Bruh you sent my brain back to the early 00s with the Taina mention. I still remember the theme song. I haven't listened to it in years.
Tania was goated, Mami I dead-ass forgot about the show.
The OG Blues Clues with Steve will always be one of the greatest children's shows in my mind.
Also, Steve Burns' birthday just passed. It was on October 9th-happy belated birthday.
He carried Blue’s Clues, but it wasn’t the same after he left.
While it took some adjusting due to the abscence of Moose and Zee, I enjoyed the early days of the 2012-2017 version of NickJr especially the little crossover bumpers where they would all get together and sing a song from a show that relates to a themed month. Those ads have inspired me to write a story that’s an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland with Dora as Alice and various NickJr characters as the residents of Wonderland.
Oh, Bobby Floyd, That’s The Voice of Nick on CBS!❤️📺🎶👍🏻
Randy Quaid.
"Thomas & the Magic Station" XD! Now wouldn't that be something?
8:55 The donkey sound for Stimpy's goofy look had me dying in laughter.
I Love Stephanie from LazyTown 💗
NICKELODEON STUDIOS: I WASN'T ALIVE BACK THEN BUT THIS SH*T MEAN SOMETHING TO ME!!
Where have you been?
Moose and Zee was my OGs and will always be my day 1s
The Voice Actress of Little Bear went on to voice Bridgette in Total Drama and Lily in 2019 Ice Princess Lily BTW.
man we got a goated video from none other than StagesHand
My favorite childhood shows are:
Yo Gabba Gabba
The Wonder Pets
Blue's Clues
Blue's Room
Jack's Big Music Show
NickMOM?😂 The Hallmark Channel would like a word
It's already dead.
I’m automatically taken back to 00 with this
8:54
Actually, it wasn’t Ren and Stimpy that caused Blue to become a dog; they were more concerned about a pilot called Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle and its cat character (and Nick never picked up that pilot btw), as well as a general saturation of cats in animation caused by Garfield and Friends. Ironic considering the later introduction of Periwinkle
Thanks for clarifying
Also, periwinkle was one of my favorites
In The UK:
Nick Jr. has British Dubs Including Thomas and Friends, Super Why!, Dinosaur Train, Humf, Roary The Racing Car, Bob The Builder, Maisy and We Had Kevin instead of Steve in The UK Version of Blue's Clues!
All my daughter watches is shows on Paramount+ that me and my wife grew up with... thank the lord we didn't have to get hit by the Cocomelon virus
I hate Cocomellon. Blegggh!!! Also, what shows out of curiosity?
Bless your family for NOT putting your kid on to cocomelon. If we can get the next generation to watch what was. It can turn around the whole tide of how media is.
I miss the early 2010s nick jr😭 it was my childhood personally
Yeah, one of the blocks I watched growing up as a kid back in the late 90s-2000s on Nickelodeon! 😀👍🏽
Nick Jr had so many timeless shows for me growing up from the later seasons of Gullah Gullah to blues clues to the backyardigans. Now all their doing is just having paw patrol get spammed to takeover half of the Nickelodeon schedule from 7am-1:30pm😅while Peppa pig is still going strong with season 8. This is mostly when Nick Jr fell off by not having variety for their own brand cause they are just stuck to what property franchises works that made them shutdown the noggin block. What caught me off guard was that they first brought in Baby shark as a new show which then ended after season 3 and now brought back Dora in a new series art style😅.
I like Wubbzy A LOT (if you don't know, that's a reference to a line in the show itself).
Also the Steve era of Blue's Clues, and Backyardigins, are also the best.
Even though they are grievances with Nick Jr., at least they committed less mistakes than Nicktoons (aka the cartoon graveyard)
God i miss the Nickelodeon of the 90's. That was my childhood.
Nick Jr helped with the 60s Alvin Show more than Weinerville.
Did you know that Sarah Podemski The Voice Of Sky also voiced Rintoo from Ni Hao KaiLan
Nick jr. was great when it had “YO GABBA GABBA!” the original from 2007 not the Yo Gabba Gabbaland on Apple TV+
Yo Gabba Gabba had a reboot???
@@melrose246 yes it has but you have pay $4.99 to access it and the show host lance Robson is not in the reboot
I didn't even know that.
Eating dinner and watching a new StagesHand’s video. A great Friday night 🎉.
Request, why the Qubo channel died?
Great video! I remember loving Nick Jr as a kid, and I still like the shows I love growing up as a Gen Z kid (Blue's Clues, Franklin, Little Bear, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi etc...), while liking some new shows that I got into as an adult.
