This Mickey is pure evil and only cares about one end and that’s making Disney as large and profitable as possible. Sure, he’s gotta appeal to modern sensibilities. But he doesn’t truly care about you, about me, or anyone. He is the ultimate capitalist. Being outwardly evil would take away from profits. But on the inside, the magic, it’s just about getting you into a seat at the theater, getting a ticket to a park or purchasing a subscription to Disney+. And in this grand vision, why would Mickey stop at entertainment? That’s because it’s what’s most profitable now while a working middle class exists to foot the bill. But Mickey, Mickey is eternal. He would only love to control all resources, food, water, fuel, land, you. The coming climate and refugee crisis, resource wars. Who wins? The one with the most. And Mickey, he’s won the hearts and minds. He’s got the capital. You thought Disney World was a park? Ha.
That 20 mill check was actually a cruel joke. Bob's trapped in the middle of the desert with all the money a person could want, and nowhere to buy water.
It's not too bad here at least he does still come across more like the friendly happy Mickey for the most part who's just really pissed at all the damage Chapek did. But there's still a few lines I roll my eyes at in irritation.
It's actually pretty refreshing to see a "corporate Mickey" that genuinely wants the best for the business, and isn't just a metaphor for corporate greed. And the best thing about it is that Mickey's totally in the right here.

@@elsuperbeasto4265 100% this the company dove head first into politics. It's a children's movie company stay politically neutral. It was Iger's decision to green light all the movies that flopped and the other bad decisions. Bob Chapek was canned because he wanted to stop the hyper politicizing of Disney so people around him wanted him gone. The funny part is even Iger sees the writing on the wall and said they will be ratcheting back their political agenda. He made statements to say they will be moving back to political neutrality. I doubt they will though. Disney's employees are overwhelmly ideology driven. Most of those people care less about entertainment and more about pushing an agenda.
@@elsuperbeasto4265 Iger was CEO of Disney for 15 years, the problems didn't start until 2017 whne Chapek started taking on duties with the intentiont to then become CEO in 2020. And remember most of Disney's most profitable years were under Iger's tenue.
Rumors are that the CFO invested Disney money into FTX under Iger and Blackrock’s recommendations and getting Chapek fired was to cover her own ass when SBF tanked It.
Honestly? Mickey always has seemed like the reasonable one in the shows, becoming more chaotic with the new shorts. But with this reasonable persona, combined with him being the face of the corporate head of Disney, it doesn't seem out of character that he is as mad as he is with Chapek. Even swearing, I find it logical in some ways that he would be mad at the fact that they put the least subtle person in charge of the most cynical company in the world.
This was brilliant, but you missed one golden opportunity. You should’ve had Mickey quote that line from the Incredibles. “I’m not happy, Bob. *Not. Happy.“* Also, when talking about f**king with the magic, I thought they’d bring up how Chapek said he thinks all adults hate animation and thinks it’s for babies to justify the crappy live action remakes. I’m nearly thirty and I LOVE animation more than live action any day, so that comment touched a serious nerve in me. Walt himself even said: “Animation offers a medium of story telling and visual entertainment which can bring pleasure and information to people of all ages everywhere in the world.” So basically, Chapek pissed on the grave of Mickey’s father by dismissing animation as ‘kids stuff.’
I would've done better than that. I would've had OG Genie, Simba, Dumbo, Mulan, Beast, Cinderella, Maleficent, Mad Hatter, and Kim Possible come and and tell him off for making live action remakes of them. With Chapek saying "well, at least the new guys still like me!" Cue Anne Boonchuy, Elsa, Luz Noceda, Mirabel, Miguel, Wreck It Ralph, Dipper and Mabel, Joy and Sadness, Judy and Nick, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Star Butterfly all ready to tell Chapek off for what he said about their animated content, and all the meddling Disney has done to them over the past years, like making rushed sequels and mistreating their showruns, causing the lines between animation fans who hate new project and those who love both the old and new to become more divisive.
Yeah whatever you think about walt Disney himself he knew both about animation and bussiness than everyone else, and if he heard that he would have order public execution for him
It could’ve went like Mickey: Bobby, Bobby, Bobby… what an unfortunate situation we’ve found ourselves in. And after only, how long has it been Bob? Bob Chapek: Why are you unhappy? Mickey: Disney is not doing well Bob. Not doing well at all. *and then the discussion continues*

Chapek is actually getting $23 million in exit payment. He also still has a pension and Disney stocks. So in the end, he'll probably end up getting way more, especially if Iger is able to bring Disney stock prices back up.
I lost it when he handed him the cheque for $20million. It's crazy that they can pay that kind of money to someone and see that as a better option than letting them stay in the job. Makes you realise how much money the CEO gets paid with salary and bonuses etc combined.
I always love how little the Warp Zone cares about pissing off Disney and exposes normies to the truth behind these entertainment companies in late-stage capitalism. Also, this was super well-acted and reminds me why I became a Warp Zone fan all those years ago.

