@lilakscy For me Dolph seems too European or Russian and doesn’t give me the Italian vibes, obviously Dolph has the stature and body for the Punisher though.
Yes... because a 6'4'' Swedish brick shithouse is better suited to be The Punisher who by Origins is an Italian American from Queens, New York whos parents are Sicilian Immigrants. You my friend, are off your rocker hahaha As much as I love Thomas Jane being "the best" Punisher, Jon Bernthal is by definition the exact depiction of what Frank Castle is really supposed to look like, and the dude fucking kills it as the Punisher.
80s East vs West crime thrillers put a huge grin on my face. Black Rain, Year of the Dragon, and Punisher 89. A movie like this can't be made today because there's too much cultural exchange between the East and the West, exacerbated by the internet. Tokyo Drift, Tokyo Vice etc. In the 80s, the West did things the Western way and the East the Eastern way, with smug arrogance and mystery on both sides
Wow I’m surprised too that you didn’t hear about it Yeah I was 12 years old when this movie came out I remember that wanted to see so bad but my my mother said no because it was rated R.
After seeing Dolph Lundgreen, Thomas Jane, and Ray Stevenson's The Punisher, I love Thomas Janes' better. It had an equal amount of violence and heart and the cast were perfect for each role👌🏿
i gotta admit it..this was the best movie i ever thought of it. some idiot journalists on the media lurking around trying to make fake story's pointing fingers at marvel for having a vigilente in a comic just to put justice himself they misunderstood things too much to know before all that. the way i see in the punisher. i actually thing he did something what super heros can not do.
🤭wow !!!!! Esa es su boz !!!!!👂🎵🎶
Where's the part where Frank's informant bitches him out for after discovering Castle was just going to leave the kidnapped children to the 'mercy' of the Yakuza? It's literally the best scene in the movie
I love The Punisher and Dolph may have been a decent candidate for the role, but after seeing Jon's take on Netflix and growing up on Thomas Jane's film. I can't with the interpretation straight out of every other 80's action flick. Seems like every scene has Dolph running shooting at the hip and his accent throws me off, should've got him a decent vocal coach, it's just so over the top.
Speaking of accents, why the hell does Frank, a native New Yorker, have a distinct Southern accent on the Netflix show? It annoyed me much more than Dolph Lundgren's accent.
@Da Afa I was thrown off for a second. I didn't know which one you were talking about, but yeah, now that you mention it, I hear it too. Hopefully, they'll fix it if and when he returns to the role.
This mf impaled someone with a zip line then proceeded to go down it while blasting everyone away… 😂 Im sorry, Bernthal, but you still got a long way to go…
Dolph's take on Frank Castle looks like he popped out of the pages of Jim Lee's comic book cover of Punisher War Journal.
Dolph looked more like the comic book version of the Punisher than any other Punisher actor.
Sylvester Stallone could’ve been a great Punisher also
@lilakscy For me Dolph seems too European or Russian and doesn’t give me the Italian vibes, obviously Dolph has the stature and body for the Punisher though.
Ray Stevenson looked great as punisher even if the film sucked
@@code44422Love Sly, but too short
So Dolph and those two guys at the end I’ve got massive respect for. Why? They’re fighting full contact in this scene. Those hits are real
Best punisher period
Agreed. All the others are a joke.
@@crankfotton tru dat
Dolph Lundgren was and still is the best punisher, with the true deadly eyes of Frank Castle.
All the Punisher's have been excellent

Dolph Lundgren did an absolute amazing badass job as The Punisher for this movie!
Amazing movie.. loved Dolph Lundgren😎🔥🔫💪
This convinced me that a young Dolph Lindgren with black hair could be the best live action Guts!
