Love the car, you're doing awesome! I work in the body shop of a Nissan dealership and can tell you that you need to have the driver's door switch plugged in and hooked up in order for any of the other windows/door locks to work. You're wiring has nothing wrong with it.

Thought you should know as of tomorrow afternoon at 3pm Matt will have sold the schematics to the Vaydor to Melvin at Supercraft cars, so any replacement parts will have to go thru him from now on...
thing is is if it gets painted - then it all has to come back a part, window plates, door wiring, trims, rubbers, running boards, tail lights, front clips, everything comes back off. . . start back at square one. If you want an great cheap ALT?? = look into Dip Your Car. Some amazing new products with proline and peral colors ect.
I’ve considered plastidip, the original plan when I got the car was to plastidip it, but I’m not sure if you can do it over primer or if it would need to be painted first... I already have the DYC sprayer so I’ll probably try it out on the trunk or something and see how it turns out. Have you finished your vaydor? If so what finish did you use (paint, plastidip, etc)?
@@PittsburghVaydor - went plasti-dip over primer. works As we are still undecided on a final color. Also did not want to paint it before we built the window washer system. Dip seemed like easy fix if something gets scratched. wanted to drive it around and work out bugs and get ideas and finalize some stuff before making that commitment. Also hard to find good- fair painters around here. Have had quotes of 25k. which is about what we have in the whole car. So it hard to justify. As i really want to try and paint it myself. Picked up a nice compressor over the holidays. So if i find a good gun, i will try the trunk lid and see.
Have you tried using the passenger side window switch with the drivers side switch hooked up? I've had vehicles that required both sides be connected in order for passenger switch to do anything.
No, I really think that instead of wrapping, you should take it to a plasti dip shop to get autoflexed. That way you can peel it off if you dont like it, but it looks like paint.

Absolutely, I enjoy learning from my mistakes and figuring out how to fix them, I knew going into it that it wouldn’t be an easy build. I also have a lot of fun working on stuff like this and seeing it all come together
why not ask some freind help you with the smoll staph, it will make the progress go alot faster with you focusing on the important staph. by the way i like the wrapping idea i am sure it gona look ausome.
I wish I had someone to come help, all my friends from home are at different schools (none close enough to just come help on a weekend) and my schools just under 2 hours away from home so it’s not close enough to have any of them come help... but they’ll all be home Christmas break so the plan is to get a lot of them to all help at once
waste of money .... if your paying someone to do this fine .... is it still a waste with a professional doing the work ?? debatable , but i been watching this kid kill himself for months and barely gets anything done let alone does the work with Quality .... hes buidling a death trap
A lot of the progress I’ve made recently has been body work and minor adjustments all around to get everything to fit better so sadly there isn’t much to show at this point, I’ll try to get another video out this weekend though
if you wrap this car ill stop watching. its not hard to paint the car, nor expensive. wrap is tamp. plus that vinyl looks like a cd scratched by concrete!! make me proud.

Check the Ground ( NEG BATTERY ) on the door, it's fiberglass & you need to run a ground wire into it.

The window switch circuit runs threw the drivers switch first. if the drives switch isn't plugged in the passenger side switch will not work.

For some reason I didn’t think to try that, I’ll attempt this weekend

You should probably paint it if nothing else it'll help protect the body and wrap goes on clear coat a lot easier on clear coat

Most likely, there are a few other pretty cool options (custom digital gauges) which I’ve been considering though so we’ll have to wait and see
