Notes about the video: 1. I cut out a LOT of unnecessary explanation for the story elements. So if something doesn't make sense, just ask, I have an extremely overcomplicated answer already. 2. The reason this video is so long compared to the previous 'What if?' is because there's a lot less to logically assume from an Enclave victory than a mutant army victory. Where the Master would have to then conquer the rest of world if he won, the Enclave simply kill everything when they win. So I had to make up a lot more stuff to happen in this episode as opposed to last episode. 3. I use a lot of non-canon stuff in this video like: Portland being a hellscape - Fallout The Frontier Bloomfield space center - Van Buren The Existence of an east coast Enclave during Fallout 2 - Possible, but not confirmed by canon 4. People keep asking about a part 2. It's not impossible for there to be a part 2 but, the story was meant to be concluded at the end, there's not much else that would happen. I may do a short follow up tying up any loose ends (yes that includes the Institute, stop asking) and covering any interesting suggestions if anyone wants to put any forward.
Question: Why wouldn't the Enclave make contact with Big MT? As for the Sierra Madre I'm sure the Enclave would kill (quite literally) for the matter processing units and hologram tech, yes the ghost people and the cloud may be a problem but they could just leave Frank Horrigan and a heavily armed squad there for a week or two. The matter processing units would be perfect for helping supply remote outposts and early settlements without GECKs, the gold would be added to the treasury and the holograms could be an infinant supply of soldiers and laborer's
@@Jaeger_Bishop America is a big place, most places aren't going to be found unless you're are looking for them, or they are a massive lightshow in the desert like Vegas. The smog cloud would completely obscure the Sierra Madre from vision.

The only counter I would have is that The Enclave could find the Sierra Madre the same way the courier did, pick up a strange broadcast , probably mistake it for something like a second Vegas or if the Sierra Madre was in the Enclave's records, they could see it as a target to search for pre-war tech. Though the counter to that would be, it may just not be a high enough priority that they would ever stumble onto it before everything else happens. This scenario could easily be incorporated into an already made Fallout mod for Hearts of Iron IV. But yes, a true Fallout game with this storyline would be Legendary.
Maybe an RTS game similar to Tiberian Sun a war between a Guerilla/Subversive Brotherhood of Steel (Wasteland auxiliaries and more convetional Power armor and Vehicles with their East coast Enclave Allies as Elite units) and a Powerful Enclave (Strong Powerhouses and Advanced weaponry)
This isnt a better story then what Black isle which is now Obsidian could create they are the fathers of the ORIGINAL FALLOUT so hes adding to their vision not really creating any of this out of thin air hes working with assets and information from the 1st and 2nd game which were the best games story wise considering the company who birthed the game was writing it, when they came to fallout 3 they had to sell to Bethesda, Black isle was in a bad way financially and basically Bethesda swooped in like a vulture picking at an animals carcass and bought the fallout IP so that's when we got screwed, Van Buren in what could have been.......

the weird thing about vegas lore is the NCR supposedly has rail lines and concrete bunkers. quarry junction is a revitalized quarry that's producing real building stones... yet the game is populated by dank ruins and tin shacks. i would love to see the 1940s normandy-esque bunkers that were supposed to be underway along the colorado... even if they were Potemkin forts where those who defended them were starving and low on ammo.
An RTS here would be great ala Age of Empires, Enclave Eastern, Vegas and Brotherhood play as a more Balanced faction who field Frontiersmen, more common Power armor and Security bots (with the excemption of late game Eastern Enclave units), Trident is a Powerhouse faction weilding more advanced and destructive weapons than the other factions and the Institute plays as a Subversive faction with infiltrator droids and Teleportation tech.

That was perfect...and quite realistic I'd say. The larger factions were always prone to infighting so an Enclave Civil War with the Brotherhood joining in on the "Anti-government" side is fitting.

The Enclave winning FO2 means a ravage of all tech/advanced in the wasteland like the Brotherhood did, it would be 100% possible for the Enclave to take Big Mt, and convert it. I do like the idea of them taking over, cuz the faster and rapid develop of tech with more blueprints, resources ecc. But yes, the wasteland in general would be confused and with some hairbrows raised, the expanding of the Enclave should have been rather than immediate force, with more dialoque like the Romans did.

