I purchased one of these Honda’s, I love it and I planned on putting a kit in when my cylinder wears out, is there any other modifications that must be done to accommodate the kit, and is there any reliability issues when you install a big bore, any help would be greatly appreciated
@@quadcityracing that is where ive sent other ecu's in the past. I just wondered if its required for big bore. Ill probably just call tokyo mods and see what they think
@@quadcityracing what year model did you put the big bores in, and is it worth the money? I have a 2018 and just would like to have a little more bottom end power.
I added the RedMoto 300 big bore kit to my 2019 250RX and it was a game changer. Highly recommend the big bore kits 👍✌
Just put a top end in my yz450f thanks to your vids. Fired right up, keep up the vids.

Any reason yall chose the Cylinder Works 270 kit rather than the Red Moto 300 kit?
I have the 300 Redmoto and is top. I imagine Cylinder Works is cheaper and easier to get cause the Redmoto is from Europe.
Does the mapping switch still work with the big kit? I have a CRF 280 r big bore but the mapping doesn't work?
Are you still using the stock ecu and if so is a remap required when installing the big bore kit?
I hace the same cuestión cause y put on mi bike and does not work
Tokyo Mods can remap the ecu

@@davidpalmer287 yeah, you should remap. They did two 270 Crf’s for me, both ran perfect.

Yes, this is the stock ECU.
