Hi! 👋🏻 Yes you can use it, but instead, you should let the parking brake bring you to a full stop. But of course, if you are in a situation where you had to press the normal brakes to stop the car, then of course you have to do so. 👍🏻
Hi have done bedding vehicle stopped properly and released within minutes but still getting error park brake unavailable vehicle stopping while bedding properly is my epb accuator working properly.
Hi, since it's stopping it sounds like it's stopping properly but you're getting an error which I've not seen on my dashboard before so perhaps you might need to go and get it checked. Maybe the brakes are grabbing from one side only, not from both sides. Hope you manage to get it fixed! 👍🏻😊
Hi James, welcome to our channel! 😊 I'm not too sure, but I presume no, you don't have to since it's manual. Because the purpose of the bedding-in is to allow the motor of the parking brake to calibrate the tension on the cables.

Will this procedure work with a 2017 Discovery Sport?
Hi Scott, if you start the bedding in procedure and you get the service mode message on the dashboard, then it should work.
Do you still bed them in even if you don’t have an electric hand brake?
