my truck is a 98 i got in 2001 with 100000 miles and it now has 200000 miles and has done this ever since i owned it, never gave it much thought till i seen this video and i will defiantly try this fix
Y2K 5.9 47RE here... owner of truck for 22 years. Got the noise isolator... no good permanent fix. 100% fix is keeping the negative battery terminal on passenger side right and clean.... once every two years my truck will act up.... just remove the negative. Terminal, clean post and reattach... done...
When the noise filter fails. Take the ground that routes thru your alternator to the passenger battery, cut on drivers side and run to the drivers negative- fixed!!!

Noise filtering?
can you run the ground wire from the noise idolater direct to battery ground?
You could as all grounds should be bonded well body chassis battery and engine
What would cause the RF interference after 24 years of no interference?
Grounds