Honestly, because of the lightbulb in the beginning of your videos, I think I recommend for you creating a history of Disney's One Saturday Morning, and its sister network, One Too, because I think they're not often brought up enough even though these were popular in the 90's. I mean, this is where they had Recess, Pepper Ann, the Disney era of Doug, The Weekenders, and House of Mouse to name a few.
What about The Fresh Beat Band....The Fresh Beat Band debuted in 2009 and was the last new show to air on Noggin before the rebrand to Nick Jr
Used to love that show
Oh man I totally loved The Busy World of Richard Scary, Little Bear and Franklin on Nick Jr back in the 90's and The Backyardigans was a sorta witty smaller kids and preschool show but after my time. ❤
Nick jr honestly just died when they stopped rerunning older shows, what would happen to Nick jr in the future, weird Directions from Nickelodeon, which would be stepping into webtoons, which would be a failure… and then getting taken over by paw patrol…
Frr❤
@@TajmirTheRandomFan , Nothing wrong about Paw Patrol. It’s just encouraging teamwork and cooperation. It’s just Nick milking it too much.
I wonder if "The Paw Standard" has been coined yet kind of like "The Sponge Standard".
Face- *trumpet sounds*
You did ya job big homie... I salute you.
I born August 29 2003 i got very sick with heart
"Thomas and the Magic Station"
Damn I don't remember watching that one...
As someone who works at a school, I’m sad to report that paw patrol fell off. Bluey is the latest big thing but even that is starting to fade away to time. Very sad that Nickelodeon is only focused on profit. I’m sure a block dedicated to reruns of classic Nick Jr shows would be a big hit like the Splat.
@@CupofJoe_93 I will agree with you that Bluey definitely is not as good and this is coming from someone who likes paw patrol and bluey paw patrol will have a good episode now and then more good ones recently when they change the animation but I feel like Bluey is starting to go the same route as Ludo found their golden ticket and is milking bluey now which honestly I saw coming it was only a matter of time before it happened more money more greed
Man I know the research was exhausting!!
Bro all for the fans
Here's what's funny is Nick had to fall so Nick Jr could rise and weirdly the Nick Jr channel actually has a veriety compared to the Nickelodeon counterpart
I miss this I wish I was young again 😔
Nice one. Keep up the excellent work, Red. :)
19:06 I hated this when I was 4💀
I didn't really know much about it at first but I got the impression it was supposed to be kind of like Nick@Nite. But what the problem is, is that what makes that block work is that the age group isn't too far off. Whereas, with NickMom, Nick Jr. is for 2-5 year-olds and it was for young adult women. Way too far off. Also, not every child's bedtime is 9, and even if their bedtime IS 9, several things can delay a child's bedtime, including being sick or injured, or a kid being too stubborn to go to bed on time. And anyways, what adult is gonna think to themselves, "Hey, I wonder if Nick Jr.'s got some quality programming for me tonight. Better check it out. It's been one crazy day with the kids."
Oh yeah, there's actually an update that someone brought the rights to noggin name. I don't know who
This was on my birthday yesterday ❤🎉 nick jr was my childhood 😭😊
Happy birthday you mean I uploaded on your birthday?
I freakin loved shows like Oswald and Maisy.
Blue's clues was an amazing series
Blue's Clues and even Dora were goated and sweet when I was a little kid bossman. 🐐❤️
The problem with nick jr today is that they focus on shows that are cash grabs based on TH-cam kid stuff like baby shark. And they keep airing paw patrol 24/4
i forgot about that
@StagehandMotel6 also when you go to the noggin website it shows the classic logo with the word rebooting at the bottom. This is because noggin was sold to a mysterious company.
Didn't expect to be trolled in the first 6 seconds
I've noticed a number of their shows have gone down the CGI reboot route (Dora, Backyardigans, and Wonder Pets). While Nick Jr. hasn't exactly suffered as much as its sister channels, it's acting more of the same (as a channel anyway) for playing like the same five shows over and over again. At least children can safely watch those shows growing up instead... Cocomelon...
I don’t think the Wonder Pets reboot will be CGI
Kid Danger: *wearing his mighty pup movie outfit* For the love of Princess Luna, Do not say ANYTHING bad about Nick jr! I love Nick jr. My beloved PAW Patrol is on Nick jr.
