Starts with worlds longest chain of ratchet extensions put together for a bolt - check! This should be a good one ;-)
🤣👍
That is the cleanest Throttle body I've seen in awhile.. It's really nice to have your own tools, drills and all. Pre fab stuff. Thumbs 👍 up..
Thank you, having the tools is half the battle! 👍
Damn, I about fell off my chair when your video appeared in my feed!
What's goin on? So nice to see you, hope you & Family are warm and safe!
Thanks for the video.
(Don't forget about me, because I'm not Rich Folk like you, 2 stall garage,
I'm at the mercy of Mother Nature, for working on my car-
and it's 36F & windy all month, so I'm INSIDE till then!🥶
But ASAP I'll be wrenchin!)
Take care, Jonathan👨🏾🔧
We're all well, lol yeah things have been slow but I'm trying. There's no rush, wait till it gets nicer out. That's part of the reason why I'm not in the garage that often. It's too cold
That's one sweet set up. It's never straight forward when doing custom work to cars or motorcycles. I am currently restoring a motorcycle and it's 1 obstacle after another lol. Great job 👌
You already know! Even "bolt on" parts are never just bolt on lol
Just thinking about your vids last night... and BOOM, that's some freaky shit, anyway good to see you back... all the best from Newcastle, Australia 🇦🇺👍
Hello! Lol that seems like perfect timing to me! Thanks for watching 👍
Thread a small washer of same cable I.D. onto cable.
Gently push a brad through the cable end, head of brad holding washer.
Dip it in a carved wooden cup of molten lead (old battery terminal).
Trim excess. Beware of lead vapors. Swedging is a cool science (it's what you cut off).
I was thinking of doing something like that but I didn't know how to go about it
@@themechanic6117 Get a chunk of 2x4, drill a small hole of whatever diameter swedge you need, End of cable, push a bent finishing nail up through the end of the cable. Heat an old battery terminal or fishing weights, pour into hole, dip cable in, till cool maybe 10 minutes. Drill a 1/4" hole 1/4" deep.
Thank you, I'd be interested in trying that one day
Nice one bud , thinking outside the box x10👍
Thanks Steve! Universal parts suck! Lol
Good stuff broo !
Thank you! I'm happy with the outcome
Man.that came out beautiful! Nice Job bro 👏
Thank you 💪
Nice job on the 45 bend in the throttle cable. I thought I was watching a different video there for a second, creampie? 😂
Sometimes things go a little off track lol
Hey just some advice for safety. I'd put an L bracket close enough to the the v pulley so it's not possible the throttle cable comes out/off of the pulley.
I figured the spring tension of the throttle body should keep it always on the v pulley ,but that's not a bad idea .
@@themechanic6117 better safe than sorry you don't want to lose acceleration ability at the wrong moment.
Definitely
Nice work! I noticed the snow falling... did you ever service your snow blower carb? 😏
I still haven't gotten around to that, it's turning into one of those " I'll do it next year" things ....
What you gonna do with the old bracket mine broke and can’t find a replacement 😅
What a coincidence. Got my tax money and was just thinking about spending a chunk to upgrade my 96 d16y18 and was wondering what to do. Was thinking a Ram intake, bigger throttle body and manifold, new headers and a 2.25 inch exhaust maybe. Any suggestions? I kind of feel like I should just swap it
A swap is your best bang for your buck. Unless you want to go turbo. Spending a good chunk of money on bolt ons won't gain much HP
you need to make this a kit bro
I'm going to make like 5 of them. If they sell then great 👍
"creampied" 😂😂😂💀
🤷♂️
Extensions😂😂😂
For hard to reach places 🤣
@@themechanic6117 that rear mount😂
Definitely lol
Ktuned product are cheaply made
I'm starting to see that ... 👎
