I have battled my weight for the majority of my life. My highest 364 and lowest 192. The words obesity will always be attached to my name. What I learned from my journey is that weight is just a number. You said you are “doing all the right things.” It maybe helpful to not focus on the number and just focus on the right things you are doing. Sorry just my thoughts. 😊
I agree. I hope to post an update soon, I’ve moved to focus more on my fitness, still eating healthy, but adding carbs back in. I hope you find your peace with your weight and your body, it can be a struggle.
I’ve always struggled with memory keeping despite really wanting to do it. I am trying out the Weeks for that this year. I’ve been back filling the Weeks I have and really enjoying that time. I think I’ll get another for next year!
I always enjoy watching your videos. It's always refreshing to see someone who is not afraid to say. Things can be rough when having a plan or passion but keep on going.Congratulations for such great videos.Keep up the good work😊
Sam - love the flip through! Now, about the Weeks for next year… you’ve been through this before (I feel like we’ve been through this ❤) - you’re in a great place with the standard Weeks and the Pen & Gear notebook - I think that’s what you need. I understand getting the Mega Weeks just in case and then selling later on, but do you need the hassle (but of course I already know the answer - it’s better to have it and sell it than to not have it and feel like we need to have it!!!) What do we do to ourselves 😮?!?! Good luck on your decision! I think I’m just going to stay away this year and keep my fingers crossed that I don’t have any regrets later!
Love this. I'm happily in my weeks again. Just started an Erin Condren petite wellness planner to track multiple health things. Feels good to take it out of my weeks tbh. Presently planning on a regular week's and possibly an A6 to be my health planner next year. Going to miss my cats cover from this year, it's so cute!
Ah!!! If you don’t count the two live shows that we watched in the theater, this will be my 8th and 9th this weekend! And seeing them in SF were favorites for sure!!
@@samplans Well, I wouldn't know what a weeks was if it wasn't for you, so I'm sad they didn't have the one, looking forward to 2025 because I experimented this year, and I am staying with what works and ignoring the fads.
I’m back in my Weeks, too. I’ve totally given up on rings even though I love how they look and how you can add things or take things out on the fly. As a lefty it’s just too frustrating to write around the rings. If you’re going to be in Chicago a couple days, I highly recommend the fireworks cruise through Mercury Cruises/Viator. I did it last week while in Chicago for work and it was awesome. I also ate the best steak I’ve ever had in my life at The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant. The Shedd Aquarium was meh. Have fun at the Metallica concert!
I actually looked at that restaurant months ago when searching for places! I had the aquarium on my short list, so thanks for the heads up! As for the planner-not having the rings to work around AND having all of your weekly calendars ready are two huge positives for bound books.
Yeah, I went back to Hobonichi, too (Cousin for me though...). Its funny what you said about fountain pens, because I am right there with you. I have gone to using a Zebra Sarasa Dry and it is about perfect. But I have put all of my fountain pens up for now. Weird... Good flip through! You seem so content 🙂
Hi, regarding the struggle with weight loss, I have been there before!! Have you considered doing a couple weeks with a little bit more food? It sounds really scary, but it moved me past a plateau, and research has been showing recently that maintenance breaks can lead to more long-term weight loss as well as an easier time maintaining goal weight after reaching your goal ❤
Actually, I’ve been looking into just that. It seems as if all of the fasting and keto has killed my hormones and my body has been holding on for dear life with all the weightlifting. I’ve stopped fasting and made adjustments regarding how many carbs I’m eating.
It really is remarkable what our bodies can do! They will work hard to make sure we can survive through a famine. I'm wishing you the best on this journey!
I have re-dated one of my old weeks because I really want it to work but I feel like I just don't have enough space. I keep going back to the A5 even though its huge :(
Can we please go back to the “old” days when videos were normally lit and not super bright? As much as i would love to watch the whole video, my eyes hurt after just a few seconds. Huhuhu

It’s the best memory planner for me, little snippets are just enough most days!

I’m leaning toward agreeing with you, but I also want to use up those darn back pages! 😂
@@samplansI hear you Sam! Just keep it low stress - we have enough in our lives - our planners aren’t supposed to be one of them! ❤❤❤
So excited to see the 2025 Hobonichi release! 😍 loved this flip thru as always!!
My fountain pen use has settled in because of this ink: kwaeko smoke gray. Such a beautiful color!! Thanks for your lovely amd very real video!
I’ll have to look for it, thanks!
Next year…the Weeks! Can’t wait for the previews 🤪😂🤪
It’s so exciting!!

Also yay Metallica! I've seen them twice in the UK. My dream is to see them in San Francisco 🖤

Curious what you think of the hobo weeks lineup this year? I am very excited.
There’s not a lot I like. Good for the wallet, but I’m kind of sad it’s going be so kind on my wallet. 😅

Oh I’m getting one, it’s just not the lineup of covers I was hoping for. I’m super sad they didn’t keep a botanicals in the lineup.
@@samplans I agree, that is always my first pick.
Hello!! May I ask where you got the moon pin from? TIA!
Oh gosh. I think it’s from Australia. 😅
@@samplansThank you!! Would you happen to remember what store /website by chance?
No to the mega! The standard is 100% your jam! Love your videos! I’ve been very happy in a bujo, so that’s where I’ll stay 😊
I’m glad you are settled in a system, I also agree no mega for me!

I haven’t tried a sarasa dry yet!

I felt the same way, switched to a Sterling Ink TN, and it’s working well enough.
Hi Sam, I know that you have shared it before. Where did you get the stencil for the weather?
Unfortunately, that shop has closed.
There’s no place I’d rather be dear❣️
Thanks for being here! 🫶🏻
Re: HRT - so, so many drs (both male and female) are dismissive so *please* switch if they’re not taking you seriously!
Yes! I’m actually waiting for my follow up at the doctor now. I’m thankful she listened to me.
Do you wash your car every week?
Yes
Can we please go back to the “old” days when videos were normally lit and not super bright? As much as i would love to watch the whole video, my eyes hurt after just a few seconds. Huhuhu
There are settings you can change to help-I try to use the best technology available to me. The videos don’t appear too bright on my tv or my phone.
2025 will be my tenth year in a Hobonichi Weeks. I have definitely been consistent!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Only murders in the building ❤❤❤
Love that show!
Sorry - did you say L A Floral ?
LA Florals. I have a link in the description.
