Congrats on the shiny Destiny Mark Ralts! I caught a shiny Ralts yesterday in possibly the riskiest way possible. During a mass outbreak, it spawned in the place you mentioned being horrible for hunting Ralts, and it was sleeping against a tree….a tree that was within city limits where all wild Pokémon de-spawn! I had to save quite a distance away to avoid de-spawning it and inched my way closer until I could bop it with a Pokéball to start the battle. In a panic, I Quick Ball’d it and as the battle ended, all of the wild Pokémon that were following me like curious puppies popped out of existence as I had entered city limits during the battle. Needless to say, that was an intense experience, but I got my shiny Ralts and was able to finish the entire line thanks to it!
I normally don't go out of my way to get a mark but when i do get one, i smile a bit. My destiny marked shiny was a shiny dreepy when i was hunting for a shiny goomy (after getting 2 shiny oricorio, also non marks) while I didn't get it for my birthday, i did get it later on. And I'm a method hunter, I tried full odds hunting for a sr azelf and while I got it, it was painful.
this was such a fun watch, Maximus is so so cool!! I hunted for a birthday shiny in 2023, the chosen one mark shiny I found was a silly lil rotom heat I named SQUEEGEE :D (not yelling just thought his caps were essential)

Since we talking about naming ralts, i personally have the habit of naming any ralts i want to evolve in a Gardevoir that happens to be male Transal, because the french name for Ralts is Tarsal(and i play in french), that way my male Tarsal can still be a fabulous Gardevoir regardless of it sex :')
Welp, time for me to mentally prepare for Destiny Mark hunting on Saturday and actually decide which of my favorite pokemon (available in Scarlet cause still completing Violet and can't Iron Moth) I want to hunt other than Slither Wing and Larvesta.
I remember one time I found a destiny mark shiny crabrawler a few days before my birthday for some reason but the Pokemon I did catch on my birthday shiny lurantis wasn’t marked though

That's so cool! I really don't mind method hunts, I've done a ton, but I generally prefer making videos about full odds since it's such a journey.
