I love this video : An ambience of complete peacefulness surrounds the soothing narrating - a sense of relaxation is experienced. I suspect you guys are very relaxed & peaceful in your demeanour!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video! The footage and story telling was captivating, and loved that clip that focus shifted from the birds to the buffalos - what a nice reveal!
@@dogsofthewind Yip Mike beat me to it. Wonderful video though I still need to complete the Punda Maria section of the park lots of lifers for me still up there.
Great video! One request - can you introduce a lag before displaying the name of the birds? I am trying to find vids to use to teach my kid to identify KP birds and he thinks it is pretty funny if he can just read the answer instead of working it out for himself! The lag just needs to be long enough to pause the vid.
Ah, if only! We try to include as much bird sound as possible, but sadly most of what we capture is wind in the microphone, the sound of the camera’s autofocus computer working, or car engine sounds or us talking nonsense in the car. We managed to get a surprisingly large amount of bird sounds in this video as in the north, it is quiet and we can switch off our engine and plug in the microphone, but we certainly don’t have good sound equipment, unfortunately. Hopefully the music provides some ambience to the footage. We do always try to capture what we can though. Our next investment will be a better microphone, as my audio-enlightened friend says our audio is pretty terrible! 🤣
Lovely video. Glad you guys got that Racket-tailed Roller so nicely!
There were a bunch of cars watching it like a lion sighting😂
So cool
I loved this video. You got some great bird shots!👌👍👏👏👏🌟
Superb footage and commentary! Well done, Kelvin and Lindsay! I loved watching this!
I love that the small creatures get as much love on the channel as the big charismatic fauna. What a treat!
We value your opinion, thank you Brendan! Brother bear!
Beautifully narrated video 🫶 thanks for sharing
Thank you for the lovely feedback!
I agree, Punda Maria is my camp of choice
We love the camp, even how chaotic it is!

Thank you! The focus shifting was experimental but worked out nicely
My Best large Camp in Kruger>> Punda Maria Rocks
We saw a blue spotted wood dove at Letaba which was cool
That’s amazing! So lucky!
in 14.55, it's not ruff, it's wood sandiper 😎. Thank you for this wanderful film
Thank you! We struggle identifying some of those wading birds😂 we’re glad you enjoyed the video!
I enjoyed your video and have subscribed. I'm 99% certain your Ruffs are Wood Sandpipers, which we get here in the UK on passage.
Thanks so much for the sub and the info on the sandpipers. We always find those difficult to identify!

Piease no music. Please use bird and nature sounds.
