questions; how do you save the video if there is an incident , is the video on the card only ? download via wifi to computer ? (like dash cams) or is this a subscription based system back to the manufacturers computers ?, Cheers, Garry
Hi have you or anyone watching thats installed this had the issue when playing back footage with it coming up saying "Decrypting from local storage " is there any fix or help around this if so !! any help greatly appreciated thanks
I have two questions;
1- during the 24/7 mode, will the light be on all night? Will it record cold or B&W at night?
2- does the camera support SMTP? I want use it in “Home Assistant “ using “SCRYPTED”
Looks good, I have same door bell too. I'm interested to know how long the battery last between charges. A inbuilt or remote solar panel would have been great to remove the charging need, though if it last for serval months on a single charge I’d be happy enough with that. Let us know later with an update. House looking good, no cylinder mower this season 😢🤣

I haven’t used a solar one yet. I was thinking about changing some of my others over as they need charging.
I have a dumb question for anybody who currently owns this. I wanted to replace the light above my garage with this security camera to monitor the front of my home. Currently I have to activate the light inside my home via a switch for the light to go on. If I replace that light with this security camera, does the switch have to be on full time for the camera to be powered or is the wiring sufficient to run the camera full time without the need to switch it on? I believe there are 2 lights (1 on my porch and 1 on my garage) which turn on when the switch is activated (front yard lights). How does this work?
Has to be powered all the time if you want it on all the time. so switch would have to stay on.

Would it turn on with people walking past on the road?
You can adjust the motion detection. It was picking up people walking past on the road.

You made that look too easy, unfortunalety I have a 4inch wide 1/2 inch deep hole for my wires, not deep enough to fully recess a junction box and maybe too wide to just mount to wood .
