fights and quite honestly if Captain America is fighting you, you won't win.
This is one of those movies that you have to watch more than once---for it to creep up on you how good it is. Kinda like Iron Man II. Captain America is an excellent movie.
Lets see: Unbreakable shield Enhanced physical speed and strength Master strategist Can hold his own against the frigging Hulk Anyone who can do the last is pretty good.
Did anyone else shed a tear when they saw this movie and when you see cap in the avengers? I cried when i saw him punching that thing and his theme was playing. I was so proud.
Steve Rogers is the opposite of what Call of Duty stands for. Steve R. stands for righteousness and honor. In Call of Duty its about killing as much people as possible and seeing killing as Sport.
Great music from a rousing film, but not the best for a physical-therapy workout...you can forget that you're not Steve Rogers, and end up hurting yourself...AGAIN...
Just watched avengers...all this crying about Cap's outfit...I think it looks good.and a little advice to those who complain about costumes..DON'T WATCH SUPERHERO MOVIES IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A SUPERHERO COSTUME.
This entire universe exists primarily in a series of movies from 2008-present. We don't know if there are others before Cap around the world but based on what Fury said about belonging to a bigger universe there probably are. We also don't know what may have been going on elsewhere during that time for instance we didn't get much about thor in the incredible hulk even though they took place at the same time. This is a new verse. Judging this character when we know so little about him isn't fair
I only disliked two things in the movie. 1# Red Skulls silly rubber mask. That thing just didn't look real at all. He looked like a bad guy from Power Rangers. And 2# was lack of the actual war. With Hydra wearing these full body armors and shooting laser beams it felt a little to unreal. I think very little would have been needed to make it feel more like the actual WW2.
I listen to this suite every time I get to read the latest captain america issue :) makes that shit epic....omfg....what happened to ian (for those who read cap also) HOLYFUCK, just like that....
It is a combination of tracks edited from 1m1alt1 Logos and 6m10 Passage of Time. The corresponding tracks on the EMI release are 1. Captain America Main Titles and 24. Passage Of Time.
Just because he shows up in the Avengers doesn't mean he'll be in it. Probably a lead up into the Guardians of the Galaxy but hey who knows you're probably right.
13:54 - please, anyone knows which instrument plays the main melody here? You can hear it in the left speaker. Most of the times trumpets play the main melody (and are rather on the right), but at that particular moment it must be some lower sounding brass instrument...
sorry i got back to you so late.ok..on the dvd..go to where steve and bucky were at the worlds fair..going through the exhibit.there was a shot of a blonde haired man..red suit.n a tube.ign said phineous hortons man of tomorrow.that was the human torch..the original human torch...some people said..ohh it's just a manequin...well in the books..people said he wasn't real till the professor let air into the tube..then he woke up..and moved then burst into flame.so yeah i'd love to see him in action

+sadlobster1 You're skipping Captain America's third movie, which continues (and most likely ends) his trilogy just because some jerkish billionaire -hero- is the villain?
Nightbane No, I'm skipping because the idea of heroes fighting fellow heroes to the (possible) death is meaningless. Just like the whole skirmish between Batman and Superman will be
Raul Victor Yes but what's the point of fighting for said ideals when not only will this cut the Avengers in half. But the fact that Zemo, a member of HYDRA, may be the mastermind behind it. In other words, he may be making them all into his puppets
Additionally everyone here likes Captain America so arguing against him with walls of text in the comments is useless and I'm fairly positive we all are getting pretty tired of your weak rants and wish for you to stop leaving them here please
tell me about it..i heard it's going to have some good flash backs to the war..and we might even see some of caps other enemies...baron zemo...master man..i'd like to see the real nick fury who led the howling commandos...not the ultimate version.....and of course..when i saw the human torch at the worlds fair...def the invaders...but of course bucky has to be back at caps side again..avengers need bucky..hah hah

Yeah, imagine Captain America and Superman shaking hands; wouldn't that be great.
jrny20 Marvel vs DC who's the bigger boyscout!
mr6johnclark
The bigger boyscout? Depends on the superhero-heroine themselves.
Cap's theme is so iconic that it should never be changed.
His theme in Winter Soldier was great though but I agree this theme is perfect.
Memorable. One of Alan Silvestri's best scores.
let's hear it for captain america
Red Skull:What makes you so special?
Cap:Nothin. I'm just a kid from Brooklyn.
and it rhymes
When captain america throws his mighty shiiieeeld!
please god anything but that All those who appose his mighty shield must yield!
Unless your a bomb, or a plane, or some ice,
then he’ll choose to take a nap, cause the ice seems nice.
When Captain America throws his mighty shield.
-Unless you're a bomb, or a plane, or some ice; Or a brainwashed buddy, or SpidermaaAAAN!!!
Then you don't necessarily have to yieeeeld!!
What are you, Hydra or something??
And now the Mjolnir :)
I thought this movie suck when I wached it first but when I wached it again I couldn't understand how I could think this movie was bad.

Out of all these new linked Marvel films the first Captain America is just brilliant.
When I first watched this movie, I just saw it as another stereotypical superhero movie where he eventually falls in love with a woman. It has a lot more meaning to it, an is now my favorite superhero movie.

