Its cool the k-series guys have such a backing in the aftermarket industry for real. 1-stop places for anything you guys could want. Instead of scouring places for hours to find 1 part lol
just remember, if you run a thermal gasket, you have to move all ground wires connected to your intake manifold somewhere else. ECU will search for a ground somewhere else if you don't, and it can fry the computer.
@@realstreetperformance I should probably start posting videos.. the K24 layout is almost identical to the engine that came factory in my Ranger. Plans to put a glide or th400 behind the K
You can build a entire k tuned car these days xD I remember years ago many people would complain about ktuned selling junky coils and having other issues with stuff. I'm sure most of that has been worked out by now it usually does get worked out. 🤙👌👍
Man... i've got one of their shifters and I'm not very impressed w/ quality. Seems a bit too made in China for me. Threads could have been cleaned out and tapped better. Hardware provided could have been better. Some K tuned stuff is worth using like coolant filler neck and etc, but IMO w/ K tuned you have to be cautious depending on what you are considering purchasing. Doesn't feel very good after you spend said dollars only to be disappointed. Do research always before buying anything! Company names are irrelevant as far as assuming everything such and such makes is amazing.
I try my best to use mostly oem stuff in my swap. I ended up buying their mounting kit to put my oem shifter under the tunnel for the factory look. Found out the hard way that they use these China made threaded inserts that cross threaded when trying to put a bolt in my hand. I don't see why they couldn't just thread the actual plate. I used an oem exhaust nut and bolt instead. I ended up cutting the parts of my install video of me calling out where they went cheap on because it just turned into a rant.
My k tuned dip stick broke, something let lose and where the wire is held down on the base of the cap, the wire just fell out down into the engine so I had to fish it out with a magnet
Now for some interior parts high compression pistons, rods, valves, retainers, springs, some cams, ported head, e85 and nitrous an u should be good for 400+ all motor
Now the real question is with those exact parts installed what are the capabilities of power limits with those? Everyone knows you can make 600 boosted safely 700 max before you blow the factory motor but if you build the motor how far can that equipment take you?
@@Giixxersquid bro they put decorative parts on this engine, they never replaced pistons are rods inside the engine. This engine will not hold more power than a stock engine
@@MotorSwapDan that’s not what I asked. What I am asking is will these specific parts hold up to a full drag build or do they have horsepower limitations themselves. Are they rated to a certain power level or is the sky the limit with these parts

Probably in pieces again. These guys are something else. They built a car, drive it for month a take it all apart again. Instead of building something and running it hard as fuck for a long time.
90's Honda racing at it's finest, all show and no go. That has to be $5000 worth of parts. I think for the money I might just get a manifold, turbo, intercooler, injectors, ECM, fuel pump, etc and pretend the hood latch is broken like I did back in the day. Plus the few K-tuned parts I have had in my hand didn't feel like they were as good as their price indicated.
I love k series but I truly believe that the J series is and will become the most deadliest motor swap in the game 🎮. They have so much potential and capabilities to be a monster 💀👹.. hope you guys tweak out a j series soon 🔜
Good question. You will possibly see a slight gain due to not having a complete belt system as there is less drag on the belt system. Exact number would be based on your setup being dyno'd at the same place, setup, and weather conditions. There are about 5 pulleys on a OEM application. Water pump, tensioner, AC, power steering, alternator, crank pulley. With the electric water pump it's just alternator to crank pulley.
@@TML34 hondata Kpro and pretty much all standalones have options for control over various extra outputs. You can even set parameters to turn it off and on depending on coolant temp if the water pump has variable speed
Im genuinely not tryna be a dick an intake and exhaust is all you need the rest is just pissing money down the drain should title the vid more appropriately how to bling your k series

Quick question how much is the whole set for the engine I mean everything is there any package or deal for all this pieces
You’re looking at around 3-4K of aftermarket parts
transformation = deep pockets
Can i ask if i can still put AC and PS on that build

3500-4K.
