    Mad respect for ya building these Chrysler C-bodies! I love seeing different! I recently did a video talking about the Top 5 budget build starter candidates, and the 65-73 C-bodies made my list. This is exactly what I'm talking about!

    Thanks for the clean video and commentary - funny, light and clear. It'd be nice to have friends to play car with, too. Count your blessings, there, also. Thumbs up on the tab hanger before I order! [Laughed on the unibit dulled spots.]
    BTW, JMTC, my current header/exhaust joint hits passenger torsion bar, but, the drive shaft is dead centered. Watching your engine placement check made me wonder, so, wouldn't you know it? My engine is close to reference, meaning my collector was not to some spec. Thank you, again, guys!

    Just helpful tip on any exhaust gaskets use permatex copper spray and get a good coat on both sides and let dry till it's not wet or stick . then apply a thin layer of copper permatex sqeeze tube gasket sealant I both sides and install and tighten.

      @@ric0000 I'm Dave Davis replying from Il. I have a 68 300 2dr hardtop red body with black vinyl top and rust free. I see you have the TNT exhaust manifolds on your car. I have the regular log manifolds on my car. I've put the TTI exhaust on my car, I didn't like the way the pipes hung down to low between just after the hump and rear bumper. I took the car to a shop and had the pipes raised to about a 3/4" below the frame rails. The real reason I'm contacting you is I'm looking for a pair of the TNT manifolds. First of all are the repops for a 68 midsize car the same as for our 300's? Second of all does the HP units dump out in the same place as my log manifolds thus being able to bolt my TTI pipes directly to them? Last of all do you have the specs to the hairier cam that Chrysler used in the 68 TNT engine?

    Does the header reducer/adapter stay inside the torsion bars or does it start inside at the header, go under the torsion bar, and cross over to the outside of the torsion bar before it runs to the back?

    Ric0000 is the 68' chrysler hard to drive / problems with a big car?

      Interesting question. Not really hard to drive, it's about as long as a full sized pick up. Id say the real issue is the poor handling due to old style suspension, but what can you expect from a car from 1968. This is why we went with KYB shock all around, and increased some spring pressure in the back along with a sure-grip (LDS/posi) rear end.

    I have no problem with converting a stock single exhaust to duals..... but I DO have a problem with far too many guys making a Chrysler TOO LOUD with 'performance' mufflers. ... What's wrong with two stock-type, QUIET mufflers... that provide the increase in performance.. but NOT the noise level ? ? .... Compare this obsession with making a Chrysler to be loud, like a Plymouth or Dodge... with a 1960s Lincoln, which has a dual exhaust system.. but with four (4) mufflers. .. When pushing the gas pedal down on said Lincolns, it moves quickly... but the noise level hardly increases at all. ... WHY this immature attitude that insists on "announcing" via NOISE??? A Chrysler is supposed to be a man's car, not an immature teenager's.

      @@chrissmith5418 ... Should the top-of-the-line products in GM and Ford also be too NOISY? I don't think so. Noise means immaturity, IMO.

    You did all this work , paid big $$ for T.T.I.'s , spent all the $$ on engine and put on crappy exhaust manifolds ???? why ??

    They're Cuda kit didn't fit for shit. I would not recommend that company.