2011: Captain America: The First Avenger - Rated PG-13
Directed By Joe Johnston
Music Composed By Alan Slivestri
I could hear and see this as graduation music in the future
The music describes the whole WW2-based movie. It’s that good.
this better fucking be in infinity war
Alan Silvestri has composed one of this finest works for "Captain America". A score to be treasured and remembered.
I remember his quote - "I can do this all day". And it's true he can. part of the reason he wins is because he uses the power he has in clever ways other than just using a lazer and expecting to be done. He stands and fights and quite honestly if Captain America is fighting you, you won't win.
Possibly my favourite MCU score
"It's probably too late to go to the bathroom, right?" Haha, I will never get over how great this movie is :)
One of those themes that endures the passing of time ... like Williams’ Superman and Steve Rogers himself !
This is one of those movies that you have to watch more than once---for it to creep up on you how good it is. Kinda like Iron Man II. Captain America is an excellent movie.
Lets see:
Unbreakable shield
Enhanced physical speed and strength
Master strategist
Can hold his own against the frigging Hulk
Anyone who can do the last is pretty good.
BEST MUSIC TO STUDY TO! best!
Love this score so much..."I can swim, Go Get em" Cap!
I kind of wished that in the movie Cap had taken part in the D-Day invasion. That was probably the biggest day for the US in the war.
***** He sent the dancers back on stage like a champ.
This is perfect. It is exactly the arrangement that I have been searching for here on TH-cam! Thank you for sharing this masterpiece.
Cheers!
Two great movies composed by Alan Silvstri this one and Marvel's The Avengers
So inspiring...
this is one of the best suite
Did anyone else shed a tear when they saw this movie and when you see cap in the avengers? I cried when i saw him punching that thing and his theme was playing. I was so proud.
I feel like I'm on the Soarin' Over California ride at California Adventure every time I hear this!
Barely 20secs in and i'm.already smiling. Love it. And the film
fantastic suite masterpiece!!!! silvestri genius
The best Avengers
Listen to this music while playing Call of Duty...intense.
Steve Rogers is the opposite of what Call of Duty stands for. Steve R. stands for righteousness and honor. In Call of Duty its about killing as much people as possible and seeing killing as Sport.
4:09 my fave!!! 10:40 ♥️😊🥰 11:52 12:49
After Endgame, I keep comeback for this soundtrack, really miss him. Not just a symbol of America, but free soul and unbreakable heart.
Did you notice that the theme shows up when cap gets his shield back and when he’s old man cap?
@@alexpollock6932 Absolutely, very touching, i smiled in the dark like mad man.
this song is so patriotic it makes me proud and also makes me cry inside
I agree w/your post---more people should take another look at it!
just listen to the avengers theme. THAT is powerful music.
This song makes me want to hug America.
Heil Hydra !!! In all seriousness though, great film. Love Captain America
Yes, he does sound quite unbelievably happy.
Outstanding score. Just wonderful.
I suppose this film is so so and so favourite in the countries of the middle east.
10:35
Re-used in Endgame movie, it's TV spot and in TFATWS episodes is the best thing to have happened to a theme..❤️
best movie comic ever!
Best movie ever.
i look forward to capt america 2:the winter soldier.....go get em cap+bucky!!!!!
The way the song starts it reminded me of the star wars...who agrees?
Best superhero ever!
Awesome suite btw :)
epic
Thank you so much!
Great music from a rousing film, but not the best for a physical-therapy workout...you can forget that you're not Steve Rogers, and end up hurting yourself...AGAIN...
perfecta sin duda

There's no such thing as punching too many Nazis.
utubrGaming I never spoke about punching Nazis.
Drace90
Wrong. Power Rangers look like American Superheroes.
VunderGuy That does not really make sense.
I listen to this suite every time I get to read the latest captain america issue :) makes that shit epic....omfg....what happened to ian (for those who read cap also) HOLYFUCK, just like that....
:'D
Can't wait too >w
Both written by Alan Silverstri or whatever his name is. Great composer
He also wrote the back to the future score
going to see endgame now. had to listen to this first
I love how Silvestri plays this when cap gets his shield back
It is a combination of tracks edited from 1m1alt1 Logos and 6m10 Passage of Time. The corresponding tracks on the EMI release are 1. Captain America Main Titles and 24. Passage Of Time.
this is the only avenger movie i havent seen.
Alright and yay another who understands :D
one thing..cap keep the hood ..mask oln!!!!
Steve Rogers reminds me of Steve from Blues Clues..
If I convinced my band director to get this sheet music for band EHRMERGERD
Yes I agree with that
-cries because Bucky okay cool-
It's not the flashiness of his powers that makes Cap a superhero.
Just because he shows up in the Avengers doesn't mean he'll be in it. Probably a lead up into the Guardians of the Galaxy but hey who knows you're probably right.
just ignore him bro, huge cap fan here myself
Almost. Dang it
WW2 uniform still the most bad ass until now.
Glinkling Smearnops I mean captain's WW2 uniform. But you're right, french people have style.
damn dawg !! u cut the cap's march off too soon !!! it makes the whole movie !!!
Cap lies on the wire and lets the other guy crawl over him.
Best of the Marvel films... just sayin' :)
You should add the trailer to Winter Soldier in another edit
Cpatain America the FIRST avenger

I think it might be the Horns....Im not sure tho
After a little research I think these are horns with trombones together playing in an octave.
10:30 "YOU ARE FAILING!!!!!"
one word: SUPERHEROES. Got me point?
In the film, never. Steve Rogers is still a great guy there.
In the comics? Avengers vs. X-Men.
coming 2014...captain america:the winter soldier
At 4:10 what song is that exactly? I can't find it anywhere on its own
Its already been announced
