Same here. Digital PS5 and Series X. PS5 for exclusives and the Series X as a dedicated flight Simulator machine. If I had Space or the money to build a Console sized PC that can run flight sim I’d have PC and PS5. Also have a switch for playing handheld when I’m doing long haul flights in flight sim (Yes I’m sad) Used to be Flight sim 2004 on PC and PS2 back in the Early 2000’s as a teen still living with parents.
i have had my old console that has a disc drive for 3+ years and never bought a disc ever, i just prefer using digital. this is definitely the console for me!

Nice video I'm planning to get a PS5 digital edition when I get my job. Will be good to play on the latest Playstation Device. I haven't seen my friends for 1.5 years and I can't wait to play my signature games which are WARFRAME, Terratech and Borderlands 3. Co op on those games was fun and I can't wait to get back into it! Playing on playstation will be a good relief from all of the sadness + a fork of depression I've been feeling.

Digital is the way to go. On PS4 I only have a handful of disks and everything else I bought digitally. On my kids switch we only buy digital games and I just bought an Xbox series S for $219 brand new! I might also buy the digital PS5 as I have a ton of Digital PS4 games that I can just load up on the PS5!
I'm getting the Digital verision this month, I don't have any discs or don't plan to buy discs, I download all my games. I save like 100 dollars from getting the Digital version. Can't wait!
I had bought a ps5 digital last year 2021 but I sold it the next day never been opened now I regret it I traded my Xbox series x for a ps5 disk version I’m satisfied ❤❤❤
You got that right sony definitely didn't think it through and in my opinion they wasted their time and money making a digital console because it's like you implied the digital ps5's aren't selling as much as the disc version of the ps5. Case and point here in the states i went to a local big box store and their display case was filled with the digital version ps5's whereas the disc version there was only one console left.
the PS5 are identical. just the addition of the disk player. they are otherwise technically identical. if, like me, you don't play discs anymore and download games and use console for youtube etc then save the money- get the digital. i have used my PS4 as essentially digitial only and in 6 years its worked perfectly. quieter and less strain on console. i just bought PS5 digital and am looking forward to it with great excitement.
Been having my ps5 for 10 or 11 months almost a year since I had it I have the disc edition and I really love it glad I was able to get a ps5 and hopefully to everyone to get there very own ps5
Here's my issue with the digital ps5's let's just say you delete a game by accident what do you? Because considering it's digital there's no guarantee you'll be able to get the game back whereas with the disc version all you have to do is put the physical ps5 disc in and just reinstall the game. So, please anyone feel free to comment and explain how that works with the digital version.
3 reasons why u should buy this digital PS5: :1 You don’t have to go out ur way to the store which the dics will mostly be gone :2 u can download games that are online or from the ps5 store and 3: it just looks cooler
4th reason: buying digital games DOES influence you to save $$ for the better because it a sunk cost. Also there always a digital game sale. There is NO INCENTIVES to have a LARGE library of unplayable games which is more expensive and wasteful over time vs buying digital. Games keep coming out with no break.
The Digital might be cheaper but the Disc Edition is better since at least you have options for selling games. I also use mine as a Blu-ray player but great video.

Exactly. The xbox series s might be a lot cheaper but it is also a lot less powerful than the series x while there isnt really a difference between disc and digital ps5 except for the disc drive ofcourse.
Personally, I don't see the point in getting a digital edition. I understand that they're cheaper than the disc version, but I'd rather just wait a little longer and save some extra money for the disc. I love physical games and physical media in general, so I guess I'm a bit biased in that regard. I don't have a problem with people that have the digital edition though; everyone has their own taste and style when it comes to consoles.
With Christmas coming near I hope I get a ps5 for Christmas if I do hope I get the disc edition and If I do get it imma come back and thank u and the video for getting my hopes up

Digital is the way to go. On PS4 I only have a handful of disks and everything else I bought digitally. On my kids switch we only buy digital games and I just bought an Xbox series S for $219 brand new! I might also buy the digital PS5 as I have a ton of Digital PS4 games that I can just load up on the PS5!

You got that right sony definitely didn't think it through and in my opinion they wasted their time and money making a digital console because it's like you implied the digital ps5's aren't selling as much as the disc version of the ps5. Case and point here in the states i went to a local big box store and their display case was filled with the digital version ps5's whereas the disc version there was only one console left.
the PS5 are identical. just the addition of the disk player. they are otherwise technically identical. if, like me, you don't play discs anymore and download games and use console for youtube etc then save the money- get the digital. i have used my PS4 as essentially digitial only and in 6 years its worked perfectly. quieter and less strain on console. i just bought PS5 digital and am looking forward to it with great excitement.

Here's my issue with the digital ps5's let's just say you delete a game by accident what do you? Because considering it's digital there's no guarantee you'll be able to get the game back whereas with the disc version all you have to do is put the physical ps5 disc in and just reinstall the game. So, please anyone feel free to comment and explain how that works with the digital version.

3 reasons why u should buy this digital PS5: :1 You don’t have to go out ur way to the store which the dics will mostly be gone :2 u can download games that are online or from the ps5 store and 3: it just looks cooler
4th reason: buying digital games DOES influence you to save $$ for the better because it a sunk cost. Also there always a digital game sale. There is NO INCENTIVES to have a LARGE library of unplayable games which is more expensive and wasteful over time vs buying digital. Games keep coming out with no break.

The Digital might be cheaper but the Disc Edition is better since at least you have options for selling games. I also use mine as a Blu-ray player but great video.

Exactly. The xbox series s might be a lot cheaper but it is also a lot less powerful than the series x while there isnt really a difference between disc and digital ps5 except for the disc drive ofcourse.

Personally, I don't see the point in getting a digital edition. I understand that they're cheaper than the disc version, but I'd rather just wait a little longer and save some extra money for the disc. I love physical games and physical media in general, so I guess I'm a bit biased in that regard. I don't have a problem with people that have the digital edition though; everyone has their own taste and style when it comes to consoles.
