This is my favourite epic music score hands down! This score has it all. Sadness, coolness, epic, triumph - goosebumps all the way. You feel like you are fighting in a battle for your loved ones. And it fits so amazingly well in to the 1st Civil War trailer, which makes it the best MCU trailer ever (perhaps even the best trailer overall).

The red on Captain America's shield and uniform compliments the red of Iron Man's armour. Then I notice for the first time not just the blue light glowing as usual from Iron Man's chest, but also from multiple places where the armour's joints expose the suit within. This is a new feature in the Iron Man armour not present prior to Civil War (at least not as prominently) and initially I couldn't understand the reason for it - then I realised; from a conceptual, metaphorically visual standpoint it compliments the blue in Captain America's uniform, and like Yin and Yang their respective reflections of each other establishes a balance between the conflict. They are two extremes of the same whole that have been forced so far apart, the only way they can be reunited is through collision. But the realisation dawns too late; they no longer wish to pull apart, but the tension that has built up must go somewhere. They are propelled towards each other by forces now beyond their ability to control or withstand, compelled to see this fight to its end, like a skier in midair with no control over the speed of descent. Their fists are no longer poised to attack, but raised in regretful self-defence. There is a part of them that doesn't wish to fight, forced to suppress those doubts that warned them their opponent deserves to win. There is a part of them that knows, with each blow they land on their enemy they break their own skin.
I love how this song is 60 beats per minute. Every second that passes, you feel the increasing intensity of the song as more instruments are added. This would be a great countdown song for the midnight premiere.
2016 has been great with comic book movies. Civil War, Deadpool, Batman v Superman, X-Men Apocalypse and Suicide Squad I can't wait for Doctor Strange.
Tyrant King Rocks as usual? The dark knight trilogy was one of the most successful around 😂 watchmen was also very successful, as was the superman series, it's only now that the extended universe was made. Turned out to be some weeping angel from '36 trying to grab onto Howard Stark for whatever reason. Honestly I'm just glad to be out of there. Went back with Ashildr a few months ago though, she'd been in London during the war the first time around. We spent the entire day trying to avoid the angels, there was a LARGE infestation in the 30s and 40s let me tell you.

I remember like it was yesterday. 2016. The trailer came out in late 2015. “You can’t punch your way out of this…..” I must have watched it about 100x. That’s when the MCU was at its pinnacle. The buzz was in the air. The electricity couldn’t be measured. The whole world was into it. You’d walk into Target and all you seen was superhero logo t-shirts. Every gym you walked into sold shaker cups with superhero logos on them. I had midnight premier tickets for Civil War at the Navy Pier iMax. My Gf at the time along with various friends and colleagues met for dinner and drinks beforehand discussing and speculating what we were about to see. Even the women wore Capt or Spiderman t-shirts. I played this Sharks Don’t Sleep over and over and over again on the way to the theater in a continuous loop. I’d crank the volume a little when the music would peak then slightly lower it visualizing the trailer in my mind scene per scene. It wasn’t even that long ago. Now the MCU is a disgrace a fallen ruined franchise since woke wankerism and liberal nonsense infected it. It’ll never be as magical as it was circa 2012 - 2019. I actually hope it all goes away.

The buzz was in the air.
The electricity couldn’t be measured.
The whole world was into it.
You’d walk into Target and all you seen was superhero logo t-shirts.
Every gym you walked into sold shaker cups with superhero logos on them.
I had midnight premier tickets for Civil War at the Navy Pier iMax.
My Gf at the time along with various friends and colleagues met for dinner and drinks beforehand discussing and speculating what we were about to see.
Even the women wore Capt or Spiderman t-shirts.
I played this Sharks Don’t Sleep over and over and over again on the way to the theater in a continuous loop.
I’d crank the volume a little when the music would peak then slightly lower it visualizing the trailer in my mind scene per scene.
It wasn’t even that long ago.
Now the MCU is a disgrace a fallen ruined franchise since woke wankerism and liberal nonsense infected it.
It’ll never be as magical as it was circa 2012 - 2019.
I actually hope it all goes away.
