Shingwedzi - Home of the Leopard | Elephant birth! (Kruger national park)

  • Welcome back to Dogs of the Wind.
    In this episode, we visit Shingwedzi, a large camp in the North of Kruger, where we see a newborn baby elephant take its first steps! We also see not one, not two but three different leopard and meet a fellow TH-camr!

    Hi there thanks for nice viewing and the most nice one I loved baby elephant 🐘 wow it was awesome last but not list I am a follower of Xipandza Mananga immediately when u show the leopard marking the territory I new i saw it from him, he even post ur channel name on his that's good guys I love it keep it up Frans Phalaborwa

    In the video, at 6:13, you showcased a bird and identified it as the Groundscraper thrush but I believe it might actually be the Dusky Lark.
    Enjoying your videos so far! Keep up the great work and enjoy your birding.
    Love the special sighting of the Elephant and her newborn.

      Wow thank you! We immediately thought it was a thrush but it has that white ring around the eye and white legs! Very well spotted!

      @@dogsofthewind Glad we could help. Its easier to spot as we have so many of the groundscrapers living in our area. They have such beautiful teardrop patterns on their bodies. But also quite a few other distinct patterns. I hope its a new lifer for you guys now!