I was going to cover big mt, then I forgot, then I didn't care because it's entirely possible they wouldn't find it for ages and it wouldn't really impact the story.
I hope that at the end of the Fallout franchise the Enclave will win, rule over the US, do expeditions to other continents and make a peace treaty with Mr.House to build up a new space force.

I reckon House would probably attempt to get a radar station or other sensor system online shortly after the airborne toxin hit to see if anyone was still alive to exploit, and after realizing everyone was dead would probably attempt to scour the wastes for the chip with the securitrons since that would be the only option left to him, whether these attempts would bear fruit is entirely up to speculation but if successful, would make House a potential force to be reckoned with once the Enclave come knocking.

Wholesome enclave ending? This was so well done definitely earned a sub from me. This would be a super interesting alt history to follow in a game if they ever wanted to get more bleak. You can have super mutants survive from one of the East coast vaults. And you could play as one of the few who were naturally immune to the virus and had to watch everyone die.
This is really well written. The themes and values of the Enclave are well portrayed. The details of the story both new and taken from existing lore are excellent.
So... would this mean that the Sole Survivor would wake up from their slumber in this new America? And would the Institute be discovered and become American citizens as well?
The institute would either hide forever or get pulverized the minute they step out of their hole, because believe me they would pick a fight. The sole survivor would eventually be discovered by the new Americans and would almost certainly be welcomed into the organization.
Sole Survivor (assuming Male) would be worth gold to the Enclave who seeks Old America, and someone who is a decorated war hero and “pureblooded” who experienced Old America military life would provide a lot of insight and historical record to the Enclave as well as obvious propaganda use.

I think the Enclave winning could mean a couple things. Mostly depending on the ideology of the current leaders. Like if they decide that a Colonel Autumn style mindset is better or if they go whole hog with the Richardson/Eden plan. It really comes down to if they go into genocidal purification or of they end up actually rebuilding. Also the Frontier bit was beautiful LONG LIVE THE SNEEDCLAVE

I'll also completely agree with the last DLC putting a backstory on you being a pretty crappy thing. New Vega's big advantage for a long while was the PC being a very open slate. A shame Lonesome Road made it so canonically the Courier had been in the profession for years.
Honestly, the Enclave's victory and the Unity's success would be the two biggest timeline changes possible (as long as we don't change anything about prewar or the war itself)

I don't know, the idea was just: What if the Enclave won in Fallout 3? This what if genre is so broad I can basically do anything, so I haven't put too much thought into it yet.

They are united now but there's still parts of the BOS that would hate synths i guess.
With all that Geck can do - transform surrounding matter into energy and recomposing it - in theory it could actually make more Gecks, giving anyone who possessed a single Geck in theory potentially infinite number of Gecks.

@@TheOmegaInitiative There's a mod for fnv called for the enclave which basically adds an enclave questline to the game , and it's very similar to the story of the video , two enclave factions fighting while you have the default nv factions going in as well. Richardson elite (bad guys) vs the normal enclave (the guys you work for). And funny enough , there's a character called Dornan Jr that assists you when you're attacking the Richardson elite's final base and will call you a maggot if you don't follow orders. The final boss is sup to be another mutant in power armor like frank horrigan except he wears modified mk2 instead of mk1 . If you have some free time , you should try the mod , it's pretty nice. The voice acting can get little shitty doe.
@@TheOmegaInitiative Dornan is an NCO. He would serve with distinction as first sergeant at Navarro and then probably retire if all goes well. Dornan doesn't have the makings of an officer, after all he works for a living.

