At this point I wouldn’t blame them. The problem is newer cars with push start systems are incredibly easy to steal. Cars with transponder chips built into an old fashioned key still prove to be the most hassle even for professionals. It's not impossible but it adds time and hassle which make them move onto push start vehicles. Buy a good kill switch or take your fuel pump fuse with you when you park the car someplace.
I know there’s no permanent solution to this, but you have to be a real idiot to spend a lot of money on a car (especially the ones that get stolen) and not have a tracking device or a kill switch for the fuel pump
A thief doesn’t care about the longevity of your engine. If you kill the fuel pump they’re gonna crank it until it stops cranking or the cops come. It’s better to wire the horn to the ignition switch by a little toggle switch. Might flood your engine but it’ll honk every time they try and start it.

@@Gr33dy214 Wheel lock is a good idea. Tracker signals are relatively easily blocked (altough I don't know if there are some which are difficult). I guess the easiest thing would be to get a very well hidden killswitch installed that you just hit when you parked it so it doesn't even start up

Dam really
Lmao 😂🤣
You shouldn’t skip out on buying your dream car just because of a few no-life thieves. Keep it in the garage. Install a GPS.
It appears that many people also take out their fuse boxes for the same reason so I suspect that many thieves bring their own.
@@metallicaguy123 and have good insurance so even if it is stolen you get a fat paycheck.
How the tables have turned! Thieves stealing from the dealership instead of the dealership stealing from you.
At this point I wouldn’t blame them. They be charging 70k for a Hellcat when for 10k less, you could get a C8 Corvette that would eat that thing for breakfast in the corners and maybe on the strip, and for less than that you could probably get a used 2013 GT500 that can keep up with said Hellcat no problem.

I know there’s no permanent solution to this, but you have to be a real idiot to spend a lot of money on a car (especially the ones that get stolen) and not have a tracking device or a kill switch for the fuel pump
If they are fully insured it doesnt really matter
A thief doesn’t care about the longevity of your engine. If you kill the fuel pump they’re gonna crank it until it stops cranking or the cops come. It’s better to wire the horn to the ignition switch by a little toggle switch. Might flood your engine but it’ll honk every time they try and start it.
