There is a easy start button on the injector pump. Also a decompression handle. Diesel system wants to be clean to get fuel right. Tiny pin hole in the reserve tank tap. Same for banjo bolts on filters.

Make sure the maximum fuel button, or cold start button, is pressed in on the fuel pump before trying to start it
