if you put the oven at 200, leave 10 minutes, all the grease will come faster in hot water. with no struggle .

Hey AJ!! I too love Easy Off fume free. I have a great free oven rack cleaning method. Won't work in snow, but in the summer when the grass is nice and green and maybe even a little long just lay the racks in the grass and forget about them for a day... Or a week.... who wants to turn the oven on in summer when it's so hot already?? I learned this trick years ago and it really worked for me. Something about the enzymes in the grass or something... I'm pushing 70 now so don't remember all the details I learned in my 30s😉
For such a short sitting and scrubbing time. Pretty darn good. Will be doing mine tmw. Forgot to put them back in the oven when I was cleaning it so I'm excited to get done all together. Thanks!
You can also place the racks in a large yard/leaf trash bag & spray inside the bag. It contains the spray so the racks will “soak” in it, and you will use less product.

Yup totally agree BUT I spray the racks and put them in a big green garbage bag overnight and the next day (open bag but be careful of fumes if using that type) the gunk just melts off with a paper towel, very little scrubbing required.
Yes, great idea to take it outside. I was just going to ask if it has a strong smell but then you said it smells so good.
When I clean my oven racks I take them outside on the driveway. If I have a cardboard I lay them on top after I spray them like you did and let sit for 15 minutes and hose them down. I will repeat until all the burned in gunk comes off. I use steel wool pad to finish the process, they look brand new afterward. I like the green pad you used, great idea.

My Aunt sprayed easy off on her oven racks on a hot day, and laid them on cardboard to sit in the sun, then she would go out and turn them over. She would leave them in the sun for 1 hour each side. She would then take the waterhose and just spray them off. No scrubbing required. Wipe them dry and they looked brand new. Sometimes she would spray again and leave them in the hot sun longer if they really needed some more cleaning because of caked on grease.
im in so Calif. lil warmer today at 68. we actually have been getting some cooler weather for winter. I love it. snow looks so beautiful but cold. yes better to do oven rack cleaning outside. we just bought some all purpose & bath cleaners at target last night.

In order for it to work you have to leave it sit longer than 30 second. It has to sit at least 30 minutes thanks use a brillo pad and crib. Wet the brillo pad first.

Soak oven racks in bathtub and denture tablets and hot water for a few hours. Gets alot of stuff off. 1st put old towel on the bottom of the bathtub to avoid potential scratches

Hi from Sun Prairie WI. I used this product today to clean my racks, but I put them in a garbage bag and sprayed inside it. I left them for a hour or so and then used SOS to clean them. Not perfect, but much much cleaner. I won't wait quite so long to do them next time!

Just a quick thought: To clean my stove top racks and my burners covers, I just place them in my oven and pull the handle over on front for self-cleaning and let it do it’s work - perhaps a self-cleaning ovens are newer? Anyway thought that might be helpful. Hugs.....keep doing what you’re doing!

I tried cleaning a baking sheet with the exact product you used, but for some reason, I couldn't get it to spray evenly, and now, I can hardly get it to spray at all. I can't even remove the nozzle to try to fix the problem.

Well it is not 2022 and it is March and I am watching your video from NYC it is not 38 degrees, I have a new oven because my last oven looked like it was in the Iraq Wars, but that was my fault because I hated the smell of oven cleaner. So my oven died and now I am a good girl and using my COVID masks to cover my nose and I am cleaning my oven. Just want to know how to do the racks. Thanks.

I usually soak my racks in the tub with hot water with Dawn then spray with Dawn Powerwash and the grease comes right off.
