  • Trello makes it easy to manage and organize almost anything. But what if you want to link Trello cards together or create sub-tasks? Did you know that you can create relationships within Trello?
    Not only can you link cards to other cards and boards but you can actually see a preview of the related card. This makes it so much easier to create connections between your Trello projects. It also makes going back and forth between cards so simple.
    In this video, Scott Friesen shows you 3 different ways to create links within Trello. So get ready to get more out of your project management experience.

    Love your videos. Thank you for putting them up! Question - is there a way to connect another board to a card? This way you can have your main board where you track all ongoing projects but perhaps a different board for the bigger projects? Or where you can limit people's access to specific boards but you have the one big board that you can monitor and move around from?

    Thank you! I think I may have found the answer to a dilemma I've had for a long time. I need a *free* solution to my urgent wish to have a Board that I would call either "My Dashboard" or "My Cockpit"! I am on Trello Gold. I have many boards for personal stuff, individual clients and groups of clients. Example: a board called "Payroll only clients". Scott, what I want to do is refer to my Cockpit Board daily and be reminded of all tasks I need to do/will soon need to do on all the various boards I use. I tried power-up Mirror which worked OK. The horrendous currency exchange rate (I am in South Africa) sadly necessitated stopping that subscription. May I please ask for your comments or - dare I suggest - for a TH-cam video on creating such a cockpit/dashboard concept? Best regards from lockdown in Cape Town.

    Hi there, I really, really need help with an issue. It concerns emails that I forward on into Trello. In particular multiple emails concerning a single subject or project. An example: I am currently converting from ADSL to Fibre in my home/business. I am receiving many emails from my ISP as well as the fibre company. This, of course, results in multiple cards, which I do know can be linked. I want all the emails on a single card. Would I use the card's email address? Would the emails each show as comments on the original card I choose? I may have answered my own question but I would appreciate a comment, Scott :-)

    • @Simpletivity
      @Simpletivity  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are absolutely right, Eileen. You can use the card's unique email address to send the email to. This would then show up as a comment within that card. I hope that helps!
