I don’t know if you have ever encountered this issue, but garage door won’t stay open or closed. It’s been opening halfway then closes again, repeatedly closing and opening, had to disconnect the battery and power for it to stop. Any ideas on what the issue is
Thank you for the comment, if you have a third party receiver, those normally causes that type of issue if not then your door might be going into collision

Thank you for the comment Lloyd, yes there should be a bracket at the top of the motor where a 24V3.5Ah battery sits. A sub to the channel would be great, thanx

Great video thanks. How does one remove the beeping sounds as the motor is opening and closing, very annoying and loud but can’t seem to find instructions for this anywhere
Thank you for the comment, not too sure which beeping you are referring too, is this when there is no AC or all the time?
It's flashing E & I after opening, and I think it's beeping from that warning message. I don't think we have a sensor (tilt garage door) and it does this when power is connected, so all the time once the garage is opened fully. @@nicksandtrickssa
Apologies for the late response, and E1 error is a pcb related issue, motor head to be taken to a service center.
Hi Nick, please assist if I press close on the remote it will go down and as soon as it reaches the bottom it will automatically go up again and open. I think the setting went out but don't know how to reprogramme it.

Hey. Just watched your video. I've got the DC Advanced. I cannot add extra remote. All my remotes just beeps when I press the button. And it is stuck on b.
Also when I want to do the quick programming holding the up button does nothing on my motor.
I've tried switching it completely off and on again
Still stuck on b
Thank you for the comment David, if your looking at it right side up and its a small "b"
it means the beams are active, if you do not have beams, do the following...
press and hold set, scroll up to capital "A"
press set to confirm
scroll down to number 0 and press set to confirm
it will take you back to small "p"
now scroll up to small "b"
scroll down to number 0 and press set to confirm
then press exit and exit again, you should now be instandby mode
to half 11 on the screen, press the remote and see if the door runs

Hi. My chain got stuck, and i had to remove and return the motor to loosen the chain. Now my remote doesn't want to work. I tried setting the limits and did everything according to your video. The only difference is that theres an intermittent beep at the end after the unit closes itself. I see in the video that your system only beeps once and goes to P on display. I get an E 1 error. How do i fix that
Thank you for the comment, E1 error is encoder error/motor fuse blown, if the motor moves even a little then it's a PCB issue and you would have to send it away for repair
How do I check the fuse ? I don't want to get a technician out if I can replace a fuse. How do I do it ? Many thanks for your other videos,got it working initially, but now got E1 code and won't move.
Apologies for late response, the fuse is at the top by the battery, 8 out of 10 motors I get with E1 has faulty relays and PCB needs updated software, the other 2 is an encoder failure on the inner motor or both failing
Trying to program the new m otor it doesn't ngo up instead it shows 2E and keeps on beeping

Thank you for the comment, E2 is a physical obstruction, fix the obstruction first then attempt the setup again

Problem: The Garage door opens but when i try closing, it beeps and shows a "b". What could be the issue?

i programmed "b" to the blue button
and it showed me "1"
now when i get back to standby
when i press the blue button
it just shows me "p" and it starts beeping
@@user-md5xx8up5j you have to complete the setup, before you can use the remote, do all the steps as it is in the video

so when the door closes
it flashes "E" and "1"

Thank you for your comment Llewelyn, unfortunately, E1 is either your encoder or PCB that cannot read the encoder, so you have to take it to a repair center, Rsec Security Equipment Center in Bergvliet, or an installer can do it for you.
@@nicksandtrickssa thanks for the reply. took of the cover. looks like some burn on the white 3 pin plug where it says encoder on the pcb. the resistor next to it also looks fried
@@llewelynklaase7896 , that could be the source of the E1, also the resistor bottom left is for the battery, mb door too heavy, if wooden door, that can be cause as well
Just asking...also getting a E1 code...how do I get the cover off to see if something is burnt.
Thank you for the comment Mark, at the top, where the battery is, there is 4 phillip head screws, be carefull as the cover will drop when you loosen the last screw.
Also note that 8 out of my last 10 repairs was faulty replays and software that was needed to fix the E1 the other 2 was faulty inner motors or both issues

Thank you for the comment. Press and hold set, go up to r, press set, go to b, press set, go to C, press set, press and hold the remote, 0 is clear complete, 3 is unsuccessful, try again
Thanks now i can set the lighter but second one when i press the button it gives me a 2 instead of 1
Thank you for the comment, 1 is for successful learn, 2 means a button is already learnt, and 3 is either no transition or too long
How to Open; During LoadShedding?
Thank you for the comment Dreshni, there should be a red string hanging from the middle of the draw bar, pull it and you can manually open and close the door, be careful tho
Why is there not a video of how to install the motor from start to finish with track and all.
Thank you for the comment Bobby, problem with that is every site is different and every gate is different, and I gues noone in the industry want you to do it by yourself... If you get hold of a manual it really tells you exactly what to do tho.

When adding a new remote it does not show 1, instead it beeps and then displays a 3

Tried.. Still getting the same thing. Funny thing is. The remote was programmed before but then stopped working
So the thing is... These thing don't just stop working, if you think back to when it stopped you will find the culprit that damaged the receiver, you will have to purchase a single Chanel receiver and program to it, please also check if the PCB is still ok, nothing melted or blown
I assume the receiver is fine because other remotes are working fine
My garage door keeps bleeping and won’t close or open . Saying a P

Good day Letty, the P indicates it is in program mode, if you press exit does it go away? The door will not function in this mode

Hi Nick's and Tricks... Mine is also showing "b" and the other buttons don't work... How do I exit? When I press the remote is beeps a couple of times then stops and nothing happens

Thank you for the comment, if it's 2 half lines, it's in standby, if all the remotes does nothing as well as the buttons on the display, then PCB faulty...

Hello sir my garage door when close will open but when pressing the bottom again to close it doesn't close instead it shows a 'b' sign and the light goes on
So I also tried the little r setting and instead of showing 1 to confirm it shows 2 what does that mean?
Good day Unathi, thank you for your comment. U have to disable the safety beams and Auto-close. Check out my video on enabling those settings and instead on 1, turn to 0.

1 means paired successfully - 2 means remote already on receiver - 3 means that no transmission was received - F means receiver is full

@@nicksandtrickssa nope. This happens once the remote is coded. It reads 1. Once you exit and test the remote, it opens the door but does close it. I'm close to you store in bergvliet and will pop in to seek help..🤣. If , however, I'm doing something wrong please advise.