I always wondered how the enclave would fare with its plans if the master won fallout 1 meaning the west coast is run by unity. This also means no BOS detachment follows the fleeing super mutants east leaving the calculator active and setting up a 3 way clusterfuck of fallout antagonists
I feel the Midwest Brotherhood of Steel would have been way more influencetal than the Westcoast Brotherhood. They were deployed before the events of Fallout 2, they canonically have Airships, and with out Wasteland interference they would have been unopposed in the Midwest Region.
I am insanely curious about what what you would do with interactions between the Enclave and the Institute, I could see it very easily going both good or disastrous for everyone
Like I could absolutely see the enclave and institute getting along really well but also see them butting heads in the worst ways, like the enclave will probably want oversight over theur projects and who knows what CIT will think of that, and who knows what the enclave would think of synths, although they would probably love the new slave population
I think the Enclave and The Institute wouldn't get along as long as father is with the Institute they would but heads at all terms but if father was let's say executed or don't know kills himself maybe The Enclave and The Institute could get along the Institute could do some science for the enclave and if their science gets out of hand the enclave would hate them
I don't really know if we should consider the institute canon. FO4 just brings the quality of writing down so far. Like, the biggest problem with addressing the institute in something like this is that they literally do not have a written motivation. They did initially in the design documents, but some of the higher ups didn't get the memo apparently, because they wrote a bunch of shit that contradicted their intended motivation, and they decided to solve the conflicting information by just removing any information that directly states anything about why they're doing what they're doing. The Institute as presented in Fallout 4 is literally an unfinished faction. And the little snippets and hints that are left in game directly contradict each other. Its just a mess.
Imagine if the Chosen One actually stood guard as exactly he/she was told to do by Sgt Dornen, being overwhelmed by his pure patrioticism and awe-terrifying presence.

The Enclave in the capital wasteland are the remnants of the west coast one, but at that point in the lore the enclave in Appalachia are most likely extinct. I wonder if the enclave in Chicago were there before fallout 2 or also from the west coast remnants

Yeah the president on the Apalachicola enclave will probably still try to "wipe out china" dispite everyone in china probably bring dead at that point so the whole civil war and the entire mess will probably still happen although the spread of the virus will most likely be slower since there's a lack of human host to spread it. This is fantastic, Augustus Autumn became one of my favorite FO3 characters after I got past the fact he's the guy who caused Dad's death. He wanted to rebuild America and wanted to use project purity for its intended purpose and not use the FEV. His death at the end of this story gives him the heros end he deserves, rebuilding America in the process. Fantastic work!! This story is better than Fallout 4, you should be writing Fallout 5 man
If Fallout 5 was as forced to be pro Enclave to the point you could only join them just as much Fallout 3 was that way with the BOS I would not be disappointed. I actually want a game where the Enclave is the ending.
It was a prewar experiment to make soldier's immune to radiation. It was the master that spread it with the believe that it's the next step in our evolution. It was also like the discovery of penicillin and it was completely by accident

@@Dorkeydaze well, if it was between the inner enclave war and we could choose who we helped while doing various types of missions for the side we choose, or even potentially helping the Brotherhood at some point, I think that would be more interesting for a fallout game.
@@As567na I think the enclave if they used the FEV would essentially colonize America pretty fast, and would simply use the vault dwellers as a new population source. Potentially across the United States in fallout there’s probably close to 100,000 pre war Americans in the vaults and in our real world people have up to 5 children in sub sharan Africa; imagine the United States with endless pre war loot, no monsters and millions of acres of vacant land. Essentially if the enclave ever won there’s no reason to assume fallout wouldn’t be like playing civilization. What makes fallout intriguing is the uniqueness of the factions, the risk of the wasteland and the struggle over philosophy and the FALLOUT of humanity and human behavior/philosophy. I think it would be best to introduce a new off shoot of the enclave in the next fallout but that won’t be for years, but we know the enclave have a presence in Chicago and that the brotherhood canonically did send airships but contact was lost with them, and that fallout brotherhood of steel in non canon but that doesn’t the brotherhood doesn’t have a presence there, a game set in the Midwest could be interesting for that reason alone.
@@As567na Though if I had the IP I would set the next fallout in Washington/Oregon. I would make the cannon ending to new Vegas the house/independent ending with Nevada being a buffer zone between the legion and new California. I would make the NCR desperate for new resources and so they expand out to Oregon and Washington desperate for food, water and sources for economy prosperity under the drain of new Vegas and the shrinking economy in California. They would come across a crusader state like the tectonic knights out in the forest who use T-45 PA like mid-evil knight armor and who use swords the length of bikes as there primary weapons. The main plot would revolve around rather or not the player aids the crusaders or the decaying NCR.
I find it pretty funny that we get this nice happy-ish ending, where America is rebuilt and there’s a bright future but you (the chosen one) gets killed and everyone else you play with in fallout 2 is forgotten about at the beginning of the video 😂