Childhood Memories on Nickelodeon
Ahh Nick Jr, so much nostalgia! I remember I ADORED Blue's Clues [and still do, the jokes in some episodes actually still hold up], and I had a TON of VHS tapes with Face. Also, Bob The Builder and Rubbadubbers were some of my first exposures to stop-motion/Claymation. Face, Moose A Moose, and Clay [Playhouse Disney] were my introduction to mascots in general not just TV bumper mascots. I like Paw Patrol, but I am legitimately getting sick of every show on Nick Jr getting moved to bad timeslots or getting cancelled in general just to make room for more Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig. Speaking of Bob The Builder, when I was little my local Chuck E Cheese had a Bob The Builder ride I was OBSESSED with and the only things that could get me off the ride were pizza and if Chuck E [both the walkaround and the animatronic] came out. Chuck E is actually the reason I have a huge interest in animatronics. Super excited for Playhouse Disney, and for any possible mentions of Clay, Bear In The Big Blue House, and Handy Manny. Although I hope Cosgrove Hall's Animal Shelf cartoon gets mentioned as I think Disney specifically wanted the show for the channel and distribution.
LETS GO PLAYHOUSE DISNEY IS NEXTT
1988-1991 Nick Jr. was a gateway drug into anime, because at least 6 of the shows back then were from Japan.
It wasn't long after Face was intoduced that I decided I was too old for Nick Jr. I remember disliking that mascot.
23:18 FORESHADOWING.....
awesome man
Glad you enjoyed it
Can You Now start work on The rise and Fall of The Britt Allcroft Company Video?
Man I wish when they do are new shows that they do it in a more 90s and 2000s type style so it won't just be like every kid show you see on today from Nick Jr, PBS Kids and Disney Junior but you already know they won't do that for obvious reasons but if it's not obvious, it's because they probably want modernized shows which in this case is bad.
Ironic because this came out after the noggin video.
Maybe even do a TLC the learning channel history.
Discovery Kids for a better option.
Just one more preschool channel to cover man! I believe you, you got this! Can’t wait to see it soon!❤
Nice 👍

Patreon Is Coming In This Stageheads Classic Game Room
Blues clues, Gullah Gullah Island, Allegra’s Window, Little Bear, Oswald, LazyTown, Kipper the Dog, Franklin, The Backyardigans, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Amby and Dexter. All God-Tier.
🔥🔥🔥 peak YT back
they also had a saturday morning block called nick jr on cbs. it was launched on September 16, 2000 and it discontinued on September 9, 2006.
21:42 yes when Paw Patrol ends
It’s still airing
@@adamjyuken3449 yes but I'm saying when it ends
@@railcamrailfanner hate to break it to you but that's not going to happen in a while it still makes money for one and two I don't understand the hate for paw patrol it's just a cartoon
@@bingofromblueyfan I never said I hated Paw Patrol I actually think it's the best show out there
@@bingofromblueyfan plus Aaron Judge was on Paw Patrol (Rubble Crew) and a lot of people who love baseball thinks it was an awesome idea
I still hold the 97 to 2003 line-up in a special place in my heart.
I remember watching Nick Jr with some of the Noggin shows back in 2012. Outta all the shows from around that era, Wow Wow Wubbzy, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Ni Hao Kai-Lan were my main favorites with Backyardigans, Bubble Guppies, Little Bill, OG Fresh Beat Band, and so on. Paw Patrol wasn’t bad at first but it pretty much became the Spongebob of Nick Jr
Gullah Gullah Island, Blue's Clues, Little Bear. I was the prime target demographic at the time Nick, Jr. was gaining popularity. I remember all this shows fondly when I was in kindergarden. 😁👏🏻
i miss Face
Another video LES GOOOO!!!! This was my childhood. Also, second comment (I think)
Yes
Yay another video
Nice video
I'm surprised Peppa Pig wasn't mentioned in the video, because Nick Jr has been airing that in the US since 2011 probably.
Peppa Pig was on various channels. Mentioned it during the Tickle U era of Cartoon Network. I focused more on Nick Jr. Originals.
Also, many shows Nick Jr aired in 90s and 2000s, they lost the rights to and went to other networks.
LazyTown, Play With Me Sesame, Bob The Builder, Rubbadubbers, Kipper and 64 Zoo Lane went to Sprout (until Viacom regained the rights to Bob The Builder)
Franklin, Maisy, Rupert, Maggie And The Ferocious Beast and Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends went to Qubo
Pinky Dinky Doo went to HBO
Dude Toon Disney after playhouse
Nick Jr had a variety of good shows like Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets, the Backyardains, Little Bear, Lazy Town, Little Bear and Oswald.
Now the most shows from the network I only hear of is Paw Patrol.
No mention of Max and Ruby and Wubbzy?
its funny thinking about it watching this video but i was a bit older when i watched some of the earlier nick jr. shows, definitely remember little bear, gullah gullah and blue clues, also vaguely recall that worm show you mentioned
The Magic Roundabout (2007 TV show) used to air on Nick Jr. from 2007-10.
