Def from rags to riches. I think you're on-point regarding the power creep in ES3. It really is the most satisfying. I find myself having to set limits on my play style in order to pace out the progression and not break the later installments (I'm lookin' at you, Skyrim.)
On a separate note, if you installed on an SSD, load/saves would take a fraction of the time!

I didn't have an SSD at the time I started uploading onto this and I'm a little worried about reinstalling the game JUST in case something confusing happens with the graphical mods I have installed... BUT it's ok! I'll make a point to go and play OpenMW and try to get myself all caught up and go that way!
Also, glad to see that I'm not the only one that agrees with the power creep in Morrowind being outstanding. It's one of the few times in an Elder Scrolls game I've felt genuinely powerful through my own hardships and adventures!

Midgame Morrowind is probably my favorite part. Plus, the eastern coast of Vvardenfell is such a unique atmosphere. Island hopping can get a bit tedious and treacherous, but the scenery and architecture is facinating. Oh, and Minecraft is always cool lol

In a weird way, I think Morrowind has the most 'fantastical' of environments out of all the main-line Elder Scrolls so far! It honestly feels like you've been teleported to another world. Oblivion, Daggerfall, and Skyrim all have that kind of 'classic' fantasy feel to them but Morrowind is almost on a whole another level.

@@YourAverageBo absolutely, the closest thing they've done since would be the shivering isles, and even then, it was done with a wink and a nod, where morrowind feels alien but authentic and lived in, in my opinion.