Yeah I really don’t know where I’d put the institute. I don’t think they would have revealed themselves until after the war, if at all. I’m assuming that synths would be put to work as the slave labor to begin the full rebuild process should the institute allow itself to fall into enclave hands.
@@andyn46 I guess Enclave would realize the use they can provide as slave labor and the masses will divide once more on if the synths are sentient or not. There isn’t a railroad considering their ancestors got gassed. The synths would in fact carry on as the institute did get a non genetically altered child. I assume the only ones to die would be any institute personnel who have gone to field tasks and this would be the new punishment other than banishment. My new question comes now in that wouldn’t Shawn and the sole survivor immediately die upon release from the pods?
@@eustacebagge5873 I think anyone underneath the ruins would have been safe from a gas attack. Shawn doesn’t step out into the wasteland for the first time until the end of Fallout 4 so he should be good. As far as the Sole Survivor goes, there’s a lot of possibilities I can think of. Shawn could have retrieved him once the Enclave presence in the area was known, and potentially used by the institute as a negotiator due to him being a soldier before the Great War if they wanted to create a truce. Having a member of the old world speaking to them would be a wet dream for Enclave higher ups
Well the secret service wouldn't be an organization capable of warfare, they would have likely merged with the Enclave when they returned to West Virginia though.

The Frontier dev team is not that bad, they had some bad one among them, but technically speaking thw frontier it's incredible. (plus if they will do a mod they basically only need to write dialogues. The problem in the frontier was weird ass shit, but with this the story is already done.

You have a passion. A magnificent trait. Don't ever lose it and keep going, because this is by far the greatest alternate history Fallout tale in existence.
I will keep insisting on this until someone actually makes a game. The way you have the Enclave win is where you start out in a game as a major Enclave cell and your character is sent out into the wastes to scout them out. In part this is done because there are factions in the Enclave - all to some extent or another want to wipe the slate clean but some want to find out if there is anything worth saving. Through your choices you can completely turn on the Enclave, side with 'annihilationists' in the Enclave, or do a number of quests that cause moderates to win out - perhaps even uniting the Brotherhood and the Enclave - and the game in that ending would end with a vow that reunited the Enclave - not just the US government will restore order to the wastes - take back what is rightfully those of every decent human with fire and sword. All monsters were will be exterminated, the land will be green again.
@@jackvernian7779 My point about that is that it is a way of having an outcome where the Enclave could win - and thus reestablishing them as a threat - without it being game over for the the game world and where they represent a strand of thought all players to some extent subscribe to 'kill all the monsters! They are scary!' Which may not be entirely the best choice but it is a very understandable choice. It would also mean that if the Enclave won in this way it would progress the game world and solidify some choices to be made down the road about what kind of world and government does a recovering USA want. Does it prize order and security (United Enclave of BoS and Enclave), does it prize a mix of security with some democratic accountability (New Cali Republic) or does it want everyone to be free ranging libertarians?

Enclave and mr house working together is admittedly an awesome concept and sadly not an option in new Vegas. Thanks for your take on this. Also, I have a concept I think you might find interesting: what if the enclave remnants allied with the Midwest BOS after their employ of super mutants, ghouls and Deathclaws in their ranks? I can see a decent sized group of Enclave making their way to the east coast and they come across the Midwest chapter. They notice their armor is similar to theirs and instead decide to compromise with them as they have resources and research to better aid the Midwest chapter and their coalition of mutants. I can see power armored super mutants, vastly more intelligent death claws and possibly more competent ghouls getting modified radiation absorption power armor to heal them in combat, insuring longer fighting capability. The Midwest B.O.S. Coalition makes their way to the east coast to Washington, contacting the East coast BOS chapter. Seeing the effectiveness of the coalition, the east coast chapter allows them to aid in the effort to fight back the east coast super mutants, thus making the brotherhood a stronger force in that region, even knowledgeable of Enclave tactics when the east coast enclave eventually makes contact.
Excellent video, kept me glued to it the entire time, honestly, the narration is impeccable, and the story has really nice twists. I would love to see one of those with the premise of a Enclave ressurgence from Chicago, can't wait for the next video! Long live the Enclave, long live America, Semper Fi!

