    After update 1.31 I’ve notice good improvements in tgt2 ffb!

      Yes everything has improved after update 1.31 both the realism in driving physics and the ffb of all steering wheels 👌🏻

    What tuning and parts did you add or change to that BMW? I've been struggling to find a car that suits my drift style. I can drift my 350z all day in real life but can't seem to find the trick in this game set up wise. Help me bro. 😂

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stock setup with Sports Hard tires (default). Only added a brake balance controller, Sports Exhaust and Sports Air Filter. I usually drift most cars completely stock. I think your problem is with the force feedback. Which wheel are you using? You can watch this video to best understand my approach in setting things up: th-cam.com/video/oEe5ZchqbMg/w-d-xo.html

    just got a question, i drift a lot on GT7 and I see you do too, you also drift in real life and I was wondering if GT7 was pretty close to real life drifting

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is very close indeed. It still needs some improvements for sure, but it's the closest to real life there is at the moment. To better answer your question, I actually learned how to drift in real life from GT5 and Live For Speed which both are far from how realistic GT7 is, but still close enough to learn from. My brother did it equally, and he's a very good drifter in real life too. He actually is addicted to drifting on Assetto Corsa and doing drift trains with his friends but he shares my opinion that GT7 is the most realistic. He actually got himself a PS5 just for it and is convicting his friends to switch lol

      @@SimActionClips hey thanks for the reply, I thought so but just wanted to check :) I also really want to get into drifting when im older in real life so this should be good practice for me ( I also have a PS5 just for drifting on GT7 as well lol 😂 ) my nickname in gt7 is TT, maybe I’ll see you on the track sometime

      I'm making a drifting tutorial series for steering wheel users, check out part 1 if you like here: th-cam.com/video/qbz6i0WxkUA/w-d-xo.html

    I feel like I am fighting my direct drive wheel at 5nm torque.. I am certainly strong enough but I feel like if I lower the torque, the wheel doesn't spin fast enough in all occasions. What's your opinion on the best torque setting? (I've seen your video about the best wheel settings but I'm using fanatec dd gt pro)

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Someone else using the DD Pro also 5Nm without the boost kit, told me that he found my settings to be perfect for it with max torque at 7 which makes sense. Since the I use 6 with my TGTII of 6Nm and 10 with my G29 of 2.2Nm.
      So:
      - controller steering sensitivity: 5
      - max torque: 7
      - force feedback sensitivity: 10
      These are his Fanatec settings, but I don't know how much good they are since, I have no experience with these:
      Sensit. 540
      FF Str. 100
      FF Scale. PEAK
      Nat.Dpr. 30
      Nat.Fri. OFF
      Nat.Inert. 11
      FF Inter. 1 (1-3)
      FE Intens. 100
      For.Eff.% 100
      Spr.Eff.% 80 (to centre on start-up)
      Dpr.Eff.% 100

    Do u sometimes tap the brake and turn in to initiate the drift? Or always only a quick turn in?

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I use the brake a lot for initiation. That's why I put a brake balance controller and set it to -2 to the front. I will be covering the techniques involved and all the details about the subject in the coming parts of my drifting tutorial.

    Ain't you using handbrake???

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeapp, I don't always use the handbrake. It's not always necessary. You can watch my drifting tutorial series where I will be explaining everything related to drifting. This is part 1 where no handbrake was needed: th-cam.com/video/qbz6i0WxkUA/w-d-xo.html

    Is it true there is no such thing as clutch kick in Gran Turismo 7?

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Clutch kick works just fine for me

    • @DavyFotosenvideos-mc2lw
      @DavyFotosenvideos-mc2lw ปีที่แล้ว

      Can't use clutch with sequential shifter, can you?

    • @SimActionClips
      @SimActionClips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No but that's normal because it has no clutch. If you want to use it you have to install a manual transmission.

    • @uygarakdogan
      @uygarakdogan ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been playing with the controller since the game came out, but about a week ago I bought the g29 and shifter. At first, I couldn't even keep the car on the road, but gradually I got used to it, but the same is not true for drifting. While drifting very comfortably with the controller, I cannot do anything with the steering wheel. I watched your tutorial videos, I am doing something wrong but I don't know what. If you have a crew that plays gt7, let me know.