Long time watcher, first time commenter here. I loved this video! Amazing acting, and the Mickey Mouse dialog was perfect! FU Bob Chapek! Long Live Bob Iger!
I'm honestly sick of Mickey Mouse being treated like the evil boss of Disney. He's just as much an employee as everyone else. If anything, HE reports to the CEO, meaning HE is a victim.
Exactly! I'm tired of Mickey being portrayed as the corrupt and evil boss of Disney. If anything, he should be portrayed as a victim of or a scapegoat used by Disney. If it wasn't for Disney changing copyright law, Mickey would be free right now!
Mickey toils tirelessly, for over a century now, producing content for their brand identity, suffering through his bleak eternity, for the men in suits refuse to let him die.
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
As much as a hack Chapek is, do you really think Iger's return would repair Disney's reputation? The very reason why Iger retired was that he realized he was making the company into a hollow corporate shell of its former self and hoped his successor wouldn't make the same mistakes. But you know what? Iger hasn't apologized. He's still going forward with more soulless remakes and hackneyed soft reboots of old live action movies from the '90s and 2000s. He's still replacing beloved long-lived attractions at Disney parks with temporarily relevant branded shit. He's still agressively anti-public domain. And he's probably still going to buy more companies to expand his empire.
You forget Iger was Disney CEO for 15 years, the problems didn't start until 2017 when Chapek started taking over responsibilites to then become CEO in 2020. Many of the failed project Iger is credited for was pushed out by Chapek with zero changes or pivoting because the company spent money on it. At least Star Wars and Marvel are making up for the shortcomings. Let’s just hope the Muppets doesn’t get the short end of the stick. I really enjoyed Muppets Haunted Mansion and Earth to Ned.
@@blackdemonknight yet you forgot why was the real reason why Chepek was fired. 2023 was going yo be a year of "nipping" certain LGTB+ members from the Park Attractions & Writers to make Disney more "Family Oriented". As Mickey said: Don't f**k with the magic.
The only inaccurate thing about this video is that Bob Iger set the things that caused Bob Chapek to fail. Plus Disney don't care if customers don't like their product.
That’s why it’s genius. What better way to portray how scummy the guy is than by painting him as the guy who had nothing to do with it. That’s big brain writing. So simple yet it’s ingenious
Forgetting that Bob Iger was CEO for 15 years and the problems didn't start until 2017 when Bob Chapek started taking over responsibilities to finally become the CEO in 2020. And many of the failed projects Bob Iger is credited for was pushed out by Bob Chapek with zero changes or pivoting because the company spent money on it. The equivalent is EA pushing a video game beta to customers without fixing the bugs. Sure, lets blame Bob Iger when Bob Chapek pushed unfinished/controversial projects out to the public without a pulse. Forgetting that the most profitable years at Disney were under Bob Iger's tenure. The unfortunate reality is Bob Capek screwed things up so bad things might not be fixable, or will take at least a decade to undo the damage.
Man, the acting here is amazing. Even though they're heartless businessesmen, you really empathize with Iger and Mickey here. You feel their frustration because you too find it hard to believe that Chapek's been so incompetent
lets not also forget the part where Bob Chapek funded the "Don't say Gay" Bill, and is possibly the reason why great shows like The Owl House and Amphibia got canned and shortened. Anyway, amazing video, props to the actors and the guy who voiced Mickey, this type of content is what inspires me to do things like voice acting.
Guy doing Mickey voice is also the guy who played Bob Chapek. Funnily enough, both Chapek and Iger are played by 2 Michaels: Schroder and Davis, respectively.
This video was spot on. Chapek did screw things up big time. Even Mickey knew a screw up. Mickey was the BEST! I love the reference to Knott's Berry Farm since it's only 15 minutes away at the most from DL. You guys nailed it perfectly! 😁😂
Mickey: Let's not forget about your comments on animation, Bob. "Adults don't like animation?!" REALLY?! Need I remind you that I'm animated by Walt Disney himself? Animation is a part of our company's legacy for kids AND adults. Let's not forget about animation from OTHER companies as well that are for adults, like Attack on Titan? Bob: B-But Mickey, A Strange World, p-people didn't- Mickey: Because you BOTCHED it's advertisement. Hardly anyone knew about it when it was in theaters! Bob I.: It's like he wants it to fail. Mickey: I think so too, Bob. and don't even get me started on the Owl House!
This could have been inside Mickey’s office, but then again this was too personal as well gruesome for it to take place inside. Outside and no witnesses is the best way to go.
Funny thing is all the movies and TV shows we're approved by Bob Iger before he left Disney may have gotten rid of the CEO that took the full force of a stock disaster but they brought back the architect of the problems Disney is having Chapeg was less subtle Iger is the slow shark
I wish they would fire Iger, too. Idc if he signed a contract to stay until 2026. Disney has been doing worse than ever, and that didn’t change after they fired Chapek. The Bobs killed Disney!
Don’t go away just yet! Another episode of Breaking Bibbidi Bobbidi Bad is coming up next! Followed by The Owl House! You’re watching Disney Channel! *Dun dun dundun!!!
Frankly, Iger is the culprit of many of Disney's problems. Many things Cheapek inherited from him. Among other things, buying IP studios for which Disney has no idea and serves more to remove competition than profit, which did not bring much anyway because most of the employees who made Pixar great left the company. Changing the manager to the old one won't do anything because he was patient zero. In general, it will rarely get better until managers have limited terms of office after which they will be paid according to how much the company has made. Such a work model forces managers to sink the company for short-term profits. And why would they try to make the next manager earn more at their expense.
I think any options where managers get cash based on current performance wouldn't be good enough, because it would still promote a fairly short term profit over long term profit mindset, what they should pay those managers in instead are something that would force them to think beyond their time as manager, offer them something along the line of an investment in the company, something that will pay up only in the long term. I don't know maybe some stock they contractually can only cash out after a decade, or a continued % revenue, you need some incentive to make them be invested in the continued success of the company rather than in the immediate profiteering.
kind of agree until the last bit "they will be paid according to how much the company has made. Such a work model forces managers to sink the company for short-term profits." that would very much force them to focus on short term profits because that, in your plan, is what they will take after their term is over. Personally I think a more worker-owned collective would be much better, which would share profits with ALL workers. It would give workers incentive to not only maintain profits but also reputation. Maybe combine that with term limits for CEOs or worker elected CEOs.
Damn the storyline was so wrong its more like Bob Iger fucking up throwing all the shit to Chapek, then proceed to takeover Chapek for all the shit he did you guys do know that the mess Disney is in is Iger's doing.