This is an absolutely "What If?" situation! Sadly it doesn't surprise me with the internal struggle from what we've seen in all these Fallout games. Honestly I would like to see the Enclave gain a sizable foothold in a Fallout game. Who knows how things would change? Keep up the amazing videos!

There could be too scenario of Enclave-NCR unification. Becouse you have a side quest i dont know how its named but, you need to kill 2 NCR Politicians some Vice President and some other politician. And in ending of Fallout 2 there is that after some guy got the control over NCR, he made it military dictatorship and it became home for the Enclave remnants
I don't think so. The Enclave are strictly against cooperation with wasteland humans. And the NCR is all wasteland humans, with their minor mutations and all. For this scenario to work, both the NCR has to have a major political shift and the Enclave as well which is just impossible.

Honestly that was amazing I would more than welcome a part two/expansion to the lore perhaps a longer video with more detail. Obviously a tall order but I haven’t been as excited about anything fallout since I played vegas. Your deep knowledge of the lore fits well with what we understand of the Canon, and most people myself included would simply love to see either a slightly prolonged conclusion or a continuation in general. Not entirely necessary, and yes likely way more speculative, but your speculation seems to be what has your audience enthralled. Just something to consider for any future video.

Notes about the video:
1. I cut out a LOT of unnecessary explanation for the story elements. So if something doesn't make sense, just ask, I have an extremely overcomplicated answer already.
2. The reason this video is so long compared to the previous 'What if?' is because there's a lot less to logically assume from an Enclave victory than a mutant army victory. Where the Master would have to then conquer the rest of world if he won, the Enclave simply kill everything when they win. So I had to make up a lot more stuff to happen in this episode as opposed to last episode.
3. I use a lot of non-canon stuff in this video like:
Portland being a hellscape - Fallout The Frontier
Bloomfield space center - Van Buren
The Existence of an east coast Enclave during Fallout 2 - Possible, but not confirmed by canon
4. People keep asking about a part 2. It's not impossible for there to be a part 2 but, the story was meant to be concluded at the end, there's not much else that would happen. I may do a short follow up tying up any loose ends (yes that includes the Institute, stop asking) and covering any interesting suggestions if anyone wants to put any forward.
Question: Why wouldn't the Enclave make contact with Big MT? As for the Sierra Madre I'm sure the Enclave would kill (quite literally) for the matter processing units and hologram tech, yes the ghost people and the cloud may be a problem but they could just leave Frank Horrigan and a heavily armed squad there for a week or two.
The matter processing units would be perfect for helping supply remote outposts and early settlements without GECKs, the gold would be added to the treasury and the holograms could be an infinant supply of soldiers and laborer's

The only counter I would have is that The Enclave could find the Sierra Madre the same way the courier did, pick up a strange broadcast , probably mistake it for something like a second Vegas or if the Sierra Madre was in the Enclave's records, they could see it as a target to search for pre-war tech.
Though the counter to that would be, it may just not be a high enough priority that they would ever stumble onto it before everything else happens.

the weird thing about vegas lore is the NCR supposedly has rail lines and concrete bunkers. quarry junction is a revitalized quarry that's producing real building stones... yet the game is populated by dank ruins and tin shacks. i would love to see the 1940s normandy-esque bunkers that were supposed to be underway along the colorado... even if they were Potemkin forts where those who defended them were starving and low on ammo.

An RTS here would be great ala Age of Empires, Enclave Eastern, Vegas and Brotherhood play as a more Balanced faction who field Frontiersmen, more common Power armor and Security bots (with the excemption of late game Eastern Enclave units), Trident is a Powerhouse faction weilding more advanced and destructive weapons than the other factions and the Institute plays as a Subversive faction with infiltrator droids and Teleportation tech.

