Courtney, you always seem apologetic about your hair when it is air dried product free. I would LOVE having hair that looks as pretty as yours with an air dry. It is a lovely option for you, as you deal with babies and RA.
Most people I watched with type 3 and 4 hair didn’t like these products. That’s interesting to see you liked them. I guess they’re more so type 2 hair even though the creator Tia Mowry definitely doesn’t have type 2 hair lol.
Oooo a new drugstore brand! Thank you for exploring this! I'll be checking into it! Also, THANK YOU so much for trying bonus products (refreshing sprays)! Thank you so much for working hard to create a product guide!❤️❤️❤️
Honestly you guys with hair that can be straight are so lucky!! My hair is curly and its taken me forever to learn how to manage it. I've always wished I had straight hair 😭 even if it was weird straight hair lol I even tried to chemically straight and it only stayed straight for a day 😢 I've finally learned to like it but its been a struggle and felt like a curse my whole life. This whole wavy curly trend or whatever is so weird to me hahaha
I am using this brand I love them. I used a little water spray before using the refresh spray and use my defuser to dry it. That worked best for me. I prefer the light conditioner.
Your “next day refresh” looks very nice. I will be checking out this product line. Yes! I’m looking forward to your product guide and everything that comes with it. Thanks so much!
Hi Courtney! I’m loving your 1 brand washday series! I have 3 requests (I’m not greedy 😝): 🔹Kinky Curly - does Knot Today really take the place of a rinse out conditioner? Does the Curling Custard really give enough hold without layering a gel on top?) 🔹Ion (Sally Beauty) - I’ve heard a lot of good things about this line 🔹The Mane Choice - Ingredients look great, I’m intrigued. Thank you for helping me so much on my CG journey. I recently dug out quite a few stylers that I had tried in the past but quickly relegated to the cabinet, since I now know that my application technique was really bad. The first product I’ve revisited is the Carol’s Daughter milk spray. I’ve used it as a refresh every day this week, this time by spraying it on my hands instead of my hair, and then glazing & scrunching, and I have been thrilled with the results. Correct application techniques for the win!
This week I went product free (did still use a diffuser because I didn't want to have wet hair while air drying 😅). I thought I was comfortable embracing my curls and waves equally. But really I hadn't. When styled, by day 3 hair was pulled up to hide how the curls had fallen. But after needing a cut to deal with some uneven edges, my hair is now short enough that I can't pull it back the way I like. So, I was product free and primarily hair down for majority of this week. I might still like the curls, but I proved to myself this week that I can wear the waves. They don't have to be overly frizzy. I can be confident in my hair regardless. Thank you for the support and love you give to the wavy/curly girls. 💕
Your reviews are always so helpful ❤ I love that you include an end of the day review + a refresh in the morning 😊 I was wondering if you would review Aquableu? They have shampoo and conditioner sets but no stylers... I am insanely curious to know what your thoughts would be!!!
Thought the refreshing spray did a good job. Have used Herbal Essences Mango & Aloe Oil Curl Refresh Hair Mist which works well. I will sometimes give a quick diffuse to kind of set it. Thanks for the intro to a new line of products.
I wish my hair looked as good as yours product free and air dried. Mine however is a frizzy mess. But, i do have more curl than you. I really enjoy these one brand wash days. Thanks for the good info on these products.
I noticed you said this was a clarifying shampoo--but you didn't need to deep condition after using it? Curious because my fave clarifying shampoo (Neutrogena anti residue) seems no longer to be on the market. I would love a real clarifying shampoo that's not too expensive and doesn't require long deep condition afterwards.
Loving the one brand wash days and you had a great result with this one. Are you growing out your highlights if you don’t mind me asking and please please please will you do a video on how you do your pineapple bun? Thank you. Blessings to you and your family from the United Kingdom. xxxx
OMG! You crack me up! I was like, stop now! Use just a little water! LOL But honestly, I really appreciate your commentary about how products, feel, smell and behave. Even though my hair is nothing like yours, we do share the fine texture part. But add to that, low density and gray - it's a challenge to hydrate but not weigh down my wavy hair. And many products recommended for this hair type, then leave it feeling like it's ..... I don't know dandelion fluff?! Just really light and airy, not necessarily frizzy. With as little hair as I have, I'm pretty OK with a bit of frizz! LOL Anyway - thanks Courtney - I always watch every video!
Your air dried hair looks nice! Mine looks like...well me and my household nickname it the swamp hag look :P Also, I am loving the way that refresh spray worked! I think I'll need to try that...always looking for something to make that routine something I can do quickly rather than having to wet my hair, put the gel back in, and diffuse again. Anything that can make that routine faster with the hair looking just as nice as washday is a huge bonus!
Me too! Right now I’m loving Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Refresher Spray. I spray it in my hands and glaze it on. Yesterday was day 6 and my hair still looked great. (Well, comparatively speaking 😝) Today, not so much. Finally time for a wash day. have super high-density hair and crazy amounts of natural body - too much, honestly - medium texture, high porosity (I think) 2C-3a hair, so I’m sure those are the reasons I can go so long between washes.
Glycerin and propylene glycol have been AWFUL for my hair. And since in my neck of the woods gets very few in range dew point days I avoid them like the plague. However, I’m intrigued by your observation of good results when paired with oils so I’ll be picking myself up some of the CS style fixer and will let you know what happens. Wish me luck!
Your hair looks BEAUTIFUL...Thank You for trying this drug store product... im going to look up and your placing the refresh in your hands to apply, GREAT tip I would never have thought to do that 🥰❤ Huggss your friend in JESUS Mrs Tj, from the Heart of Missouri 🩷🐐🐄🐏🐓🐈🐕🩷
Note on the gel bottle design: I have a face wash with the same design but as I've reached the end, it is near impossible to get out. I am fighting to get the last bit out and not waste so much product. I'd be worried of the gel having the same problem. 😕
@@teri2466 I did not care for the crunchy results, just didn’t seem as good as other products. Right now I am using vicious curl. Looking to try something new

Your hair is a lot like mine. Dries the same way when product free and took me forever to figure out I didn’t just have “weird, straight hair”.
Right?! Deceiving! lol

You need to try the Moroccan oil products now that they released a curling shampoo, conditioner, and styler!
Yes please! I'm so curious to see what you think about their styling products and dry shampoo
That refresh looked so good! Is the Hemi15 squalene?
Another great one brand wash day! Would love to see you demo Dove Amplified Texture curl line!

Love your one brand washday video's. Could you do a Curl Flo washday. Lots of love from Groningen Holland ❤
How is the fragrance for someone who is sensitive?
So shiny!
Thank you so much!
On the website it says hemi15 is Hemisqualane which is derived from sugar cane.
Really interesting products! I would love to try them but apparently they are not available in my country 😢
Oh no!
Very pretty!
Thank you! 😊

The directions on that refresher mist weren't specific. Should you do it on damp hair? Weird! Your hair looked great after the refresh!

Ohh it might! Could you cut the end of it off and put it in another container...?
I would love to see a wash day when you don’t style. Maybe that seems boring, but I’d like to see your product free hair on day 1. 😊
She already did a video like this.. "Simple product free washday" (or something like that).. Uploaded on the 1st of december in 2021.. 😊

Yeah, I find it's better to spray the refreshers in the hand and then apply to the hair, too.
Totally can see why!
