I want more stories of wars between the necrons, mechanicus and tau. Wars where data and high technology need to be expertly wielded against highly augmented armies.
Imotekh is respectful of tradition, mindful of necron lives and fair to those who do not wish to join him. It shows a degree of honor that you can't help but admire.
Uh he's actually known to be ruthless and intentionally sacrifices necron lives to win. He doesn't care about necron lives more so than conquering the galaxy. Everything you said is closer to describing The Silent King.
This potential Necron schism is something I have been waiting for. I doubt Imhotek has information regarding the Silent King's journies. Now, in the Tyranids, the Necrons have a back up if the Nexus failed. Wiping out all life in the Galaxy! A Necron civil war would place the Necrons in a precarious position. With Imhotek clashing with forces of the Indomitus Crusade. However, we have a rogue element, the Orks! Ghazkull has wanted a big fight, he has that now. The more conflict, the more the Orks start resembling the Krork race of old. Crashing straight into the Tyranids would offer Ghazkull what he wants. I also suspect GW may go along this path.
It better be Orks v 'Nids. As the weapons used by the Necrons "should" prevent any spores been shed on death. Which would put a crimp on the Orks big time.
One small correction: A Cold War doesn't involve actual warfare, only proxy moves by to main players like the USA vs USSR. If it does involve ar then it becomes a "hot" war.
The Silent King beat a C'tan if Immotek faces him in combat he is doomed to fail. I see some king of treaty for now with the Silent King showing him the threat so he understands.
As fun as the idea of Szarekh and Imotekh and their armies going at it is, we all know how a fight between Imotekh and Szarekh would actually go… Imotekh: “Die Traitor!” *attacks* Szarekh: *Bitchslaps Imotekh so hard he nearly dies* “You done, Imotekh?”
Szarekh also has his override command that he's just too prideful to use. If he wanted, he can literally just tell Imotekh "behave yourself", and the fight is over
@terminallove3531 Yea.....I am positive he did....but wait...could he? If He was made to control the Necrons....did the C'tan give Him the ability to ignore the reason that He was given that powerin the first place? If you made something...to do a specific thing....would you give it the ability to ignore or abandon the reason you made it in the first place?
@@godking4621 I don't know how to explain it. Remember, the Necron nobility were allowed to keep their faculties,SK was the king of the Necrons,so he had more "independence" than most nobles. I think that the only path of survival for the galaxy is an alliance between Szarek’s Necrons and the Imperium under Guilliman. Both are reasonable leaders open to inter-species pacts, and both are intelligent enough to understand that alone neither humanity nor the Necrons can stand against the Great Devourer and the Ruinous Powers.
Imotekh’s logic makes little sense, Silent King fails as he damned them in metal bodies, then on the other hand how dare the Silent King try and reverse the process.
It would surprise me if the Silent King had a ace up his sleeve, a deletion protocol or some other super weapon he as his disposal. But even the thought of destroying him would be a set back at this point.
My biggest issue is that the Pariah Nexus is going to end with a decisive Imperium win. And heres how it’ll play out. It makes perfect sense. He is loyal to his dynasty, and while he was against being transferred, now that he is he's not taken his new form for granted. His new goal is for the necrons to ascend into a state of pure energy, not return to the fragile, mortal flesh he left behind long ago.
