    THANK YOU for your review. LOVED IT, and your hair looks beautiful. I don't have your hair texture, but I'm still interested in trying her products. I, too, love the Mowery sisters as I grew up with them, and I love your videos! That said, how Black women are treating her and going after her is so disgusting and toxic! We love to preach sisterhood until someone within that sisterhood doesn't create or do things according to what WE THINK is acceptable. I'm not going to talk about the Black women out here saying she's not Black. She is the mother to a Black daughter, a daughter of a Black woman, a granddaughter of a Black woman, and a great-great-granddaughter of a BLACK WOMAN! So folks talking like this are on a whole other level of toxicity! She isn't obligated to NO ONE, and I don't understand why people don't get that. TGIN is great for 4C hair, and so are some of Miss Jessie's products; Aunt Jackie's is great, Taraji dropped some products, and Aunti Tab, plus a few more, is out there!
    No one is obligated to provide a hair care line for women with 4c hair. Folks create what they know and are familiar with. I don't believe she is being toned deaf, a term being overused and losing its validity at this point! If you, as a Black woman, feel like there is a gap in the market, which there is, and there is clearly a niche that can be addressed, then flex THOSE ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS and MAKE PRODUCTS for 4c hair. We all want to be successful, and we all want to be able to get on the right side of finances, so her doing it to make money is a good thing. It's the whole reason for being an entrepreneur. She may not cater to all of us, but she is catering to someone. There is a whole lot of disingenuousness going on in this female community. And before anyone says anything about intention, no one knows her intentions, good or bad, but based on her reputation as a genuine person, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she has good intentions.
    Folks at this point are being BEYOND ridiculous in their reviews of her and her products and being unfair! The HERDING MENTALITY is the best way to describe the behavior! Not everything that's made is for everyone, and that's ok. But that means YOU get to step up and fill that gap. Be that Black woman to create an ENTIRE line of hair care for women with type 4 hair! Naptural85 got that ball rolling!
    We must stop trying to find reasons to be mad about EVERYTHING, especially with one another, no matter the shade or hair texture! It's getting exhausting, and if this behavior is kept up, we'll pay for it! Folks need to remember that you reap what you sow. We need to do better!!! Either give her products a chance or don't! We live in a country where we can buy a product, and if it doesn't work for us for whatever reason, we can return it and get our money back. It's not rocket science. Simple, really, but we need to do better!
    Apologies for the novel in your comment section, but I'm getting tired of us acting a fool!

      @@latricehubbard8789, I'm just getting tired of it all! They aren't even giving her a chance and leading with mean-spirited titles in their videos; as you said, there are throwing personal attacks. I've decided to unfollow those who have because if you can't give an unbiased review regardless of your hair texture, then I can't trust you. It's supposed to be business, not personal! I have type 4 hair. The back is 4a, the front 4c-z, and the center 4b, and it is super dense, but certain lightweight products work for my hair, depending on the day. However, her products might work for my son! We need to stop this unnecessary infighting. It's getting ridiculous. Anyhow, have a wonderful day, and stay blessed!