The Enclave winning FO2 means a ravage of all tech/advanced in the wasteland like the Brotherhood did, it would be 100% possible for the Enclave to take Big Mt, and convert it.
I do like the idea of them taking over, cuz the faster and rapid develop of tech with more blueprints, resources ecc.
But yes, the wasteland in general would be confused and with some hairbrows raised, the expanding of the Enclave should have been rather than immediate force, with more dialoque like the Romans did.

I was going to cover big mt, then I forgot, then I didn't care because it's entirely possible they wouldn't find it for ages and it wouldn't really impact the story.
I hope that at the end of the Fallout franchise the Enclave will win, rule over the US, do expeditions to other continents and make a peace treaty with Mr.House to build up a new space force.

I reckon House would probably attempt to get a radar station or other sensor system online shortly after the airborne toxin hit to see if anyone was still alive to exploit, and after realizing everyone was dead would probably attempt to scour the wastes for the chip with the securitrons since that would be the only option left to him, whether these attempts would bear fruit is entirely up to speculation but if successful, would make House a potential force to be reckoned with once the Enclave come knocking.

This is really well written. The themes and values of the Enclave are well portrayed. The details of the story both new and taken from existing lore are excellent.
What if there is an Enclave counterpart in Europe or Asia?
So... would this mean that the Sole Survivor would wake up from their slumber in this new America? And would the Institute be discovered and become American citizens as well?
The institute would either hide forever or get pulverized the minute they step out of their hole, because believe me they would pick a fight. The sole survivor would eventually be discovered by the new Americans and would almost certainly be welcomed into the organization.
Sole Survivor (assuming Male) would be worth gold to the Enclave who seeks Old America, and someone who is a decorated war hero and “pureblooded” who experienced Old America military life would provide a lot of insight and historical record to the Enclave as well as obvious propaganda use.

I think the Enclave winning could mean a couple things. Mostly depending on the ideology of the current leaders. Like if they decide that a Colonel Autumn style mindset is better or if they go whole hog with the Richardson/Eden plan. It really comes down to if they go into genocidal purification or of they end up actually rebuilding.

I'll also completely agree with the last DLC putting a backstory on you being a pretty crappy thing. New Vega's big advantage for a long while was the PC being a very open slate. A shame Lonesome Road made it so canonically the Courier had been in the profession for years.

@@TheOmegaInitiative There's a mod for fnv called for the enclave which basically adds an enclave questline to the game , and it's very similar to the story of the video , two enclave factions fighting while you have the default nv factions going in as well. Richardson elite (bad guys) vs the normal enclave (the guys you work for). And funny enough , there's a character called Dornan Jr that assists you when you're attacking the Richardson elite's final base and will call you a maggot if you don't follow orders. The final boss is sup to be another mutant in power armor like frank horrigan except he wears modified mk2 instead of mk1 . If you have some free time , you should try the mod , it's pretty nice. The voice acting can get little shitty doe.

I always wondered how the enclave would fare with its plans if the master won fallout 1 meaning the west coast is run by unity. This also means no BOS detachment follows the fleeing super mutants east leaving the calculator active and setting up a 3 way clusterfuck of fallout antagonists

I feel the Midwest Brotherhood of Steel would have been way more influencetal than the Westcoast Brotherhood. They were deployed before the events of Fallout 2, they canonically have Airships, and with out Wasteland interference they would have been unopposed in the Midwest Region.

I think the Enclave and The Institute wouldn't get along as long as father is with the Institute they would but heads at all terms but if father was let's say executed or don't know kills himself maybe The Enclave and The Institute could get along the Institute could do some science for the enclave and if their science gets out of hand the enclave would hate them
I don't really know if we should consider the institute canon. FO4 just brings the quality of writing down so far. Like, the biggest problem with addressing the institute in something like this is that they literally do not have a written motivation. They did initially in the design documents, but some of the higher ups didn't get the memo apparently, because they wrote a bunch of shit that contradicted their intended motivation, and they decided to solve the conflicting information by just removing any information that directly states anything about why they're doing what they're doing. The Institute as presented in Fallout 4 is literally an unfinished faction. And the little snippets and hints that are left in game directly contradict each other. Its just a mess.

