  • After his extraordinary success at the software company he founded - and a difficult period of obstacles and legal disputes - Kevin eventually found himself on television, quickly becoming a sought-after host and personality on a range of shows - including Discovery’s Project Earth, CBC’s Dragons’ Den, and ABC’s Shark Tank.
Kevin has since launched O’Leary Funds, an investment fund company; O’Leary Fine Wines; and a best-selling book series on financial literacy.
In 2014, Kevin founded O’Leary Financial Group - a group of brands and services that share Kevin’s guiding principles of honesty, directness, convenience, and above all, great value.

For the rich and poor people who don't have 1 hr to burn on this:
    1) Prioritize your goals every day
    2) Use skin cream
    3) Pursue passions outside your profession
    4) Learn to handle rejection
    5) Understand that you don't need money to make money
    6) Maintain a healthy diet
    7) Get your REM sleep

To Mr. Wonderful’s point at the 44 minute mark - this is exactly what I did. I interned at a 10 billion dollar company while in school for 3 YEARS and I told them - I don’t care what you pay me, I want to learn and help you and my goal is to get a permanent position here. The answer was, fine, you can intern, but we don’t hire right out of school. I didn’t take no for an answer. On my last day as an intern, I submitted essentially a business plan to the executive in charge of the department showing him what i’ve done, what I can bring to the table, and how I can fill a need in the department. Here I sit today as a employee of that corporation. Anyone can do it. Suck it up, work your ass off, and don’t take no for an answer. And do it politely. Good luck to you all! You can do it!

The "people" don't have any value and can't let anyone live like a king. For the most part they're just batteries in a system designed by people who are fundamentally superior to them (industrial civilization and it's scientists/entrepreneurs). If they have no value, they also can't confer any value. Those who become successful despite the inertia of the "people" are therefore necessarily self made because their creativity is what compels the masses to buy-in.
They would still be creative, technologically advanced, and therefore wealthy even if the masses didn't buy in, but the masses without them would literally be eating bugs.

Going to summarize here and distill a common pattern.
    1) Focus (through priorities in order to get stuff done.)
    2) Energy (stay energized by eating healthy and taking care of your body to get stuff done)
    3) Decompress (have other passions to avoid burnout and generate new ideas...so you can get stuff done)
    4) Resiliency (success is a series of failures. Bounce back fast...yep, so you can get stuff done)
Successful people are highly productive people.
You have to have the focus, energy and resiliency in order to have a chance.

      Credibility.
A common copywriting tactic is to reference celebrities related to the piece of copy. Even if you never met them, saying something like "Demi Lovato taught me that we can't back down. Let me show you what that got me." gets attention and makes a connection.
