Hey peeps, just wanna say thanks for all the listens-- you've been keeping it alive over the last 13 years. There's a small chance this may eventually be taken down due to the varying copyright strikes it's gotten over the years, so letting y'all know if you don't see this anymore, the powers-that-be have finally won. Cheers my dudes and dudettes.
I listen to this soundtrack often and find it fun and fascinating. The composer has done such a wonderful job of the music I can see the scenes in my mind as I listen!
I still have no clue why actually, it is such a great movie and it actually has everything it needs to be a great movie, only that it is original and fun. I guess there wasn't enouh marketing probably, because everyone I've showed it to so far really liked but had also never even heard of it...
This is my absolute favorite action, comedy, and romance movie ever! It's got everything: adventure, love, an amazing narrator, and the best/cutest ending in the world!
Everyyyy time I hear this all I can think of is Charlie Cox looking up and going “sHE CaN’t CRoSs tHe WaLL” and running faster then I’ve ever seen anyone run 😂😂
I remember a year or two ago when my Grandpa mentioned this movie. Me and my siblings expressions:ಠ_ಠ Generally WTF is Stardust? So my grandpa, appalled that we hadn't seen such an excellent movie, showed it to us. We loved it, and then we had another amazing movie in our lives
I think I've commented this before and I will comment it again, but you really did a phenomenal job putting this score together. The transitions are seamless and ten years ago I thought this was part of the soundtrack. Amazing work! (Will listen to this for ten more years.)
I watched this movie years ago and found this suite and i still listen to it from time to time! Its an amazing soundtrack in general but hearing it all together like this always takes me back to the first time watching the movie and being absolutely amazed by it
Mine are: of course "Septimus" (apparently the only really appreciated one, if you go by the amazon music popularity statistics, where all songs have like 10% or so while this one has 100% xD) and also "Shooting Star", "Cap'n at the Helm" and "Coronation" as well. xD It's just such an awesome score. :)
This has been my favorite movie since I first saw it, and the music always excites me because it's so perfect for every scene! I particularly like the medley you made, it all flows together well and it isn't sloppily edited like some medleys I've heard. Well done~
This has literally been my favorite movie since I was a kid! This is great for listening to when you just want to chill or write. Great work. My favorite out of all the songs on the original soundtrack was "Zombie fight" when Tristan is fighting in the witches layer.
I'm replying so that you know you are heard, and I appreciate the love. I'm literally in my 30s now and still come back to read the comments when a new one comes in.
This is an excellent musical piece and the movie is entertaining, plus it was about a young man who wound up going from a weak boy to a man trying to save his love from a witch.
yes. amazing actors, WELL CASTED, great story with NO AGENDA, great setting, great production value, ORIGINAL. one would think it's not rocket science.
Azulgrad oh. i did not know. that is a shame. well since the first is awesome. one of the best fantasy movies ive seen. if the same peep made a sequel. it cant turn out that bad. but i see what you mean. my point i rather seen more of this world then other "book-made-into-movies" nuff said.
I can recommend you to read other Neil Gaiman books, they are really enjoyable, even more enjoyable than this movie from my opinion. I would suggest you to start with 'Neverwhere' similar to Stardust I guess. Then continue it with the Anansi Brothers, and American Gods. From my opinion these are the books that a post-modern fantasy/fairy tale fan MUST read.
And it's music like this which I consider real music, none of this namby pamby generic crap that we get nowadays, pop and RnB are so overrated. Film music is the best in my opinion
I'm scouting around yt to add to my 'movie soundtrack' playlist and clicked on this video to have a listen. Is this a good film to see? Only recently Ive become interested in watching movies again since coming across "The Drop" 4 months ago and my favorite actor Tom Hardy. Much Love
i have the feeling like i know that song "Septimus" from somewhere else. i have it in my head. just a little different to the film version. with filling EXACTLY the gaps of epicness the soundtrack is missing at certain points but i cant find it :/

Thank you so much for keeping this online all these years! I keep coming back to it, and am always so pleasantly surprised that it's still around.
Such an underrated movie. We need to show it to the next generation and keep it alive.
I'm in highschool and so happy I've discovered it!
Supported!
1000000 share ok

Katie Vogel Totally feel the same way, and did you know that its based off A BOOK???? Stardust by Neil Gaiman
Emi M yeah. I still need to read the book. I have it at my house, I just haven't read it yet...
Everyyyy time I hear this all I can think of is Charlie Cox looking up and going “sHE CaN’t CRoSs tHe WaLL” and running faster then I’ve ever seen anyone run 😂😂

I guess I am 12 years late to the hype but thats just amazing. When I hear this theme I just dream away! Nice Job!
I'm replying so that you know you are heard, and I appreciate the love. I'm literally in my 30s now and still come back to read the comments when a new one comes in.

My favorite part of the film is when Yvaine whispers to Tristan, “SHINE!” and the music and scene that follows.

You are not alone :d
This is an excellent musical piece and the movie is entertaining, plus it was about a young man who wound up going from a weak boy to a man trying to save his love from a witch.
Same here love it
As a guy, you should probably feel entitled to like anything you want and say fuck you to anybody that tell you otherwise. Same goes for girls ;)
why should you feel ashamed? D:
An amzing film.

excellent job Harrison.
Looked it up as there is a Visions of Atlantis CD 'Delta' with music very reminiscent of the soundtrack in a couple of bars.
Beautiful, thanks for posting
Very good....well done!
beautiful!seamless! great suite!!! =-)
shame they did not make a sequel. i love this movie
and i :D
It is based on a book by Neil Gaiman and it does not have a sequel. Hollywood would definitelly fuck it up.

Kacumoto93 thank you. i appreciate that! but i am NOT a book person! *more about that some other time.
Very well done, indeed! Goes immediately to "Favourites" :)
Nicely done....
The best part of the movie is hands down when Charlie Cox realizes she can’t cross the wall
That running scene !!
And of course right before that when he makes his former bully basically piss his pants XD
@@nobodywilleverknow8371 Henry Cavill lol
@@cs1-59indulekham.r.4 still blows my mind that’s Henry Cavill
one word............BRAVO!
is it sad that i know which song goes with what scene? :)
I'd say the opposite xD
Nicely done!

+MrTardis11 true but alex clare is an irish r&b god
Don't get me wrong I totally respect r and b artists and the fans of them but I suppose its just not my type of music.
***** no i get you. metal is more my deal than pop, and the stuff youtube suggests in the r&b department usually aren't to my tastes. nw :)
:) Fair play yeah everyone has their tastes
Film music IS the best!! It gives me that feeling in my chest that no other music can provide
Good stuff.
GOOOOOOOD
Let the anger flow through you.

How do you actually create music suites? Thank you for some explanation :)
I love Stardust
i have the feeling like i know that song "Septimus" from somewhere else. i have it in my head. just a little different to the film version. with filling EXACTLY the gaps of epicness the soundtrack is missing at certain points but i cant find it :/
