Thank you guys for an awesome podcast. I won my first MTT this weekend after several in-the-money and final tables position and plenty of sit and go wins, but struggling to be consistent.
Recently I've been crushing mtts! My second biggest cash and 3 other final tables this past week! Moved up stakes and almost doubled my bankroll Happy the hard work is paying off
how long have you been playing before getting your first final table? How'd you learn exactly how to go through a mtt tournament? hard to find a start to finish guide/tutorial lol
@@FenrirFinance I actually won my first MTT tournament after about 2 months of playing. It was only a 200-person field but still impressive. I learned mainly from trial and error as well as studying the game through coaching classes and videos on TH-cam lol. For the most part, I have had a very unlucky career. I would say I have missed out on life-changing money about four times now from bad beats. Still haven't won a tournament in about 6 months of playing daily so it's been pretty bad. With that said I still study everyday
@@spec404 Wow that's awesome, congrats!! I'll keep at it as well. I entered an in person event and got right outside of the money bubble, which wasn't bad for my first event but seeing these pro players consistently cash makes me wonder what the missing piece is!
@@FenrirFinance if you know what you are doing than in May just be volume and variance. The amount of luck involved tournament to tournament heavily outweighs skill. In the long run everything comes down to skill.
MTTs are miles easier than cash games in the current state of poker. The amount of mistakes and overplays people make especially deep stacked is insane.
Best I've seen in 10 yrs + since my WSOP cash @ Bally's After Harrington Volume IV; my Tournament Bible (& still is GTO amended). Thx and nothing missing here , Bravo!!!
I agree, but Elias is one of the few I would take a course to listen to. He is one of the best MTT tourney players out there that started from small buy ins
If anyone has any questions about the new course, feel free to reply here. I worked with Darren/Nick as they made it and have watched most of the content.
@@Dynamice1337 I guarantee it will (and you can have your money back if it doesn't). The course is super digestible and actually fun to watch at times, and there's amazing nuggets of wisdom peppered throughout the entire thing.
@@you3bi4b both. They actually review an online final table in which Darren won with lots of tough players. And Nick's ICM videos will be great for technical online players.

Lmao winners just start selling courses but they will NEVER teach you the real strategies they use to WIN if so they would be broke and everyone would be winners 😂😂😂😂 so if your a winner in poker tournaments…start selling courses on TH-cam just say BASIC things and you got ama nice additional revenue stream😂
Yeah, chess grandmasters will never create courses on how to beat chess or they will just be giving away their strategies... Except they do. Go back to your hole.
Why would he ever give his REAL WINNING STRATEGY? Just a way for these guys to get paid because they r winners and just say basic things and get people to pay them to learn 😂😂 winners will NEVER GIVE THEIR STRAT OUT EVEN FOR $$ ESPECIALLY IF IT WORKS

this is pure gold. thank you!

Really helpfull . 4 days in a row really far with a place 1 , 2 place 2 and a 61. Bankroll going up 😁
Thank you! I hope to implement these strategies at my next tourney. ♠️♥️♦️♣️

Thk u guys a ton..... this was EXTREMELY helpful ❤
One big plug for a course
I agree, but Elias is one of the few I would take a course to listen to. He is one of the best MTT tourney players out there that started from small buy ins
How do these concepts scale down to a weekly freezeout with say 20-30ish players max, paying out 4 or 5?
Thanks a lot. Guess I have to find another form of poker to go after now.
This video is absolutely awesome, thank-you for ur time!
Great content! 😎😎
GREAT VIDEO
I'm a 65% mtt cash rate, and it's 90% all in or fold heads up.
I'm horrible at cash games
Bout to try some of these tactics tonight in this 15 guaranteed tourney
How did you go?

I'm a good rec player who has a 50% cash rate in WSOP events (2/4) lol. Will this course help me?

It's it for live tournaments only? Or for online MTTs as well? Or applicable to both?

Do the ranges in the course also account for field left %? Or are all the ranges in ChipEV?
Thanks for sharing 😊
he's right. we study all day how to play against linus and we sit on the table to play against ilary zigmund lol
And the worst is you are going to lose against both Linus and Ilary

Hmmm, pretty sure i paid for a Petrangelo course from you guys a few years ago 🤔
I mean to be honest most of the video is just an ad for the course.
Pretty standard stuff!
100% agree
Man that ICM button vs sb on the final table against the big stack and it cost me up 100 buy ins

You just need to run better, that course comes out next week...
Rungood course😅
Petrangelo's Triton record is appalling, must be variance I guess.
What is your hendon page?
So this is just an ad for the $1000 course instead of a vid that actually has real substance… gotcha. Off to another channel
Instead of instantly trying to sell a course and have people subscribe, how about you just put out the value and people will decide for themselves
This was a huge waste of time
