The d series is the perfect vehicle for beam. A version for every use. Drifting, road racing. Multiple varieties of off road racing. Towing, work truck variants. Low power variants. Economy versions. Most importantly, most variants can fill many roles. They all will usually handle the road well. And can usually dive into the dirt well. Damn near every version also happens to be one if the hardest vehicles to kill. Requiring excessive or lucky damage to disable in a way that prevents it from driving and steering. It's just fun
Woah. This is amazing. When I clicked off this video, I was thinking that this was made by a pretty big channel with an established community, but I guess not. The editing skills and the script both befit that of a major channel. I hope to see this channel more in the futute!
A couple of corrections, "gabester" is pronounced gabe-ster since the guy's name is Gabriel, and I'm pretty sure "donoteat" is pronounced as "do not eat".
I remember those early days of beamng! I was amazed with rigs of rods but this game blew me away at the first video I saw and bought the early acces in 2013
I'd say the same can be said with all the other BeamNG cars And I wouldn't want it any other way. Real cars would get in the way of the creativity and passion of both the developers and modders tbh
Thanks. I definitely had trouble getting the mic audio audible, I am thankful for the tip. I will look into what I can do with the gain of the mic when I start working on recording the voice audio in my next video.
I enjoyed listening to you talking about this car. Editing is excellent for a channel so small. Just note that 30 seconds of intro almost made me close the video before you even started talking. Video has popped up out ot the blue on my main page. I didn't know about your channel. I thought that probably this will be few minutes of random shots showing Gavril crashing around. Such intro is a climactic entrance to the main part of the video if someone watching is your subscriber and knows what will happen afterwards. If someone watches you for the first time, you may not get a chance for your first word to be heard.
part of the appeal of these trucks I think is since they borrow from Ford and GM 80's and 90's trucks is that everyone either owned (or still has one) or has at least driven or rode in one at some point, at least if you grew up in north america
The Gavril Barstow is overlooked but is an impressive tool too. This car as a 1968 muscle car destroys the bruckwell bastion its hardier it drives faster and holds the road better. Than the bastion Admitably i spend alot of time driving it but not only does is destroy its modern counterpart it also puts the new scintilla to shame as well Admitably if you ever get wheel spin wave goodbye to control still this thing not only performance wise in fully upgraded race form its tough like the d series as well Admitably it will pull off to the left but it will continue to drive it refuses to die not a good off roader still it just never fails to amaze me its performance this thing is old as dirt has no saftys and still deleates other cars its an amazing peice of engineering.
Hey man great video! I've been friends with Gabe for a long time, fantastic guy. Just so you're aware, it is pronounced gabe-ster as in the name gabe followed by 'ster'. :)
The Gavril d series really encapsulate even the vehicles that they were based off of, the OBS generation of both the Ford and Chevrolet truck lines. Both the genesis of modern trucks that blend comfort with utility. Both huge successes for their companies and even now with the oldest of their generation almost 35 years old are just as viable as an everyday driver and utility vehicle while still being seen as a classic.
Definitely more K1500 than F-150 with the independent front suspension and the plastic door handles, as well as the general look of the truck. Twin I beam front suspension made the OBS fords feel pretty primitive to drive.
@@BioBoyo it is a little harder in beam than in real life because there isn't as much feedback, but yesh, get a g920 wheel with shifter and pedals and you're good to go
The only think I don’t like about the d15 is the second you crash the front end into something, the halfshafts just get banished to the shadow realm and I can’t drive the car anymore
Yeah I've noticed that and I'm working on it with my next script, trying to do better with that. Never really expected these videos to get this much traction. I am glad there is people who are not me that can point out these kind of mistakes, it helps a lot with trying to improve. Thank you!
Mate come on this editing quality is flawless. You deserve more attention.

Gabester made some of the best vehicles for Rigs of Rods. Still waiting for the Gavril Omega and Zeta to get ported over to beamng.
Gavril Omega, man... The nostalgia is strong with that car.
the d series "zeta" exists
The D-Series is my goto vehicle when playing beamng i have over 1000 hours of just driving the D-Series offroading etc building them up etc etc.
Some version of the d15 always finds its way as being my default car haha
You mean the 4wd auto right?
@@abdullahajeebi no he means one of the many versions of the d-15
@@tydatv2674 yes i meant one of those versions
Bro reviewed a fictional vehicle and I love him for it

Thank you! I was a bit worried about how many words I was going to mispronounce.
@@BioBoyo Don't worry, everyone pronounces at least one word differently from someone else.
Had to reupload because of audio issues. Enojy!
I very much enojyed the video, thank you!
Easily the best drift vehicle in the game
Even the stock version with open diff gets down

Agreed
That's a terrible take excusing the fact that most real car mods for BeamNG are locked behind insane paywalls.
I agree
@@Caffeinated-DaVinci I still never want real cars lol
still i would love some kind of 2005 era dmax/rodeo/hilux/parol with a 1000hp capable 3.0l turbo deisel (obvs not 1000hp stock lol)
Beamng is underrated but once you play it your hooked beamng is the best game ever
Man I love the D Series
A Moment of Appreciation for your Camera Movement.. It felt to me like I was watching a BeamNG Showcase Video :o
Very nicely done! Looking forward to more of this type of content. Earned a sub for sure!
That editing tho😮
I am literally shaking man. This video is astonishing. I wish you all the best on TH-cam. You are a rising star mate
I love this truck, i think it's a great starting vehicle.
You just earned a sub, great quality content.
Fantastic video, great job with the editing
I have made a lot of memories with the D-series.
Just updated the captions for a better experience (:
I would love to see a modern Pick up getting added in the Game
D-Series 2020?
I actually played Rigs of Rods back then.... Good old days.
Great video man, however increasing the gain of your mic and lowering the musics volume would be awsome.
Thanks. I definitely had trouble getting the mic audio audible, I am thankful for the tip. I will look into what I can do with the gain of the mic when I start working on recording the voice audio in my next video.
@@BioBoyo Yeah no problem, the overall video quality is great it it sucks for something so simple to bring it down. I wish you good luck!
here before this guy gets the subs he deserves

you should do video about beamng in game lore
Very great editing.
We really had no idea that our basic D-15 truck would be so iconic and loved.....
Great video!
4:10 I like how he responded to that saying
I see no problem with that
You actually can do that, since there is a flatbed D-series and a porta-potty prop.
I love the d15

the D series is my favorite
I actually like the d series because it actually drives like an American truck from the Era and that's hard for alot of other games to get right
Love the Pink Floyd cover band!

A new beamer! Hello, mate!
It’s based off the best qualities of the late 90’s Silverado, Ranger, and F-150. No wonder it’s a great truck!
Add to that Dfa mod it becomes the best truck

I want to soo bad right now, when I get the time that's my first priority! In the meantime I'm thinking of good video ideas.
Ιt is not coincidence that this car is loaded by default in the game.
Beautifully said

@@crudboy12 Though the 80s and 2000s D series are heavily based off of the Ford trucks
especially with a 7-Speed Manual
I want to learn how to drive a manual in Beam. The truck would be a good practice car to do it, especially after the 0.28 update.

The toyota hilux of beamng
Excellent video! From subscriber 274 :)
built ford tough
If beamng ever gets licensed vehicles, the first vehicle should be something super stupid like a Honda Element
I wonder how gabester says their name. I always pronounced it gabe-ster. Like the name gabe.
