Awesome video ping. I did a Athena 270 kit on my RMZ 250 with a Carrillo forged high-compression piston stage 2 hotcam and a pro circuit exhaust. Night and day difference from a stock 250. My favorite bike I've ever had

We should just go back to the original equation: 125cc, 250cc and Open classes. No handicap on two strokes, it just should be done…..

I do believe that is coming, most of the manufacturers are building brand new 300cc and 350cc 2stroke bikes again along side the 125cc,150cc,and 250cc , and there are a few guys manufacturing brand new 500cc complete bikes like AJ Wagners 500AF and the BRC racing 500 conversion kits , so we aren't far off from it , possible that we will have 125cc 300cc and 500cc outdoor pro motocross and the 250 and 450 continue indoor , there's a reason ktm Kaw Yamaha Honda are building these 300 and 350cc 2strokes and the new combined series are changing up , so we might see it happen

@@tanorkewl8360 I put it out there how disgusted I am with four stroke mx bikes , they are very expensive to rebuild and not worth rebuilding do to the resell value once you invest all that money into it . They cost a lot new , blow it up and you'll be the same amount in a rebuild, and at that point they are only reselling for half the value and that's if you only break in the new motor , I know many guys that have blown up bikes in the garages and they just buy new ones for that reason, then they have to sell the chassis to someone wanting to do a conversion over to a 500cc 2stroke , that's became their only use for it once it's blown up

I totally get why they dont want to share dyno figures but it would be interesting to see the torque improvements and at what RPMs over a mildy 'tuned' 250F and bone stock

i was my first thought too , but they checked out max's bike and its legit, he's just in his purple patch, people forget that him and herlings were mostly even when in the amateurs. hes just damn fast.

I wish them bikes weren't disposable, they aren't worth the investment at all , 9000 for the bike , blow it up and the rebuild is 4400 , so now you are 13,400 ish , the bike will be worth 5000 with new motor and break in hours only, so do you keep dumping money in it or sell the chassis for what you can get for it , or just do the 2stroke 500cc conversion and get the value of your bike back up where you can actually make a profit from the initial cost and conversion together, so where should someone draw the line when it comes to making any of these decisions, you have to think average person here, nobody can just call the shop and say here fix this with all factory stuff I'll be back next week from riding someone's bike in Australia