The Enclave in the capital wasteland are the remnants of the west coast one, but at that point in the lore the enclave in Appalachia are most likely extinct.
I wonder if the enclave in Chicago were there before fallout 2 or also from the west coast remnants

This is fantastic, Augustus Autumn became one of my favorite FO3 characters after I got past the fact he's the guy who caused Dad's death. He wanted to rebuild America and wanted to use project purity for its intended purpose and not use the FEV. His death at the end of this story gives him the heros end he deserves, rebuilding America in the process. Fantastic work!! This story is better than Fallout 4, you should be writing Fallout 5 man
If Fallout 5 was as forced to be pro Enclave to the point you could only join them just as much Fallout 3 was that way with the BOS I would not be disappointed. I actually want a game where the Enclave is the ending.

I think the enclave if they used the FEV would essentially colonize America pretty fast, and would simply use the vault dwellers as a new population source. Potentially across the United States in fallout there’s probably close to 100,000 pre war Americans in the vaults and in our real world people have up to 5 children in sub sharan Africa; imagine the United States with endless pre war loot, no monsters and millions of acres of vacant land. Essentially if the enclave ever won there’s no reason to assume fallout wouldn’t be like playing civilization. What makes fallout intriguing is the uniqueness of the factions, the risk of the wasteland and the struggle over philosophy and the FALLOUT of humanity and human behavior/philosophy. I think it would be best to introduce a new off shoot of the enclave in the next fallout but that won’t be for years, but we know the enclave have a presence in Chicago and that the brotherhood canonically did send airships but contact was lost with them, and that fallout brotherhood of steel in non canon but that doesn’t the brotherhood doesn’t have a presence there, a game set in the Midwest could be interesting for that reason alone.

Though if I had the IP I would set the next fallout in Washington/Oregon. I would make the cannon ending to new Vegas the house/independent ending with Nevada being a buffer zone between the legion and new California. I would make the NCR desperate for new resources and so they expand out to Oregon and Washington desperate for food, water and sources for economy prosperity under the drain of new Vegas and the shrinking economy in California. They would come across a crusader state like the tectonic knights out in the forest who use T-45 PA like mid-evil knight armor and who use swords the length of bikes as there primary weapons. The main plot would revolve around rather or not the player aids the crusaders or the decaying NCR.

Yeah I really don’t know where I’d put the institute. I don’t think they would have revealed themselves until after the war, if at all. I’m assuming that synths would be put to work as the slave labor to begin the full rebuild process should the institute allow itself to fall into enclave hands.
@@andyn46 I guess Enclave would realize the use they can provide as slave labor and the masses will divide once more on if the synths are sentient or not. There isn’t a railroad considering their ancestors got gassed. The synths would in fact carry on as the institute did get a non genetically altered child. I assume the only ones to die would be any institute personnel who have gone to field tasks and this would be the new punishment other than banishment. My new question comes now in that wouldn’t Shawn and the sole survivor immediately die upon release from the pods?
@@eustacebagge5873 I think anyone underneath the ruins would have been safe from a gas attack. Shawn doesn’t step out into the wasteland for the first time until the end of Fallout 4 so he should be good. As far as the Sole Survivor goes, there’s a lot of possibilities I can think of. Shawn could have retrieved him once the Enclave presence in the area was known, and potentially used by the institute as a negotiator due to him being a soldier before the Great War if they wanted to create a truce. Having a member of the old world speaking to them would be a wet dream for Enclave higher ups

You have a passion. A magnificent trait. Don't ever lose it and keep going, because this is by far the greatest alternate history Fallout tale in existence.
I will keep insisting on this until someone actually makes a game. The way you have the Enclave win is where you start out in a game as a major Enclave cell and your character is sent out into the wastes to scout them out. In part this is done because there are factions in the Enclave - all to some extent or another want to wipe the slate clean but some want to find out if there is anything worth saving. Through your choices you can completely turn on the Enclave, side with 'annihilationists' in the Enclave, or do a number of quests that cause moderates to win out - perhaps even uniting the Brotherhood and the Enclave - and the game in that ending would end with a vow that reunited the Enclave - not just the US government will restore order to the wastes - take back what is rightfully those of every decent human with fire and sword. All monsters were will be exterminated, the land will be green again.

