Hi Mary, Yes you can, this same domain can be used for email and a website. You can choose namecheap as the web hosting service or any other that you desire. They all work very similar and you would just need a cname and @ of www to point it to the webhosting domain you get.

Hi lola, This sounds like it only happens in Europe, I have never run into that requirement here in the United States. I would put in a support ticket directly with Microsoft to see what they recommend. You can place a ticket at admin.microsoft.com, Support, Help & Support, type in the topic you need help with, and hit Contact support at the bottom.

Yes you have to pay for a license for each user that needs an email. The cheapest way to get them an Exchange mailbox is the "Microsoft 365 Business Basic license." This does not include any apps but does include Exchange online 50gbs and 1TB of OneDrive. www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business/microsoft-365-business-basic If any users need more than just Exchange and also need the Office apps, I recommend the Business Standard license. You can also mix and match licenses depending on what that user needs.
You can do both. For example, you can have an admin account just to administer all accounts without a paid license. You can also have an admin account with a license (for example your account). Every end user or mailbox a user has should have a paid subscription if you want them to have exchange. I made a video on shared mailboxes if you want a method to get free mailboxes, check that out.

I haven't ran into this particular issue. On the admin center, reach out to Ms365 support and they'll get you up and running in no time. They answer pretty fast, it might just be a simple policy change needed.
You could but it should work for any provider. You just have to update your DNS records as shown in the video. Sometimes it can take a few hours or days for changes to take effect.

Have you checked the spam folder? Sometimes the first emails I have had to right click an email that was in spam and select not spam. If the email is not there, do you get a bounce back message? If so, what's the error?
Hi Ciprian, With a single subscription of the business license you unlock the admin portal where you can add as many domains as you want and you can create upto 400 aliases per user. Just keep in mind, domain purchasing is a separate cost per domain.

@@tk_1888 If only one person will be managing the emails I still recommend a shared mailbox.You would then give full delegation to your one user account, then you can send emails as that mailbox and it will have emails coming in separately to it's own mailbox. @@tk_1888 Once you have two people managing emails you would add another user license and you still keep the shared mailboxes and you add the new user as a full delegate. Both a shared mailboxes and a distribution list have the ability to send emails as that specific email address you set but I think for you the shared mailboxes would be smarter since it will have emails separate from your mailbox and multiple users can access the account once your departments grow.

I'm glad you were able to follow the video. You just need to purchase 1 to set everything up and get started. If you need to add more mailboxes, you will need to purchase additional subscriptions. It's about $13 a month per subscription. If you just need Exchange online for them without all the apps you can also combine adding a MS basics license. You then assign that license from admin.microsoft.com to that user.
So if you need 5 more mailboxes with all of them needing Business standard you would purchase 5 more subscriptions, then the licenses become available in your admin.microsoft.com, you then assign those licenses to the 5 users. If they only need business basic, you purchase those, once theyre available just assign them to those users.

@@connorglazebrook1979 mark them as not spam and usually that helps their backend a.i. to stop detecting them as spam. From Ms365 admin center you can go to the exchange admin center and do a message trace on any emails and it will tell you where it is.

If you don't care about the apps you can do the Business Basic license which will cost you $5 per user per month. You would follow this exact same guide just buy those basic licenses instead.
The pricing of MS365 Business Standard is for 1 email, which runs you $12.50 per user per month. Once you setup this initial custom domain you can add additional users for another $12.50 and so on. With the trial, you are able to add up to 50 users or if you skip the trial, you can go up to 300 users with a Business Standard license. After 300, additional users need to get on an Enterprise license. Once that happens, you don't have to switch everyone to an Enterprise license, but from user #301 and on those will require the enterprise license. Let me know if that answers your question.

Yes sometimes DNS does truly take a day to update. I would come back a few hours later and try again. They advertise it taking up to 48 hours.

You would need to reach out to them. I usually do that by logging into admin.microsoft.com, support, new service request (on left pane).

If you don't care about the apps you can do the Business Basic license which will cost you $5 per user per month. You would follow this exact same guide just buy those basic licenses instead.
As far as limits, you can go upto 250 users.
