I wonder how much these NBA players stood out in those Physical Education classes in elementary/junior high school. Were they already ridiculously, naturally athletic? I had a guy in junior high school who were just out-running everybody in a 2-mile run in PE class every week. He became a professional soccer player.
Massively. On average they are 6,4 - faster, stronger and training everyday. You think some middle schooler could compete? Same is true for a science whiz, or a kid who reads everyday who slays English. Natural talent plus training will outshine typical students

In some cases you can tell by a persons genetics at a young age they will have the ability to compete. However, to reach the next level in most sports requires tons of dedication to practice. Then, to get to the pros is hours upon hours of just work and if you love it its not work its fun. I did 300 makes from the 3pt line Monday Wednesday & Friday my friends thinks that crazy hard im like thats only 6 rounds of making 10 shots from 5 spots behind the arc thats light. Growing up we did that 3 times a day before we went to hoop at 5 and we balled from 5 to 10pm Sunday - Thursday. Friday & Saturday were dedicated 2 kicking it & girls

Makes me wonder about those players on the team that aren’t known or ever play but they stay on the team the whole season I wonder does management take that into consideration before cutting them.

I think Gilbert Arenas thinks everyone is audacious.
There is a level where everyone thinks like this until it isn't audacious anymore. When people challenged me to a race a recess in middle school, I thought they were out of their minds. That continued to be true all the way through high school.
Imagine having NBA level talent. No one was probably real competition for a large portion of his life.
Professional level athleticism is no joke. Also, professional-level confidence is no joke.
