  • HELLO and welcome to another episode of SHOP TALK! Hair jigs are hands down one of my most productive spring baits for walleyes just about everywhere, but especially on Green Bay. Being someone who likes to tinker and play with tackle, naturally I like making my own jigs - in this case, literally out of bullets. How man people can say they caught a walleye with a bullet? Well, if you follow along with my process, you can too! Join me for PART 1 of this 2 part series.
*PLEASE BE CAREFUL - HOT LEAD IS NO JOKE - IT WILL ABSOLUTELY MESS YOU UP. USE COMMON SENSE.*
HERE are the products I use in the video! I am not sponsored by any of these companies - I just like their products.

Using a heat gun will give you a more even heat and much less likely to over heat the jig head. Personal experience taught me that. Well done video...

Great video did you do a video on how you made the powder paint tube with the aerator attached to it, This is such a great idea and building verses buying is more fun. Thank You in Advance :)

Once I grew my hair in one spot under my hat really long and cut my hair at the end of the winter and tied it onto a bunch of treble hooks and put them on some small spinners that I made and a guy at work caught a northern on one of them
Human hair isn't as tough as deer hair so they didn't last long until people gave them back and I tied bucktails of different colors on them

Dude, that is LEGENDARY! I might have to try that (although I'm not sure my wife would dig the flow 🤣)
