The dog is some kind of ruler. There is a version of the neutral ending, if you only kill Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, Asgore, Flowey and Toriel; Sans will tell you in his phone call that a dog has taken over the underground and just lays around sleeping on the trone all day, but it is a really good system

So not that stable, because in the game theory video, how did frisk know who was sans? Answer that, how do we know the outside is just a different place an not the place of mother/earthbound? There can be a failed attempt of trying to go back to the surface? And one more thing that can debunk the theory is why does sans refer it to "the surface" and not where ever the f**k mother/earthbound is? So if you can answer that, this theroy is stable and I realised I just went on a rant on a different theory.

The crystal had too meaningful of a puzzle around it (you have to play Asriel's theme) to have been planned as a joke from the start. Toby probably either decided last minute that giving the player the crystal was a bad idea for some reason, or he never got around to fully completing it, and couldn't seamlessly remove it from the game in the state it was already in, so he has the annoying dog prevent you from getting it to represent that he's meddling with the game. This is also what I think happened with Papyrus' special attack.

Next, you should do a theory talking about Determination. Why do monsters seem to melt when subjected to it?
My theory is that determination in and of itself is not what caused those monsters to melt. Instead, it only truly takes this effect when they are about to die. It simply gives them a much greater will to live. It makes it so that, when they're on the verge of death, rather than explode into ashes and dust, they melt, holding their bodies together in one piece, but making them amorphous blobs. This would explain why Undyne seems to melt when you kill her, despite there being no indication that she had anything to do with the determination experiments. She is naturally determined, so she has a much greater will to live than any other character.
Something tells me that the artifact is what gives undyne determination in the genocide/no mercy route

uhm I believe it's in the no mercy run aka you kill everything you encounter, but don't get out of your way to kill absolutely everything (genocide); but as far as I remember Greater dog becomes the king, not annoying dog

He also says that knowing how long it takes for hard mode to be fully created is "HARD.", so it is probably the dog who is creating this new mode as he would have the power to do these things if he's a god.

In the Kickstarter for UNDERTALE, not only is the Annoying Dog shown when it's talking about Toby Fox, but there's also this line in it.
- First, I will absorb the money into my bloodstream and use it to fuel the creation of this game. With your contributions I will be able to support myself and focus on the game.
Absorb the money into my bloodstream? K. Need I say any more on this part of it? This speaks for itself.
As for the rest of it, Toby Claims that he will "use it to fuel the creation of this game" I'm pretty sure the human Toby can't absorb things, so this is talking about the Annoying Dog. And use it to create this game? On the Kickstarter for UNDERTALE? Seems obvious to me.
For the Annoying Dog, we know that he's the God of UNDERTALE and that he can create worlds, but it's never stated what other powers that this little white Pomeranian has, so the rest of the Annoying Dog's powers has to be an educated guess, which is exactly what this video is about, the rest of the Annoying Dog's powers.

What happens when you drop something that isn't the dog when you are at the artifact? Will you be able to pick it up, will the dog activate anyway or will the empty inventory space be filled with another dog? Also what if you don't use the dog and use it somewhere else?

What would also prove its powers would be one fact you didn't mention.
If you go into the debug menu of the menu, and remove the anoyying dog from your inventory before collection the artifact, it gets its revenge. If you try to examine the artifact without the dog in your inventory, it simply sais "This will never happen"
In the last puzzle of Snowdin when we slide through the snow the a small dog also can appear on your head or maybe a particular Fun value

I think there's only one dog, and since he's supposed to be Toby, who created the game, he can edit the code to walk through walls, pop into your inventory, open/close the barrier, appear anywhere, control the player, etc..
I think the "Legendary Artifact" is actually just a red ball, and I think the annoying dog is really just something random and funny. Thinking back to the secret room, I also think that the dog could represent something, although what I am not sure.

You can actually hear bits of the dogs theme in different songs from the game and also it is an error handler so he is probably the supreme ruler of undertale
I once saw a secrets video and if you call papyrus when next to the dog food in alphys lab, he will say sans has some in his room. which I personally thinks he's trying to make the dog get him out of undertale, and connect it to the theory sans is from somewhere else... and that he know the dog controlling it all which connect to one of my theories that says that on hard mode when in the toriel fight the dog comes sans was on the other side and heard everything and remember through the timelines... good theory?

At the ending of hard mode the annoying dog ends the demo and tells the player it's over. The annoying dog's room also states that by having text to speech on the dog may of programmed a entire game (Undertale)
I just realized that Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story had a pacifist run before Undertale was even conceived. There is an end thingy that you get if you only kill bosses as Mario and Luigi, restriction that is not applied to Bowser, who later on faces giant robot cages full of his captured minions.

i think the artifact was useful once cause there is a unused choice for battling called magic and toby fox just wanted it to have a part or whatever and he just made it useless
There is only one dog who can travel everywhere.The dog also becomes king when you kill all the bosses showing how he is more powerful than most monsters, but not as powerful as bosses
The magic red crystal is clearly just a regular bouncy red ball that the dog likes to play with. Nothing more.

i think that the artifact was a crystalball that helped the dog absorb bones faster because in the video ultra sans fight right when sans literaly grabbs your soul to kill you when he tries to say you're going to have a bad time bad is replaced with annoying dog who uses the artifact to incinerate sans (sans is still my favourite character). if thats not right the annoying dog is just plain annoying and the red ball is just a red rubber ball

My gosh! Toby is so powerful, that when the screen shook because of the dog residue dog decoy,(say that 5 times fast) my IPad asked me to type in my Apple ID.
Maybe all the things that the dog stole, Toriels phone, papyruses attack and the artifact all mean something that the dog will do something
