The sad part is that I feel like Netflix wastes money on unimportant things. As much as the Russo brothers thriller film with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans sounds great, I see no reason to spend 200-250 million dollars on it (the budget of a MCU film). Netflix spends too much on stars and not enough on "blockbuster content". Where's their Narnia show that they announced a few years ago? The Avatar show might not happen now that the showrunners of the original show left.

Because of all the deranged weirdos in America who sincerely believe in junk like someone engineering COVID, I don’t find this aspect of the skit funny. A lot of people are stuck in a conspiratorial mindset, and I worry about internet trends riling them up. That is true and it just hurts me to be called a cult member by other people and thinking that all Disney is perfect. I’m a fan of Disney, but not everything they put out was perfect. After the Investor Day, I am still happy to be a fan of the House of Mouse. I do wish Netflix and the other streamers all the best though, and I want theaters back soon.

5:26 2024 Update about the Marvel shows, and none of them quite panned out like we hoped for since most of them aren’t even really episodes of a TV Show. But more like 50 minute segments of a 9 hour movie. And it they ended up making the franchise much more bloated and caused the fans to burn out a lot faster than expected. Especially when lied about how these shows “aren’t mandatory material” looking at you, The Marvels.
I doubt it. Not with Warner Brothers announcing that for the entirety of 2021 that all of their theatrical releases would also be on HBO Max for 31 days, day of release for theatrical releases of those movies.
Part three. People prefer are and still prefer using Netflix because of all of those sweet juicy anime, cartoon network shows, and Netflix original properties(the good ones anyways)and Dick's plan had completely fallen apart, as he now deals with the Marvel Movies are no longer a must watch (last movie I watched was Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, and that's SONY!) Well I am gonna give it to Disney on this one, heck I am not even surprised if they’re acquiring more IPs and companies to join them I’m pretty sure in a very near future we’ll have Marvel, DC, Transformers, and other universes under Disney. However Netflix has the advantage in creativity and originality in their content, I mean to come up with series like Narcos and Stranger Things that’s no joke. Also they have acquired some of the best directors and show creators in the world so I will say the streaming war is far from over.

That is true and it just hurts me to be called a cult member by other people and thinking that all Disney is perfect. I’m a fan of Disney, but not everything they put out was perfect. After the Investor Day, I am still happy to be a fan of the House of Mouse. I do wish Netflix and the other streamers all the best though, and I want theaters back soon.

@@ericstorm6582 I think that Disney+ and Netflix both have their positives and negatives. If you want to see a lot of new stuff, then Disney+ isn't gonna be that interesting. But if you're looking for a cheap way to watch all the movies from your childhood again and again, then Disney+ is very interesting. That's why I have both.

5:26 2024 Update about the Marvel shows, and none of them quite panned out like we hoped for since most of them aren’t even really episodes of a TV Show. But more like 50 minute segments of a 9 hour movie. And it they ended up making the franchise much more bloated and caused the fans to burn out a lot faster than expected. Especially when lied about how these shows “aren’t mandatory material” looking at you, The Marvels.

Well I am gonna give it to Disney on this one, heck I am not even surprised if they’re acquiring more IPs and companies to join them I’m pretty sure in a very near future we’ll have Marvel, DC, Transformers, and other universes under Disney. However Netflix has the advantage in creativity and originality in their content, I mean to come up with series like Narcos and Stranger Things that’s no joke. Also they have acquired some of the best directors and show creators in the world so I will say the streaming war is far from over.
