Got my husband back into rc cars he was doing it when I met him but then with kids we could not afford to keep him in it. Now though not only him but I'm gotten into it and we are having the best to time with it. He fixes them and I paint them like doing our bodies.

When Kev says that someone is HARD on their RCs, you know that they have no mercy! Stempe never fails to deliver the carnage! I was cringing the whole time, from when he bodily ripped the Xmaxx out of the package, flinging it into the Land Rover...Stempe has zero throttle control! I don't know how he can treat his RC like that, I couldn't! Anyway, he was having fun, but that fun comes at a price!

I'm in Dubbo, we only have jaycar. Thankfully we live in times where online sales and the internet make things easy. I've purchased from Model Flight before but didn't know about Hobby Habit, I'll check'm out. Cheers

Great video kev . now he should probably get some belted wheels. And RPM hub carriers and bearings with nut and bolt hingpins. That will make the truck last longer

for the project 203 miles per hour it did not need to be heavy but more aerodynamic because the fast cars are lighter than the normal cars so you will not take the car away from the tachit at some point

new ideas? demolition derby of some sort? how much can u upgrade some entry level car? like teton? where is the limit of "no sense" because of "too much powa"? difference between two of the same cars, but one with full aluminium parts and 2nd one with RPM palstic for example? speed, handling, bashing.. -) good work, kev, keep it up!
I think once all the little quibbles are sorted out that truck will be well nigh Stemp proof.

The xmaxx is tough except for the spur,pinion,front and rear hub bearings and the servo,had to change/upgrade all these within the first 2 weeks of owning it, I'm now on week 3 and about to go see what breaks today😁
Also if you buy one brand new and if and when your servo goes,Traxxas will replace the gears with upgraded metal ones if you ask as its cheaper than them replacing the whole servo,had mine back within a week as well😁

Renault R5 Turbo body! The 1:1 was an OG widow maker! I’ve tried explaining to other Americans what you lucky Brits could buy across the pond (especially from Ford) and they look at me like I have three heads. Just some examples, we got the LeCar, not the R5. And anything from Ford that said Escort or Capri were just anemic, pathetic economy cars with dismal reliability. No one really knows the word Cosworth here…