All I ever watched from Jr was Gullah, Gullah. There needs to be a reunion
I just wanted to bring this up: Team Umizoomi was NOT the only show to premiere on Nick Playdate. The Fresh Beat Band premiered on August 27, 2009.
Somebody skipped Max and Ruby. 💀
Mentioned In my Nelvana video
I loved Nick Jr. when I was little (I also just liked Nickelodeon in general, but that's besides the point). Little Bear, Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego, Go!, Team Umizoomi, Wow Wow Wubsy!, Bob the Builder, and Kipper DEFINE my childhood! I didn't really think much of NickMom but I was sort of aware it existed. But later, I did some research on it and I KNEW it was a mistake the minute I dove deep into it! Makes me wonder what was going on inside Viacom's heads when making it! Thank god they cancelled that 3 years after it came out because the stuff on that block was WAY TOO inappropriate for kids! Giant mistake! I think you should make an analysis video on it actually.
Actually, even before the Nickelodeon rebrand in September, 2009, earlier that year on January, Nick Jr. Productions was then folded into Nickelodeon Productions and the Nick Jr. block was now just called Nickelodeon or simply Nick.
Soon you should do brown bag production. 😊
It's good to see Nick Jr. still going strong, as evil Nickleodeon still is. I am sure they that it will prosper in the future.
I love Nickelodeon's programming (especially SpongeBob, The Loud House, The Fairly Odd Parents, Blue's Clues, and the older Dan Schneider sitcoms), but they, as a company are greedy, manipulative, and conniving! And they had a freaking child predator working with them (not even gonna say his name since you already know who it is and he literally is the devil of TV), and were completely oblivious to it for years!
@@mooseman3027 I strongly agree with you.
You forgot the fresh beat band
Nick Jr was my favorite channel as a child, still is as I do watch Paw Patrol whenever bored or needing some comfort. But that show also is starting to kill the brand as it's pretty much the only thing that airs nowadays, wish they had more show variety. And yes, it'd be super nice if they continued airing older shows like Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabbs, or Wow Wow Wubbsy, but currently, it's pretty bland at the moment.
One thing about these educational programs that I always admired is how willing they are to experiment with different art styles and mediums. No doubt that this experimentation wasn’t cheap either which makes me kinda sad that kids content now (the stuff on yt kids) is so dull and lazy.
Blue's Clues S6 brought in Paprika and Periwinkle? Uh no.
Paprika was brought in the wnd of S1 and throughout S2 in '97, and Peri was mid S3 in 2000. I wonder who of S6 you meant?
Man 89 baby here sure wish we can all go back and enjoy simpler ⏲️ just sheding 😢just thinking about this good work 👏 🙌
12:31 if you think about it Dora the explorer outranked Blues Clues in the exact same way SpongeBob SquarePants outranked Rugrats in 1999 that showed proof that Dora the explorer was Nick Jr’s version of SpongeBob SquarePants and Blue’s Clues was Nick Jr’s version of Rugrats makes sense in the mid 90s to see Blue’s Clues and Rugrats merchandise everywhere and in the 2000s and 2010s to see Dora the explorer and SpongeBob merchandise but to this very day we still see a whole lot of SpongeBob merchandise and everything including that Krabby Patty Collab meal at Wendy’s although when Dora the explorer got cancelled in 2014 Paw Patrol took its place as it became Nick Jr’s new SpongeBob or I don’t know how to call it because 2 years later Nickelodeon would get a show that would beat SpongeBob in ratings called The Loud House but Nickelodeon also had The Fairly Oddparents going on throughout the SpongeBob time until 2017 and all it got was another season unlike Rugrats but unlike The Fairly Oddparents Rugrats had 3 movies and a spin off show but that was Nickelodeon’s way of having SpongeBob in the 90s now SpongeBob has 2 spin offs about to have 4 movies and 2 Netflix movies
#BringBack1999Noggin!❤️📺🎶👍🏻
Gonna be honest here I don’t understand how Paw patrol is an educational show. My little brother used to watch it so I’ve seen a few episodes and I just don’t see what they are trying to teach. As much as people hate Dora I at least understand what the creators are trying to accomplish and I respect that but Paw Patrol doesn’t have a mission statement like that. It just feels like a way to sell toys.
Paw Patrol is low key fascist, I would not allow kids to watch it, watch Skip Intro essay on it
Please elaborate
@@StagehandMotel6 check out the essay from Skip Intro, he doing a whole essay series on Copaganda
Is this dude ok?
You need to lay down on the drugs if you genuinely think that a cartoon about a dog cop is "facist"
