Man I feel your pain bro. It’s hard to trust some of these people in the industry and not take responsibility and accountability for what they are doing with people cars
No question the most unprofessional circumstance I have ever heard of. Huge props to you CJ for handling it the way you did with candor. Frauds like these guys eventually get exposed and in the long run, karma catches up to them. It's unfortunate that you had to go through this, but in the end you learned a lot from the experience and the situation allowed you to discover people who will go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Glad to see you have moved on from this, keep chasing perfection with that beast of yours brother!!!!
Thanks for the feedback man. It was a nightmare of an experience but tough times don’t last.. I never thought I’d be involved in something like this. I wanted to leave it alone but I would hate to hear/see someone else go through this.
I’ve been saying this forever “never go to a tuner that “tunes” everything. I call them fly by night. They are never worth the time let alone 1300. …. I’m also a firm believe in not spending that much on a tune. I have an unbelievably good tune on my aem infinity and paid so much less and it incorporated all features. I’m glad you are coming out to expose another fly by night “idk how to tune this program” properly tuner. Nothing but wasted settings for most of them.
Pretty sure he was already in here with a burner account ; posted his 2 cents and got destroyed in the comments so he deleted them lol. You really think a guy that’s doing these types of things is gonna own up to his mistakes? Definitely not..
Had he admitted his mistake or confusion and worked with you to figure it another day and do it right he wouldn't have to be put on blast. Humility is super simple! People and their egos make it hard.
Exactly man. This all could’ve went so differently had he just came clean on tune day. Instead, looks like greed got the best of him and he made a decision to try to take advantage of someone. As if that wasn’t enough, he then tried to poke the bear by making up lies and making fun. Carbee deserves all this and more.
I think anyone and everyone that tunes knows 150psi sensor for oil is the standard. Dude really said to get a 100psi sensor, smh…. Glad everything worked out dude!!!

Thanks for sharing. I had a few minor complaints on his first couple tunes but they were all drivability related. After all the immaturity and lack of professionalism, I don’t think this dude should be doing anything in the service department.
Vibe was always off with him since he got more “popular” I guess, he was cool when I got a tune from him back in the day. Not surprised about any of this
Dude I was about to take mine to force fed but they sound like Kasey tuned so I'm gonna have to make a longer drive for a tuner but I definitely want a good one I'm about finished with my motor build but it scares me finding a good tuner
So much drama. Sucks. Glad Corr got you straight. I have major trust issues in this industry. I do all my building and tuning myself. And the few things I do out source, like machine work....I always check over.
I know man.. I hate the drama. I might start learning to tune but I’m just glad I ran into a good shop I can trust. The guys at Corr are still doing follow ups on me almost a month after the tune so I’m in really good hands.
Had my evo x tuned by him and the shop worked on my car but now I think it’s time to fine a different shop. I’m in South Carolina if anyone knows of any good shops please lmk
I would definitely move on man. One thing I learned from all of this is if the business owner doesn’t have any physical assets to lose, he’s probably not going to care about the local consumer. With him being a freelance tuner, I would imagine he thinks the average customer is expandable and that he’ll just get another one somewhere else. Idk what part of SC you’re at but maybe check out House Of Power.. I’ve heard good things about them. I believe they’re in Charlotte. Should be at the SC/NC border.