Well, he did curse and say F**k. And I’ve been wanting some Disney characters to swear.
Normally, he's a happy person, but when you see that your company's been downsized thanks to Bob Chapek, this is the result.
*Not. Happy.“*
Also, when talking about f**king with the magic, I thought they’d bring up how Chapek said he thinks all adults hate animation and thinks it’s for babies to justify the crappy live action remakes. I’m nearly thirty and I LOVE animation more than live action any day, so that comment touched a serious nerve in me. Walt himself even said:
“Animation offers a medium of story telling and visual entertainment which can bring pleasure and information to people of all ages everywhere in the world.”
So basically, Chapek pissed on the grave of Mickey’s father by dismissing animation as ‘kids stuff.’
Oh man. If they brought that up, I would have expected Mickey to literally jump out of the screen and go full Goodfellas on Chapeks ass.
That last one is where Chapek drew the last straw!
I would've done better than that. I would've had OG Genie, Simba, Dumbo, Mulan, Beast, Cinderella, Maleficent, Mad Hatter, and Kim Possible come and and tell him off for making live action remakes of them. With Chapek saying "well, at least the new guys still like me!"
Cue Anne Boonchuy, Elsa, Luz Noceda, Mirabel, Miguel, Wreck It Ralph, Dipper and Mabel, Joy and Sadness, Judy and Nick, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Star Butterfly all ready to tell Chapek off for what he said about their animated content, and all the meddling Disney has done to them over the past years, like making rushed sequels and mistreating their showruns, causing the lines between animation fans who hate new project and those who love both the old and new to become more divisive.
Yeah whatever you think about walt Disney himself he knew both about animation and bussiness than everyone else, and if he heard that he would have order public execution for him
It could’ve went like
Mickey: Bobby, Bobby, Bobby… what an unfortunate situation we’ve found ourselves in. And after only, how long has it been Bob?
Bob Iger: Two years
Mickey: Two f***ing years, oh boy. That’s gotta be a record.

And many of the failed projects Bob Iger is credited for was pushed out by Bob Chapek with zero changes or pivoting because the company spent money on it. This is the best Warp Zone video is a while. I hope this ultra cinematic satire continues because hot damn you guys a great at it.
You know Iger was responsible for a bunch of the stuff we blame Chapek.
Except losing special privileges in the state of Florida. That's all Chapek.
Good points. And yes Pixar :((( so sad Pixar movies haven’t been the same. Also all use same cartoon/animation style design. Don’t like it
Yes, Iger isn't a saint, however, as he said, it would all happen as a slow burn, rather than a sudden dodgeball hitting your face.
kind of agree until the last bit "they will be paid according to how much the company has made.
Warp Zone does it again. That was hilarious.
