all right... I know I shouldn't but I'll share my trick to quickly calculate pot odds. just 'cause I want to see Gary finally win some hands.
if bet % of pot 1/4, then pot odds ratio 1/5, then our required equity 1/6
    other example
if bet % of pot 1/2, then pot odds ratio 1/3, then our required equity 1/4
always works if the numerator is 1
if numerator is not 1 you need to add the numerator to the denominator
if bet % of pot 3/4, then pot odds ratio 3/7, then our required equity 3/10
you'll notice it matches your results perfectly
    gotta love math

As a training exercise - I get it, but let's be honest - who is doing all these multi-layered calculations at the table under (time) pressure? or when playing multiple tables online?

I understand why you convert to percentages, but I think "three to one" is still useful.
Sometimes I think of it as "I have to win one out of every four times", which can be easier than "25%".
That said, each person should do whatever they are most comfortable with, and can do sitting at the table, not what I think is easiest. (Frankly, I do both - whatever I can do faster for that situation.)

Don't go to the website expecting to get that $50 off the monthly lab or basic plo course. Because they are forcing the 25% on all products, the aforementioned items are $75... but the "levelup" won't work on products under $99. So while it's great you're offering to give me a $99 course for $49, unfortunately you're forcing me to buy the course at $75 instead.

Sorry for the confusion! If you wait until our Cyber Week sale is over on December 10th, the $50 off LEVELUP coupon will work! In the meantime, everything is simply 25% off.