      WOW. This is so wonderfully said. I appreciate you taking the time to express how you feel. Unfortunately, I don't keep up with “tea” as I should, nor have I watched any other reviews/tea videos here or on IG. So bc of me minding my business, I just started finding out there's some women who feel some kinda way surrounding Tia’s new line. Just in case you're confused as to why I haven't watched any of these new videos EITHER is bc my life is crazy…+ I really don't get on TH-cam like that 😂🥴. But I think I get the gist from your comment...
      Anyyyywayyy..this prob gone be long y'all..
      So….I can understand the issue some naturals will have surrounding her product line. I can understand how some may feel excluded in regards to product lines that come out. I get it all. I’ve felt that way too many times on top of ppl trying to TELL me about MY hair and MY struggles and so forth but auntie Yolanda said the battles not mine and what not.
      However, after attending Tia’s event, and actually hearing her talk about her products personally and to others, Tia expressed that the focus of her line was on the health of the hair, making sure her products were clean at a reasonable price as well as the ingredients were backed by science (hemi15 vs silicone etc). She told me she was so excited that somebody ran her products through an app and it said it was totally clean. That’s her lifestyle and that was her focus. She didn’t walk up to me telling me how well her gel styled and defined her cousins hair 😂. It’s not her MAIN focus. So lets remember that…
      Not to mention….homegirl had ONE styler. WHICH automatically tells me a lot. Sis said nope you’re getting 25 shampoos and 28 conditioners. WHICH…lets ME know sis said what she said. 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ No matter how “inclusive” a line claims, my expectations are always small. Bottomline, Tia didn’t lie. She put what she put on her website and on her products. Hell….Taraji has "type 4" hair created ONE styler with multiple claims and promises of strong and extra hold, definition for curly AND coily hair blah blah. LIKE, Tia did NONE of that. Sis said it’s CLEAN, SAFE and that hold flexible. LMAO. SO I didn’t have high hopes for Tia’s like I would have for Taraji’s product, bc Taraji put claims that let me know in so many words, it’s prob gonna work for MY HAIR…so that’s what made me want to try it. (I have a video review on Taraji's Tough Cookie gel, btw 🤗). What if Taraji only had a flexible hold gel? Anyway...Tia wanted to give folks products to ultimately help with the HEALTH of your hair, that was the focus.
      I also talked about a developmental event she had in 2022 that only had room for TWO influencers. I could not make it, but I know that both influencers that ended up going both have type 4 hair. Tia along with her team valued what they had to say. I know one of the influencers personally, and I know for a fact she was vocal and spoke up where she saw fit and I’m sure the other influencer did the same thing. To me, that says a lot. Just wanna throw that out there.
      Again…if you go to her website…it CLEARLY shows that THE FOCUS is on CLEAN products at a "better" price. Moisture and having clean products with sound ingredients was probably inclusive for her. Idk Tia personally, but from the few moments of engaging with her and her team and the fact she's been in the public since I was a child…I can most certainly say homegirls not stupid lol. It's risky coming out with products that are geared towards natural hair in an influencer based industry. I’m sure many ppl were reluctant or hesistant and pre-judged it based off of Tia’s texture. And I’m sure she was aware of that being the case. I get it cus I pre-judge everybody AND they mama lol.
      But…
      Her products didn't lie.
      I cans see if she made other claims.
      She didn’t.
      They’re backed by science, and they're clean. THAT WAS SIS FOCUS 🤷🏾‍♀️. Idk how mnay times I need to say this. I think it’s important to remember that everything isn’t gonna work for everybody and it could have the WHOLE INTENTION to. And if it didn’t work for certain hair types it doesn’t “always" mean that it’s just for her and looser textures. And let’s remember we can all have an opinion about that but don’t none of it equate to facts...bc you were not with Tia and Jesus shooting in the gym.
      In conclusion cus my God my fingers starting to cramp from all this typing…everybody is entitled to their own opinion and I’m so happy that we have so many other Black owned product lines out there to choose from that are inclusive in some aspect, like Tia's. Tia wanted to make products that were health based and clean that everyone could use and purchase even if the gel didn’t hold much but the sweet hand of Jesus 😂. She delivered (for me) as far as moisture goes. Thanks for watching and taking the time out of your day to leave your respectful thoughts! Appreciate it! ❤️

    Now the thing that wasn't clear is if this line is only for women with Tia's hair type, or for the 4c girls as well? I still have yet to see a mainstream celebrity craft a line for us kinky haired ladies, rather it's the influencers on TH-cam that have done that. Luh you sis!😁

    I dont think your hair needed to be stretched, but it didnt look bad. if you want bigger fluffier hair on day one hair, I can see this being a good option.

    • @happycurlhappygirl
      @happycurlhappygirl  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I only stretch bc I stretch for every other wash and go, so I wanted to do my hair the same way I would with my favorite gel. But I do agree it didn’t need to be stretched

    • @Foreignfee
      @Foreignfee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@happycurlhappygirl of course lol I see that you stretch on every video ….but your hair is definitely still gorgeous without the stretching. Especially if this product is so light weight like you said it wouldnt last. I also stretch on majority of my wash and gos cuz I find it helps my hair stay less tangly until the next time I wash

    Honey…You trippin!! Your hair is gorgeous. I’ve never seen your videos or your hair any other way prior to this video. My daughter tried it for the 1st time this weekend and she was saying the same things you said, but the dried results were good. My daughters hair is just like yours - supper thick and long and it weighed her curls, too. I loved the results for her. Now, uhm, my hair on the other hand😖…I’m about to try it. 😂 I seriously don’t think it will work for me, but I like Tia so ima gone head and…yeah😒. I don’t classify either because I have all types in my head.

    I don’t know, something about Tia making a video talking about her “real black hair” and hair acceptance struggles just didn’t and does not sit right with me.

    • @tiahnarodriguez3809
      @tiahnarodriguez3809 ปีที่แล้ว

      Black hair isn’t just type 4 hair, but I felt similar for the very reason I stated. It would have been better if she kept the focus on her hair type because as I said black hair isn’t just one specific look.

    • @neishachambers2719
      @neishachambers2719 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tiahnarodriguez3809 the majority of monoracial black women have type 4 hair. Just like the majority of African countries where there was not intermixing the inhabitants have type 4 hair. So black hair is mainly type 4 hair. And her “black” hair is not the type of hair that is not accepted. For her entire childhood she wore her natural hair on a national tv show while type 4 was vilified.

    If you add a few drops of a hair oil to your conditioner it becomes a deep conditioner

    • @prettystreetchic

      Not true! They're formulated differently. The molecules of deep conditioners are smaller to penetrate deeper than a rinse out or leave in conditioner,