@@jackvernian7779 My point about that is that it is a way of having an outcome where the Enclave could win - and thus reestablishing them as a threat - without it being game over for the the game world and where they represent a strand of thought all players to some extent subscribe to 'kill all the monsters! They are scary!' Which may not be entirely the best choice but it is a very understandable choice. It would also mean that if the Enclave won in this way it would progress the game world and solidify some choices to be made down the road about what kind of world and government does a recovering USA want. Does it prize order and security (United Enclave of BoS and Enclave), does it prize a mix of security with some democratic accountability (New Cali Republic) or does it want everyone to be free ranging libertarians?

Enclave and mr house working together is admittedly an awesome concept and sadly not an option in new Vegas. Thanks for your take on this. Also, I have a concept I think you might find interesting: what if the enclave remnants allied with the Midwest BOS after their employ of super mutants, ghouls and Deathclaws in their ranks? I can see a decent sized group of Enclave making their way to the east coast and they come across the Midwest chapter. They notice their armor is similar to theirs and instead decide to compromise with them as they have resources and research to better aid the Midwest chapter and their coalition of mutants. I can see power armored super mutants, vastly more intelligent death claws and possibly more competent ghouls getting modified radiation absorption power armor to heal them in combat, insuring longer fighting capability. The Midwest B.O.S. Coalition makes their way to the east coast to Washington, contacting the East coast BOS chapter. Seeing the effectiveness of the coalition, the east coast chapter allows them to aid in the effort to fight back the east coast super mutants, thus making the brotherhood a stronger force in that region, even knowledgeable of Enclave tactics when the east coast enclave eventually makes contact.
Excellent video, kept me glued to it the entire time, honestly, the narration is impeccable, and the story has really nice twists.
I would love to see one of those with the premise of a Enclave ressurgence from Chicago, can't wait for the next video!

Presumably Autumn Jr. could have skipped the Enclave civil war by transmitting the recording to the oil rig. The personnel there would have imprisoned Richardson Jr. and called a special election for another president and a restored congress with rig and mainland all being represented. There could be too scenario of Enclave-NCR unification.
Becouse you have a side quest i dont know how its named but, you need to kill 2 NCR Politicians some Vice President and some other politician. And in ending of Fallout 2 there is that after some guy got the control over NCR, he made it military dictatorship and it became home for the Enclave remnants
I don't think so. The Enclave are strictly against cooperation with wasteland humans. And the NCR is all wasteland humans, with their minor mutations and all. For this scenario to work, both the NCR has to have a major political shift and the Enclave as well which is just impossible.

I always knew Sigma Squad could do great things they are heroes in deserve the Medal of Honor each and every one of them
Fallout does have a lack of special forces, even the NCR rangers aren't used to full potential.
@@TheOmegaInitiative that is very true I mean I was a little disappointed that Sigma Squad armor in Fallout 3 was not very special it was just regular Enclave power armor

Honestly that was amazing I would more than welcome a part two/expansion to the lore perhaps a longer video with more detail. Obviously a tall order but I haven’t been as excited about anything fallout since I played vegas. The dlcs and institute would be good for expansion as well as the other vaults gary/ what they do with info from the others
How was this not long enough? There's nothing left to cover. I already had to create so many story aspects because the Enclave winning in Fallout 2 would normally be pretty simple. There's no way I could add to this.
I don't know this video doesn't really need a part 2 all it needs is just an explain of what happened to The Institute and the Commonwealth and then it's done there's nothing really to do and that could just be speculation
@@TheOmegaInitiative I think that's the point, people love your created story aspects. Your deep knowledge of the lore fits well with what we understand of the Canon, and most people myself included would simply love to see either a slightly prolonged conclusion or a continuation in general. Not entirely necessary, and yes likely way more speculative, but your speculation seems to be what has your audience enthralled. Just something to consider for any future video.
