It is absolutely haunting looking back on this beautiful track knowing how brilliantly this was paid tribute in Ragnarok at Thor's coronation only for him to now have been refused to remain King by Disney MCU in favour of 'King' Valkryie the enslaver who twice refused to help Thor escape Sakaar and help their people until he finally escaped the Grandmaster (who she was ready to leave Thor prisoner of) and now he's been entirely character assassinated into a bumbling airhead, a walking, talking catastrophe of endless goofy, cringe jokes as a moron that resembles about 5% of the God of Thunder we loved in Thor 1, Infinity War or Ragnarok.
Hate to be the "told you so" person but this is entirely thanks to Ragnarok itself and some of us tried to tell y'all. Ragnarok started the meaningless jokes and character assassination.
